I beg to differ on the handling. Though they are lighter, they certainly do not handle better on those roads. You will definitely have a better handling and driving experience on those roads with either the V6 Camry or Avalon. It won't matter for too long though because they will all get battered with time. Those roads are unforgiving. Except you have funds to constantly replace suspension parts with OEM or OEM level quality and keep up with the maintenance religiously

Hello guys, mine is a Honda city 2009.

Drove the Car from Apapa and on getting to ikeja, the oil indicator light appeared on the dashboard. When I got home I checked the oil level and it was good.

This morning I turned on the ignition n started the car and after 5mins the oil indicator light appeared again.

What could be the problem?

It really depends on the type of engine under the hood.

If it is VCM enabled engine, it is very pricey.

I own a car which is still in the previous owners name. I am not really willing to do a change of ownership yet.However, I want to renew its insurance cover and I am considering the comprehensive one.

My questions are:

- if I need to make a claim, will this be an issue? Do I need to contact the previous owner ? What if I need to reach him and for some reason ,I can't,what happens,will my claim still be valid?
- if I need to renew, how much Will it cost considering that I will need a new number plate.

Hi Gazzuz, my car goes into limp mode when trying to gain speed especially when accelerating. It's kinda sluggish now and after scanning I got cylinder 1 misfire.

Earlier before when I got the limp mode, the culprit was the VANOS solenoid which I replaced and solved the issue. Now the error I got before replacing the solenoid has returned. Error is camshaft sensor mechanical and camshaft sensor stiff.

Fuel pump was replaced last month and it really ade the car so snappy and fast but it's now sluggish. What could be cause of the misfire. I was told to fill my fuel tank and buy Mobil fuel treatment first if that would solve it.

The Senate has passed a resolution directing the Nigerian Customs Service to halt its plan to penalise Nigerians who do not pay duties on their vehicles within one month.

The resolution, on Tuesday, followed a motion by the Deputy Leader, Bala Na’Allah, who said the new Customs policy was “a serious matter”.

In his contribution, Kogi senator, Dino Melaye, said it was not possible to import vehicle without clearance or “collaboration” of the Customs.

The Senate resolved that Customs halt actions until the agency appears before its Committee on Customs.
Senate President Saraki Saraki said it was the responsibility of the senate to ensure welfare of Nigerians.
Customs had threatened to impound vehicles without duty papers, and to prosecute their owners.
