I have a particular and vexing issue with my Honda Accord 2007 model. This issue started early this year. It goes like this, if the car is parked and not driven for a distance of like 10km in 2 days, the car engine only shudders and shakes when you try to start it. Once the engine is no longer cold after being driven for like 20mins/10 km, then it's fine as long as you drive it everyday. But once it's parked on a Friday and I don't usually use it over the weekend, starting it on Monday is a war, the main issue is the plugs get wet(fuel)and the mechanic either has to change the plugs or heat the wet plugs. I learnt the hard way because I kept changing plugs, av checked the nozzle and all other component seem to be in good shape. I would like to know if there is a particular reason why the plugs keep getting wet when the car is parked. I have patronised a couple of 'rewire' technicians and the issue still persists. I have also changed the cold start sensor..it still persist. If anyone can share ideas on how I can resolve the issue, I will be most grateful. My voice call/ WhatsApp digits:08035540649. Greetings @ feel among, am here again with some issues, before I continue I must tank u for d help u rendered some time ago wit my gearbox. Am sure u won't remember.

Now to d mata. My 07 Camry has been a buddy, real good or would I say lucky buy, its been 5yrs without any issues, but now am beginning to hear different sounds from d legs. I took it my my mechanics who asked me to change my cambers.....which I did but d noise didn't stop. Now am even scared to go to any mechanics here in asaba b4 they ruin my buddy for me.

So I have a couple of questions.
1. A car that drive smoothly on tarred roads but on rough street parts u begin to here mild wobbly sounds would likely be caused by what......forgive my English.
2. At what point is a cars shocks due for change because all d different mechanics I've visited have given me different diagnosis,one of which is shocks replacement.
3. Then lastly how do I go about dis incompetent mechanics wahala, bcs they r no 1 problem of car users

Gazzuz...nice thread...pls I need your honest opinion on this...been looking for a naija used Corolla but prices arent helping and due to my pockets am considering a naija used elantra 08(although prices arent far off from the corolla)...am actually worried about ruggedity and parts availability, as most people I know use the elantra for uber so they dont really have much idea about its ruggedity..Is a naija used elantra 08 worth the risk?? as I also want to list it on uber for some extra cash and personal use in some cases...

Thanks for your input. The car was stalling and it was diagnosed as pedal sensor error whaich I quickly fixed.
The problem right now is that it's goes off as if there's no fuel in it at exactly half tank.. I have come to realise the car uses the saddle tank i.e double tank.. the car isn't using the fuel from one tank(one half of the entire tank). One technician attributed it to the fuel pump while another attributed it to a bad tank as fuel doesn't flow to the second part of the tank as it should. I'm at a crossroad as to which one to follow. Your input is really appreciated. I'd like to hear your insight based on this new information.

Oga Gazzuz... please am having issues with my rl.. it's an 07/08 model with the 3.5l engine.. it started overheating and the top gasket was changed.. everything seems normal since then only issue is the car starts to overheat after about 3hrs of driving with Ac.. I don't have any issues if I drive without aircondition.. the water also shortens

My peugeot D8 had a timing belt cut and I had to change the top cylinder but that brought a lot of other issues.

Firstly, I realised the top is different from mine as the timing belt cover didnt match. The Kazeem alluded to that saying mine was 3 pins but the one he put is one pin but couldnt tell me the pros and cons. What does that mean? But the car picks easily.

I started having hard starting. I have to crank the car then pump the trutle for a while before the car starts. The Kazeem said it could be ECU .

I started hearing a sound at the timing belt compartment and opened to observe the adjuster slightly wobbling, the Kazeem no see anything .

I tried scanning the car but the pp2000 no dey see anything. Which kind wahala be this?

This is aside the black smoke and illuminated checklight which I am at a loss at what to do since pp2000 no fit communicate with the the ecu. The black smoke pre-dates the timing belt cut.

Wetin I go do Gazzuzz? My this plenty problem no pursue you from the thread biko .
