Billyonaire: If Lagos State is serious, they should rather invest in GENCOs and not DISCOs, who will generate Power for them to Distribute. This is Greediness, Federal Government should not sell any DISCOs to Lagos. When other States were building IPPs, Lagos was busy building Toll-Gates.Is there no limit to the lies your sort will tell here just to support/oppose a Party/State/administrator? When I call you all losers you get angry and throw childish tantrums but you forget all the times your fraudulent submissions and blatant lies here mark you out as nothing but losers because you are overly sentimental and never work with facts and on-the-ground reality. How can you being that way then ever predispose you to winning in life? You can hate people but don't lie about them or their effort because you cross over into wickedness doing that. Lagos State, with its proactive leadership seeing it now nominated as one of the most innovative cities of the world, has always exemplarily led the way everywhere. Whether it is PPP, security, efficient tax collection or the methodical approach to securing the greatest IGR increment seen in Nigeria, Lagos has always led the way. Same holds for IPP and people like you only display ignorance and a penchant for wickedness and bad belle mischief with your lies. Some of us, always effective at critical thinking even if we have traditional bias and affiliations, know precisely what we are talking about when we say the FG has always deliberately attempted to undermine the progress of Lagos State. People like you should be ashamed of yourself and how you find it expedient to speak in support of the condemnable practice where an indolent FG acts as if a Nigerian State is its enemy merely because said State is controlled by the opposition. I am ashamed to be called a Nigerian with people like you because, through the grace of God, I am privileged to see first hand how effort is complementary and genuinely National in most countries of the world whereas Nigeria, as usual, must remain aberrant. Stop coming here with lies you are not bright enough to get away with while those who deal with facts are still members of this forum. You will only get discredited and shown up for the liar and ignorant hack that you are. Only God can forgive hateful, wicked and totally amoral liars like you. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2011/06/power-again-lagos-sets-the-pace-in-ipp/ Power: Again, Lagos sets the pace in IPP |
ddeola: Please let's ignore this man, they are using him to distract the attention of Nigerians from the mess in this govtHave you noticed the insanity and rabid rants of Okupe has gone into overdrive since the ACN convention, a few days ago, where the Party formally merged with the APC? The reality of things is really beginning to frighten some people and that is unducing a psychosis now resulting in them backing madly like rabid dogs. It is Okupe and his paymasters who have committed political suicide. The charlatan should simply learn to control his anger and frustration better. |
onatisi: you must have wasted ur youthful years to end up like this, when ppl of ur age are in positions of power u sit down with ur grey hair on the internet chatting and exchanging insults with people u are old enough to be their father, abi u don craze before?definitely u wasted ur early years smoking ganja.amukun meko.better find a way of achieving something tangible before u enter 70.Omo ole and 419ner, what is your age? Why all this Azonto dance? You are asked a simple question after making the fraudulent assumption crooks like you deploy for a living. Tell us your age instead of ranting like a petty, illiterate market gossip. Why not simply tell the forum your age, once and for all, since you assume you are young and others are old. You simply cannot do so because you are a liar and failure hustling in Accra at the age of 50 while pretending to be "young".Loser. |
Sad and very desperate Presidency. They have tried everything and now deep frustration is setting in. The new tactics is to whip up ethnic sentiments after all efforts to prevent the formation of the mergers has failed. Let GEJ and all his mercenary simply accept that we are under the last undeserving and accidental President to lead Nigeria. It is time we joined other Nation who have enshrined a culture of having only proven performers in positions of ultimate power and not a recluse like Yar Adua or abject career mediocrities and dishonest individuals like GEJ, David Mark et al. |
