A Toyota Highlander on full speed ran into the Oando filling station on Awolowo way, Ikoyi, around 12:45am early this morning. This occured while the Highlander was trying to avoid a car that obstructed its path. That divider has been pushed back several times by the government especially when they keep fixing the truck barrier but the danfo drivers,okadas and keke always push it back to make illegal U turn

look at that truck barrier very visible but trucks will still try and force their way on to that bridge

The government is not the problem but the lawless danfo drivers and the people that will see them shifting the divider and do nothing

If the divider is put back by next morning this lawless people have shifted it again

I wonder how these people act with such sense of no impunity. This case is quite similar to my experience of December 24 2015. I was travelling with my family from ibadan to Lagos for Christmas with Christmas goat in my wagon ( 1998 passat) along lagos abeokuta express. I only asked to be given a through pass as the frsc guy was delaying me while trying obtain e gun je from an overloaded cab the walked up to me and asked why I was hooting. as a correct ibadan boy I kept him in his place so he started asking for my safety kits and license when he couldn't find fault he claimed I am overloaded cos of the ram. We were only 3 in a wagon car o. The guy booked me I had to pay 2k cos my wife pleaded with him he said my fee was 10k

I don't know why everyone is hailing this Gazuzz guy... what he does is really quite simple. Any mechanic can do it. He goes out to check a car and badmouths it to the intending buyer. Afterall, he would have been paid for the inspection already and has nothing to lose. He had badmouthed two cars I had for sale , I still sold these cars and the users are still thankful to me till tmr. What hurts the most is that he exaggerates the extent of an issue on a car... the only car he approves as good are the ones he sells. As it is, if I pay him to check out the avensis he has for sale, I am sure he will badmouth it. Besides who buys a 1999 avensis converted from manual to auto or who believes a 1999 avensis still has factory ac.

The avensis I put up for sale Still has FACTORY installed air-conditioning, you can come and inspect . Mean while, the avensis is my vehicle bought and paid for by me 2years ago.

Thanks for the reply. But can a faulty engine harness explain the fact that the problem developed gradually with the coil coming on and off intermittently until now that it's mostly off? And that another Brainbox was able to make the faulty one work fine but another one stop working?

Please I have a serious problem. Have a Mitsubishi Pajero 2001 with one coil (2 cylinders) not firing and also starting problems. A scan suggested the power unit (TR2 if I remember correctly) but it's been changed (tried 2 samples) to no effect. My electrician insists it's the brain box but 3 different ones have been tried(including one from Dubai) and none worked fine. They started well suggesting the original brain box was indeed not working well but none fired properly. One even transferred the non working coil to another coil nearest to the battery while the originally troubled one started working (the coil not working with my brain box is the one furthest from the battery). Now he's suggesting rewiring the car to work with my brainbox AND the purchased one (at 35k), one to control firing and the other starting at a 25k workmanship charge since all else has failed . Is this even possible? Should it be done or continue looking for brainbox?
