Thank you for the time you take out to reply people's messages. I would want to ask what is the recommended gear oil for 2008 Toyota Sienna and is it advisable to change the gear system from a 13-pin gear to a 10-pin gear.
ozoneymcm: Evening boss Gazzuz, I shared a problem about my 04 optima(v6) few weeks ago. The car hesitates when pedal is pressed especially when pedal is not pressed gently. It feels like fuel is about to finish. You adviced to check injectors and they have been replaced. I even replaced all plugs. Car still performs like that and diagnosis now points to airflow meter. I want to know if a bad airflow meter can make a car act like that before this mechanic compounds my problems. Can I get from you as I have actually searched the whole of Abeokuta and couldn’t find it. Thanks
I change typing colours every year.
This is 2020, you should still check fuel pressure before replacing MAF as suggested by another member.

BeardedTraveler: Chief Gazzuzz, my 07 Avalon gives a strange loud sound when the gear is put to reverse after starting the car, the sound goes on for up to 5 seconds or so before going off. It started not too long ago. What can be done please?
inception101: baba GAZZUZZ, how much is es350 catalyst... i need one asap sir and secondly, my car always shows low engine oil even when i just serviced and reset oil change. possible culprit?
Pair of used bank 1 and 2 catalytic converters are 180,000.
The oil level switch is damaged or not present.
It could signify a possibly replaced engine.
In the regular 2gr-Fe engine on most Toyota vehicles , there is no switch present.
In most Lexus vehicles , the switch is there.
My recommendation, based on the pictures I will post understand what is going on.
First pic is a 2gr-fr without an oil level switch. The next pic is for a Lexus with an oil level switch .
arantess: Goodmorning chief toyota corolla 2003 bank type makes this grinding noise at start up and upon acceleration from stop(especially 1 and 2 gear).. mechanic recommended adjuster and belt change which has been done, problem still persist, we even used a smaller belt number(1820, vehicle uses 1833) still no way... Please do you have any recommendations .....i stay in portharcourt
midetinz: Toyota Yaris with good battery(it was driven less than 24hra ago) gave a whining sound on start attempt. A kazeem told me to hit the kick-started with an iron rod to solve the problem then fix later. I remember someone did same on the car 2years ago prior to replacement of the cabon brushes. Pls what is the logic behind hitting the starter with an iron rod? Thanks
Carbon brushes are coil spring tensioned. When you hit the starter motor, they kind of readjust and make better contact with the commutator .
There is a limit to the number of times you can get away with doing this, after that it will not start.
GAZZUZZ: Today I was really busy... almost made a hat trick in vehicle sales, but we'll 2/3 is still a goal
Spent the day charging the batteries (all 34 cells at a go) using the solar panel, I am very careful and Inspect every 20-30mins.
the weather was not very favorable as it became a wet monday around 2pm, so the charging continues tomorrow.
By the side, the backup Camry 2006 will be purchased tomorrow morning solely to startup the engine and ensure its in perfect shape in case the battery pack is unable to give a long enough crank. The camry vehicle will not be factored as a cost as it will be sold as a profit after its function is completed.
Learning from my last experience, and not taking any chances.
Running engine on the ground to build up oil pressure and compression before inserting it engine bay.