onatisi: adagba ma danu, listen it is an open secret here on nl how dumb an old fool u are .so just behave according to ur age and grey hairs, instead of allowing young men to insult u.try to behave like an agbalagba at least for onceIlliterate Mumu, tell us your age now. Is age no longer a simple number? Bobo, simply tell us your age and stop dancing around shamelessly and fraudulently. You don't even realise how senseless you sound. How can anyone's age be an open secret here when most Nairalanders have never met any other Nairalander? What shows you are a fraudulent-minded gossip more than this? Ogbeni, tell us your age and stop dancing Azonto up and down. This is what you disgraceful Nigerian fraudsters do up and down. I.e automatically and falsely put yourself in a position that you think gains you an advantage. We see it on this forum daily. You are always "younger than others". Here many of you are "studying for masters/PHD" never mind that your language indicate you are probably hustlers in a motor Park. Many of you have been in "leadership position" when your poor reasoning only reveals minds fit for only the most mundane of jobs. Some of you are even "Billionaires" when it is clear you have probably never had 2,000 Naira in your pocket .You are the real agbaya if you can simply not say your age and prefer assuming you are younger than others here. Yahoo-yahoo. They will soon bring you to book in Ghana. They are not smiling with your sort there. |
onatisi: old man shut up and listen,if u have missed any of ur anti rabies then go and take it.i didnt insults but if that consitute an insult to ur grey hair then take it.i never run away from a duel.agbaya oshiMumu? Why don't you start by telling us your age instead of insinuating you are younger than others? Silly 419ner. Is that not standard behavior of 'wayo' people and yahoo-yahoo fraudsters like you? Is it not what your sort do even at the national level to the disgrace of Nigeria and to the extent we have 36-year old parading as under 17 and pretending to be younger than Lionel Messi? Meanwhile 25 year old Messi is having a stonking career while "22 year old" Macauley Chrisantus and others who bullied genuine 17 year old in 2007 to win the under 17 world trophy have faded into obscurity and are nowhere to be seen today. A nation of 419 at every level aptly typified by crooks like you with the mind-reading ability to predict the age of others, on an anonymous forum, when they have not been told such. I bet you are 19 and studying for a masters as most Nairalanders claim here rather than an old drifter moving from Country to Country hustling. Keep deceiving yourself. Oponu. |
thelastPope: Anytime you are found out, you repond with 22 paragraphs of insults and meaningless google search results. Is this how your brain works?Mumu, the entire forum can see you are the only one who has been "found out". Instead of begging others to help your mischief, why not simply present whatever figures you have for inspection here, as I have done, and let others judge for themselves? It seems you are too unintelligently obdurate to understand the simplicity of the notion that the PDP politicians were voted out of the top/most influential political offices in the SW in 2011. I.e the sort of offices capable of affecting the policy direction of the region. That is why you are running around making no sense as usual. Overcome the cowardice you confessed to and focus on Delta State politics. Stop talking about things you know nothing about. Also, try and learn to spell properly. It is losing not "loosing". Kapish? |
ZUBY77: Dear Lagos state,By selling DISCO to Abdulsalami and co with no previous capacity or expertise to operate in the sector? What caused the fuel subsidy scam again? Look, the privatisation of the power sector is a good thing but there should always be the flexibility to give deserving States the chance to craft unique solutions to match their own specific needs. State privatisation should be an option if we are in a purist federal arrangement. This will not be the first time the FG has played politics to impede the progress of Lagos. OBJ even made it virtually FG policy to say an outright No, even before he has considered the argument, to anything Lagos suggested. Not too long ago on this forum we all praised the coming of legislation to allow States generate and distribute power. Is that not virtually State privatised power solution? Is it then not inane that States cannot submit bids to run Distribution Companies? What is the problem, when legislation is already in place giving States distribution autonomy in the sector, with letting Lagos acquire distribution Companies within it's border? When has privatisation meant excluding States from bidding meritoriously for considerations that should be open to all? Is it not obvious that this is then no longer "privatisation" in the strict sense of the word? Look deeper and , like the fuel subsidy scam, you will see the same desire for a few to keep their hands in the cookie jar through favoured/selected cronies. Tell me where this rejection puts the thread below where virtually all Nairalanders, including myself, praised the positive effort of the FG. Logically inspected, without sentiments and in view of latest developments backed by legislation, does the refusal of the FG not appear like sabotage of Lagos to you? https://www.nairaland.com/818599/states-begin-power-distribution-january |
