Talking about Accord cooling system, You get any ECT2 sensor weh you no dey use?

Last weekend i noticed my cooling fan ran continuously throughout my over 2 hours commute . Coolant temp was 86 - 88deg Cel with a P0128 code...
-When i get home, i checked all related relays.
-Noticed fan comes on at 86deg celsius and doesn't go off until i put off the engine
-Fan also runs when key is at ON position
-Though maybe my ECT sensor was stuck at 88 deg, so i disconnected fans and idled, ECT temp got to 96Deg before i connected the fan back.
-Disconnected ECT2, voila!!! everything back to normal, Fan starts at 95deg and go off as usual , So now i am driving around with P2185 Engine Coolant Temp Sensor 2 Circuit high

But even with Fan direct and thermostat deleted, engine temperature will still get to around 80 - 88 deg Cel, will just take longer and ECU will throw a P0128

I have seen an accord sit in 62deg celcius under hot sun inside traffic for hours

Where does the engine RPM stay when the engine is hot & car has bn driven for some time? Let's say 1 hour?

possible scenario.

Thermostat removed, and fans direct.

Temp Below. 60deg celcius.

Engine ecu trys to compensate for cold engine by raising rpm.

But what do I know?

The throttle bodies on your particular Corolla are susceptible to carbon build up. It can make the throttle plate stick. There are also reports that the throttle plate can warp causing high idle issues. Usually these problems make the idle stay high under all conditions.
Other conditions that can cause high idle are vacuum leaks that allow more air into the motor. These can be intermittent problems, but not usually. Some areas to look are around the points that the intake manifold bolts to the head, EGR valve and EGR valve ports, broken vacuum hoses, and a failed brake vacuum booster.

Other than a high idle that doesn’t drop to normal, the only problems that should be addressed sooner than later are vacuum leaks. Vacuum leaks can lead to other internal motor damages that will be much more expensive to fix. If the problem persists, you may want to have your high engine idle speed inspected by a professional technician to determine if any repairs are needed.

How can I fix or manage this.

Good day sir GAZZUZZ pls i just bought an honda accord baby boy i4 from a friend, but lately i observed that the front driver side tire size is 185 65 R15T as against 195 65 R15 on the other legs and which are specified in the manual as original specification, pls what will be the negative effect of the odd tire on the car performance. thank you.

all tyres are same height the 185 is not same width. The difference is like 6 and half a dozen when tyre wears out you can buy the right type.

The truth is that. I had just a mere interest (nothing solid) in the uber busines and searched on google... google brought me here.. i had to ask a question about the business... Futher questions gave the drivers the impre4ssion i was a threat to the business.

I had to look into the model. I formulated this model and improved it on the platform. I have never thought about it before now. The model is just 2 days old.


Now, when they say i would fail and state the loop holes... i think of a work around and improve it.


You see until ya comment, i never planned for scalability.

but if i am to improve the model, a mechanic or 2 (depending on the num of cars) will come to my office to carry out a diagnostic report on all cars every morning or every other day. Any car the mechanic(s) reports is unfit to ply the road will not move that day (subtle penalty for reckless driving).

Now the kind of drivers i will employ are people who truly want to drive. Not youths or graduates who couldnt get their dream jobs and then resorted to becoming uber drivers.. Theres a lot of expectation from family for the latter so i understand why they wish to be boss.

I am talking about drivers who will apply to be a driver in a company. People who would actually give thanksgiving in church when they get the job.

lastly, the only i reason i want to try this out is cos these people say "I WILL FAIL".

I have never been afraid of failures. Telling me i will fail actually spurs to do that which they say i will fail on. The truth is if i didnt meet these resistance, i would be thinking of going with the 30K a week model (No motivation).

I love pessimist and realist.... they are my strength


If i failed, i would have failed with a gladdened heart.

Hello Gazzuzz, good morning. Nice job you are doing here Sir.

The top gasket of my 2006 Toyota Matrix got burnt some 3days ago. I noticed the coolant was somewhat oily before I started the car that morning. I called my mechanic and he confirmed the head gasket is burnt so we fix it.

After the fix, I noticed the car is having a hard start. The car doesn't start one-time as it used to. Also, the guy didn't remove the thermostat but I noticed the fan comes on immediately I turn on the ignition - strange as it wasn't like that before.

What could be the cause of the hard start Sir? Is it that the gasket was not properly fixed? Also, what can I do to get the fan back to how it was?

What are the options available for fixing the catalyst issue. My mech is suggesting that they remove it since I am not for replacement. He said it will impact suel consumption a bit but not so much. Kindly advice
