If you want to use ducraft brakes make sure you buy ducraft discs also both are compactible if you buy only the pads it will damage any other disc you are using even if it is a new disc because ducraft is pure ceramic cannot go on steel discs

boss. I really didn’t want to disturb you yesterday. I was thinking u could be busy. If you remember I just briefly mentioned the rave limit which you confirmed was normal. On the inside it doesn’t look like the airbag deployed but the cell is on. Ac is good, no engine leaks, Gear selects well but I wouldn’t know what it will do when it’s hot. I still want to go and check color and smell of gear oil. Wiring is intact. As I stated in my post, the connection for cooling is still factory. Mileage is low as well . Thanks Boss

Pls I need an extra head on making this decision. I want to buy a accord 2009(2.4 ivtec). Due to financial constraints I have to go for a Nigerian used. Amongst all the ones I have seen it appears to be in better shape. No suspension noice,no electrical bypass. Thermostat still intact. How ever I noticed the car may have been Accidented before it was imported and the dealer flashed it(small issue) I noticed airbag light is on(small issue) I decided to run a scan and I got 2 codes. One is abs related(I can work my way around that) the real one that gives me worries is the p145c code with is an evap system problem. I know about this things a bit even though I am not a Honda person. Owner is asking for 1.6m considering all this things listed is this a good buy ?

I have a Toyota 4runner 2001 4wd model
Recently I noticed it is having a slow take off
Took it to be scanned and the guy said its either and electric problem or the valve body
The valve body has been replaced and the electric components checked but its still having the same issues
It doesn't move from gear 1 unless you manually shift it to gear 1
Pardon my write up, I do not know much about cars

I have a question.

I am currently in an argument with a few friends.

I am of the opinion that the a catalyst converter was built for emission control and that fuel economy is only an added benefit. The act of removing the catalyst alone should not result in "apocalyptic" fuel consumption.

My guys are like NO! The catalytic converter was designed to save fuel. And they go on to cite examples of how it got removed in their cars and the fuel consumption went mad and was only restored when it was replaced.

Please am I talking in ignorance, or do I have valid grounds to rub their ignorance in on their heads?

Hello Gazzuz. The idle air control valve in my 2005 accord has been having issues for the past two weeks and recently the mechanic resorted to blocking valve opening in the throttle body with a papper using glue and then puncturing a little hole on it. It seems to work fine when driving but usually gets very low and even stalls in the morning. I don't know what to do anymore.