onatisi: i wont trade insults with u ,i have elders in my family, but honestly gbawe i think u are too old for all this forum insults ,always try to make ur points without insulting ppl, that will protray maturity but if this is the only way u know then i wish u well.Shut up silly hypocrite. Nothing I do is by accident. I am a polite person by nature but many of you here are slimy b.astarrds who want to insult other freely and then play victim next minute when you gain the same sort of response you dish out. Anyone I insult here deserves it because they would have thrown insults first. Even here I will prove it. What have you written below if not character assassination and an insult against my person? Guy, stop being an open and cowardly pretender and slimeball. You will only get exposed for it. If you do not want to be insulted then don't throw it around because what I know of this forum is that cowards like you get emboldened when you think your unsolicited insults are cowering others. What "pudding" have you set aside for me and what is "my type" you have worked out in you dishonest mind? Or do you think everyone is a jobless and hungry mercenary for hire like you and Okupe? Respect yourself and get respect in return. Simple. the likes of him wil always decamp after elections just to have a piece of the pudding,we know their type |
onatisi: it is pointless arguing with that guy ,let him keep living his apc paradise, the likes of him wil always decamp after elections just to have a piece of the pudding,we know their typeMumu. Ode igboro. I have answered your master with fact above. Like I keep saying to olodos like you, we can all be partisan in our affiliation but few, in a forum where cretins like you soil everything with sentiments, can defend there bias/position here with facts as some of us do consistently on virtually every topic. Nothing can be as straightforward as I have put it to you and your co-travellers. Are we talking about the same PDP so decimated in the SW to the extent a whole Speaker of the lower house, i.e Bankole, and Iyabo Obasanjo-Bello could not even win in their hamlet? What manner of 419ners are you guys to now come with this unbelievable revisionism? Is it not the same PDP that was reduced to begging the centre for token appointment it did not deserve courtesy of its awful electoral showing in the region? You guys are merely only sentimental and feudal. There is no redeeming quality to your sort of partisan outlook. You cheapen and dumb down the politics section here because you never do fact, logic or reality and I can only wonder how this must blight your efficacy and progress in real life. By the way, as you claim to know "my type" is how I know your type also. Are you not among those worthless, jobless and disgraceful Nigerian thugs hanging around outside Nigerian restaurants in Accra begging and harassing every diner with the words "chairman wetin una get for us". Steeeewpid loser. |
thelastPope: How did the 2011 election show that the SW rejected PDP and that the PDP is dead? Can you support your claim with the votes figures please? What was the figures in Ogun, Oyo, Ondo, ekiti and Osun? You guys never stop indulging in lies!Mumu. This is why unintelligent charlatans like you should have the sense to mind your own business. Do you know how many legislative seats the PDP lost in the SW? Olodo. You think everything is about gubernatorial elections? Only slow posters here would not have worked out who you are. Shameless wannabe. Try , for once in your wretched busybody life, to focus on Delta State politics and stop your malevolent obsession over SW politics you know nothing about. Look at the situation in 2007: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Action_Congress_of_Nigeria_(ACN) In the 21 April 2007 Nigerian National Assembly election, the party won 32 out of 360 seats in the House of Representatives and 6 out of 109 seats in the Senate.[s][/s]and 2011, with most gains in the SW : Seats in the Senate 18 / 109Stop chatting crap ogbeni. The only liars are folks like you who never mind their business and fraudulently want to misinterpret the clear choices others have made to suit your own parochial agenda. I am sure people like you deeply envy the cohesiveness with which the SW take political decisions but you can go and jump because that is not about to change. The political sophistication in the region is such that performers, whether they are ACN or Labour, are retained and non-performers, whether they are ACN also, are booted out in free and fair elections. Progress is all that matters. The SW spoke decisively. You should mind your own business, focus on your own leaders because they are terrible enough to keep you occupied. Respect the choices of others and stop your wannabe obsession with them that leads you to lie openly and deny reality. I repeat that the PDP was soundly rejected in the SW in 2011. Deal with that fact loser and mind your own business. |
donroxy: Mr Man, how do u read please, do u comprehend the OP at all.........na comment like urs dey create Tribal brouhaha on Nairaland ......Thank you. As Okupe and GEJ are treacherous, so also those who hold brief for them. Okupe, by his own past utterance, has shown he believes crudely in the PDP concept of individuals coming together to share Nigeria's commonwealth exactly as the Charge d’ affaires of the US embassy in Nigeria, Lisa Piascik, stated in the past when she opined that the PDP is not a political Party in the real sense of the word but merely a congregation of individuals united by the desire to share the 'national cake' amongst themselves alone. It is the tragedy of Nigeria that it is GEJ, Okupe and other misfits who control offices they would have no business occupying in nation where meritorious appointment is the mainstay of governance success. This is why Okupe is yapping in overdrive lately. It is the rants of a a man scared of losing it all because he know there is no place for him when the system is fully opened up to the concept of merit and ability carrying the day as the ACN demonstrates it is fully committed to . http://stephendieseruvwe./2012/03/11/pdp-is-not-a-political-party-but-a-fractious-and-opportunistic-coalition-of-interests-lisa-piascik/ PDP IS NOT A POLITICAL PARTY, BUT A FRACTIOUS AND OPPORTUNISTIC COALITION OF INTERESTS – LISA PIASCIK |
onatisi: i beg help me ask am oooo.i dont know where they all seem to get the idea from that every single yoruba man loves nd like their so called apcLook, stop jumping around in idiocy. The 2011 election showed, beyond any shadow of doubt, that the SW has rejected the PDP. You can therefore keep dreaming of a PDP comeback in the SW or deal with reality. The PDP is dead in the SW for very good reasons and even as your sort do not want to admit it, the much better performance of the ACN, after the PDP days of chaos, will keep the PDP firmly six feet under in the SW. |
ewet: Bros we already died in 2011 by allowing GEJ bcom prez,we are not afraid of dying again,we will do evrythng to vote the PDP out 2015.GEJ and his cohorts are just wasting thir time. Our minds are already madeup. My brother, Okupe is only scared it is "game over" for undeserving elements like him and his paymasters in a new order under the APC. Why will he not squirm like a Pig about to be dragged out of a mud pit? The entire world agrees this is good for Nigeria's democracy yet who are the immature folks having a problem with ACN correctly sacrificing for the evolutionary good of Nigeria? You guessed it. Mercenaries and small-minded charlatans who, for one reason or the other, want a continuation of the wretched status quo no sane person will agree is acceptable. Which well-adjusted person will have a problem with a very corrupt and ultra-indolent Party being challenged to move away from it's 14 years comfort zone of impunity predicated on the knowledge that it can misrule Nigeria as badly as it wants only to always be returned to the centre at the polls? This is why it is difficult to pity Nigerians sometimes when they show they do not pity/respect themselves and are actually the ones speaking in favour of the continuation of the terrible status quo. |
micklplus: Okupe and the presidency forget that, the presidency and the occupier belong to Nigerians irrespective of political affiliation. You are totally correct but can you expect a successful surgery when you deploy a carpenter to replace a qualified surgeon? This is the sad story of Nigeria i.e 'apprentices' everywhere and square pegs in round holes. The only result of that is what we are seeing now whereby a mediocre and unfit President gather a mercenary and worthless team who debase the Presidency daily and humiliate us Nigerians via portraying our ruling Party as one with nothing to do aside gossiping and b1tching effeminately against everyone and everything. Achebe refused award, they insulted the old man. Ezekwesili ask for accountability and they ridicule her as a woman. Ribadu agreed to work for them and they turn him into the bad guy with the same Okupe rising up publicly to assassinate Ribadu's character merely because he delivered a report damning of the complicity of Okupe's paymasters in the looting of Nigeria's wealth. Now we have the formation of a strong alliance praised worldwide for its evolutionary progressiveness because of how it will make Nigerian politics stronger since the PDP will gain genuine competition knocking it off its comfort zone. Yet who has a problem with this aside the likes of 'chop and clean mouth' empty barrels like Okupe and their misguided co-travellers disturbing us here on this forum? |
Boyoorisha: What do you know about politics? He knows nothing at all because he is the typical embodiment of Nigerian youths. Vacuous, materialistic and crassly myopic. Which of us will live forever? Is it not worth making sacrifices and fighting for some causes at certain stages in life even if the outcome/future is unknown? The only thing constant in life is change. We saw young Egyptians, Tunisians and Libyans lay their lives down for what they believed in recently. ACN is merely merging with others and Okupe is showing himself to be a mercenary who will never understand the concept of moving out of a comfort zone in trying to achieve something worthwhile. Okupe is then joined in this idiotic display by the Nigerian youths in cyberspace who validates Rotimi Amaechi's recent utterance that Nigerians are too weak and docile to ever do anything radical about their current awful predicament. Let us not forget it is this same Okupe who showed exactly what he believed in recently with the utterance that "when people unite to share what is scarce and you have no one to fight for you, then there is a problem". He said this in regard to the SW not having weighty offices at the centre, enabling charlatans like him to 'eat', when men of ideas appreciate it is about the quality of life of ordinary Nigerians. Did even Jesus not sacrifice for the salvation of humanity? Okupe and his backers on Nairaland are the disgraceful elements testifying to the ugly aspects of what some Nigerians are. I.e materialistic opportunist and fraudsters who rationalise everything via the perspective of never losing control of the money and 'juicy' positions. When the merger did not work last time it was the charlatan you respond to here and the Okupes in our polity who mocked that the opposition Parties were "too selfish to put their difference aside". Now they talk of "suicide". Hypocritical double-speak. Yet, I only smell the fear of those who know Nigeria is about to change for good. |
Zechy09: Can you see the reason many people don't take politics section serious and assume it is a place to defend your political affiliation instead of defending the truth.Clearly you are another one who has a problem with the messenger regardless of your pretence to the contrary. To any objective person, can it be said I am defending the ACN here? All I have done is try and use facts and the right translation of what is stated to correct the ignorance and misconception that produces the sort of partisan and inane submission here which is the real reason intelligent folks will not take the political section seriously. What is wrong with telling all of you factually that the manager of the LFTZ is talking of the sum that may accrue to LASG ,as internally generated revenue, from the direct and indirect activities linked to the Port over the length of the concession? Do you want to remain ignorant or is it everything you want us to fight over and turn into an ACN/PDP war? Frankly, it is people like you that have driven many intelligent posters , who deal with facts and statistics, away from this forum with your feudal mindset you deploy negatively any time you cannot understand the depth of what others are talking about. So far, many contribution here, with all due respect, has been garbage driven by partisanship. You should simply show I lie anywhere with your own set of facts. Show I have added to or subtracted from what is provided rather than simply made reasonable and factual conclusion based upon what is written. It is as simple as that. You inanely call this a "blatant lie" yet , as one example, how much do you think 160,000 new jobs may bring Lagos in the form of taxation? There are many, many, many activities that could be indirect money-spinners due to the operation of the port. If you don't have the knowledge to appreciate what others know then concentrate on defeating ignorance and bettering yourself instead of saying others are lying because they are miles ahead of you at appreciating the economics of things. At the end of my submission I concluded the figures seem optimistic but , unlike ignorant folks who don't work with fact, conceded it was not impossible because there are tonnes of information I do not have such as the business tax/levy Companies operating at the port may pay that would swell Lagos coffers. The functional illiteracy here, seeing folks shun facts and logic, is the real reason intelligent posters will come and leave in the end. |
Venchy: Typical of Nigerian leaders, very very Opinionated, always in denial. .. corruption that has been in the system before you (GEJ) was born.Bruv, what else do you want him to say? We all forget this is the same man who pardoned a looter of the commonwealth of the people. He has no choice but to defend the corrupt empire he is building with his kleptomaniac cronies and affiliates. |
mrlizo: On Twitter, reacting to accusation that he was once a blind defender of President Olusegun Obasanjo , a former Senior Special Assistant, SSA, to Obasanjo on Public Communications, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode in a bid to justify himself referred to Presidents Jonathan and Yar’Adua as dogs. You can see it for yourself below:@OP Not a fan of fani-Kayode but he has not "gone too far". It is merely that you don't understand what he is saying. Fani-Kayode, in the link you provided, said : @Omojuwa I never described OBJ as "our messiah" but I defended his record which is second to none. Since he left Nig has gone to the dogs".I suggest you go and learn what the idiom "gone to the dogs" mean |
turawafett: only one question i have to ask, how many years will it take the generate the over $200 billion. i did not read anyway that it will be generated within a year.Correct. You ask precisely the right question. How long is the concession period over which the $200 billion target is based upon? Why can posters here, on either side of the debate i.e feasible or otherwise, not simply establish this critical fact before they begin attempting to speak conclusively? Secondly, the utterance of the Managing Director of the Lagos Free Trade Zone, Mr. Haresh Aswani, may have been misunderstood by many. He stated and I quote: http://www.theheraldng.com/200-billion-internal-revenue-expected-from-lekki-port-by-2016/ "on completion by 2016, the project would contribute to the internally generated revenue of Lagos state some $200 billion and will create about 163, 000 new jobs." Obvious that any estimate is not exclusive to the direct earning of Port operations alone but also to so many other linked State income generation consideration such as the taxes to be paid to Lagos by thousands of newly created jobs, business levies, tourism, etc, etc. The Lekki deep sea port is conceded for 45 years which means the $200 billion estimated accrual to Lagos state government is expected over that period from direct and indirect activities connected to the operation of the Port. I.e over $4 billion a year, over 45 years, will accrue to Lagos through the direct and many connected considerations arising from the operation of the Lekki deep sea port. Optimistic in my opinion but not unrealistic or fraudulent. |
Of course the PDP must pack and go. But for the lack of political sophistication of Nigerians, PDP would have gone ages ago because they have delivered nothing but backwardness to Nigeria over a 14 year period. We are certainly 'very different' in Nigeria but I would think even our legendary fame for "suffering and smiling" will not keep PDP in power a day beyond 2015. They will even lose more States and be seriously decimated in the legislative houses. The ACN obliteration of the PDP in the SW, in 2011, will happen across Nigeria because of the same reason it did in the SW. Total dissatisfaction with a worthless ruling Party failing to give people even the basics. Beyond all the feudalism played out here daily, the cold reality is that Nigeria will not continue to exist in a vacuum when all around her are busy making progress via booting out ineffective/mediocre leaders. Folks can make my word about this. |
. ACN is looking to outsource its candidate from PDP again. They have been talking to Tambuwal and some other folks in PDP as options. Preempting this, Okupe has come out to cast a moral burden on them. With this attack, APC's image would be dealth a serious blow and people would not take them seriously if they source their candidate from PDP. Okupe has tactically limited their options. If they are truly and really different, why can't they produce their own "Fresh Air"? Why must they always look to PDP for presidential candidate? Doesn't that suggest that they - APC are opportunists with no ideals?
What votes can Tambuwal get that Buhari cannot deliver multiplied by 50? Tambuwal will fare no better than Ribadu in the North and strategically, the APC can never do anything so obviously self-destructive as ceding their top position to a candidate from a Party they want to depose. In politics, politicians meet secretly all the time and no mature person, not present at these meetings, can/will speak conclusively about what the meeting was about. Balanced folks, understanding of the nature of politics, will accept they could have met for any number of reason but feudal minds would rather conclude it is to crown Tambuwal APC Presidential candidate even when the idea is obviously inane for many reasons. Perhaps Jonathan wanted to recruit Tinubu to be PDP VP candidates all the times he secretly met the former Lagos governor in the past. |
Here we go again with another ludicrous official denial that sounds as sincere as saying Boko Haram exist to help old ladies across the road. Pure garbage. |
@OP Have you advised Abdullahi to think outside the box and consider self-employment? Unemployment is a problem many Nations of the world are currently grappling with. Humanity has to be creative at this point in time and there may be vast rewards for those able to resist following the herd unthinkingly. 8 years is a long time to spend searching for work when Abdullahi could have now perfected and began the operation of one business plan effectively. You will probably tell me about capital and start-up fund but ask Abdullahi how much he estimates he has spent in the last 8 years seeking work and you may find that the same financial, physical and mental effort invested in that search for work, futile to date, may have been sufficient enough to have a thriving SME (small to medium enterprise) going by now. |
eggheaders: @Op they're both in the same class of failed leaders.when we get it right in this nation maybe both of them will be cellmates in kirikiri.but obj gat balls than that otueke drunkard.Correct. Both men testify to the lack of political sophistication of Nigeria whereby we can have an Adedibu lording it over established technocrats and men of ideas. The main thing Nigeria need is the urgent growth in political sophistication of the polity that will see the average Nigerian able to make sensible, pragmatic and critically effective decisions. When we get to that stage, as others have, we will all forget we were ever ever led by mediocre failures like OBJ, GEJ, Yar Adua, Shagari et al. I think globalisation and increasing exposure , leading Nigerians to see what obtains else where, will take us there. It will not continue to be the case for Nigeria that mediocrities continue to make it to the apex of Nigerian administration. |
Dee60: That makes him a political liability!.... and a mercenary. |
Goddex: Keep shut Gbawe!!!Look, the opposition can be a pain. It is same everywhere in the world to include the most advanced democracies we copy fastidiously like the USA. Watch UK Prime Minister question time to gain some perspective. You should acquire some maturity and ability to think critically as this will show you that the onus always lies on those who occupy the seat of power to do what is right and capable of shutting up criticism. Tinubu and Lai Mohammed can be a pain to GEJ but they as so and will continue to be so as an exponent of GEJ's own gross incompetence and compromised leadership. You cannot, anywhere in the world, justify the notion of a Presidency engaging in mud-slinging when the voice of opposition only get stronger because of valid criticism that remain, day in day out, ignored. Get that into your feudalistic and clannish head. Even if you claim I hate you, because I am the neighbour who tells you to clean your front garden so as to stop disgracing the community boasting well-kept houses around yours, why not shut me up first by doing what I correctly ask for? Doing that means you have the right, the next I talk, to show me up to be hollow. Jonathan is not minimally interested in that approach at all yet politically unsophisticated folks like you defend him blindly. Instead, GEJ is criticised about monumental corruption and next minute he is pardoning corruption while unleashing Okupe et al on those correctly highlighting his duplicity, deceit and corrupt streak. Grow up dude and learn to accept that a man grows when he accepts rather than avoid or deflect truthful and factually correct criticism. The aberrant creature would be one who expensively deploys 'attack dogs' rather than face the truth. |
Really? Oh, I understand, another ACN bigot. Of course, no one expects ACN bigots to take Okupe serious.
Look, say what you want but first show us the Performing leaders worldwide who gathers an array of expensively maintained spin doctors and attack dogs, like your dear President, with the duty of insulting everyone saying the truth about poor and grossly inadequate leadership. It is all so easy, because most Nigerians have been brought up on a staple diet of "them against us" feudalism , for many to always miss the most important point to be attacking "enemies". Nigerians, in my opinion, do this more than others I know. When Obama lambasted GEJ for corruption, some forgot the main correct message to suddenly remember that America is our enemy and "the most corrupt nation in the world". When Cameron asked GEJ to account for the trillions Nigeria has received in income, many damned the meritorious request and limited their input to shouting that "those imperialists should shut up". Can't some of you even try to think critically for the benefit of your own life success? How is it good for a President to have so many attack dogs with the exclusive duty of responding to everything negative said about the government with pugnacious insults? There is virtually no one/group that has not been insulted by the crew of Okupe, Abati, Omokri et al be it Ezekwesili, Tinubu, El Rufai, Buhari, Achebe, the Nigeria youths, Nigerians, SNG, Tunde Bakare, Femi Falana, Soyinka, Aregbesola, Fashola et al. Surely you must realise that this is disgraceful and the antics of clueless leaders who, instead of getting to work, embrace insult and the paranoid alienation of everyone to mask gross incompetence and inadequacies? These things reflect the character of GEJ i.e always willing to pettily get into the gutter with anyone instead of simply delivering results that will shut critics up. |
Sincere 9gerian: The above post is better than your previous very lenghty effluents. It will be unfair not to recognise the improvement, however little. Nonetheless, the above post could still have been articulated in 3 to 4 sentences. You may benefit from a brain plastic surgery, to trim your brain and streamline your thoughts.Mumu, when you have a decent job then you can rise up from being the equivalent of dirt beneath my shoes. As things stand, you are simply worthless garbage with weak and senseless retorts. You would be better off in the cosmetic section discussing lipstick and mascara. Your histrionics here fools no one. It is obvious why your sort are scared of Tinubu. Rather than confess to the truth, your sort channel fear and outright envy into the non-stop tiring gossip about the man we see here daily similar to petty, ugly and envious women bitching about Jennifer Lopez because she is a millions times what they can never be. Crybaby 'Airhead'. Continue to weep as Tinubu consolidates his reputation as one of the most influential and most sane Politician in Nigeria. Meanwhile your messiah is only good for receiving knocks these days from the international community so I can understand your desperation. |
This will not surprise those who know Jonathan. He was brought in to defend the interest of the most corrupt in the land. This is why corruption is having a field day under GEJ. Sooner or later, one of the clueless and accidental leaders Nigeria is always lumbered with will loot the Nation into bankruptcy. |
Sincere 9gerian: @Gbawe..,learn to articulate your thoughts in very few words. These your lenghty epistles that litter the whole thread are boring.Sharrap slowpoke. No wonder you are a herbalist masquerading as a medical doctor on "sabatical". This is the politics section. If you have a problem reading what others write then bounce and go to where you can cuz, wuz, and gossip in one line about Tonto Dike's tattoos. In any case, you are the biggest, slimiest hypocrite here. A totally shameless and amoral character. When you write an entire book here eulogizing the mediocre GEJ , to include blatant lies, you did not deem it fit to adhere to the insincere advise you now deliver. As for your talk about Tinubu being the Leader of the ACN/APC, simply another lie that exposes your duplicity. It could be said that Okorocha, EL Rufai, Ribadu, Ngige, Utomi and many others are all faces and leader of the ACN/APC. Why not talk about them? Ulimately you, like many of your kind, are a small-minded cretin who can never discuss ideas and will always revert to default mode of obsessing over individuals. Besides, is it post APC that your ilk have been obsessed with Tinubu 24/7? Silly drifter. |
Story, story. I have been saying the truth since I could speak, and there is no truer truth than that Tinubu is a corrupt politician. He may have kept ACN alive single-handedly, good for him, but that doesn't change the facts. I noticed that all the people you mentioned are PDP guys . You are a very good party man. No wonder you supported Ribadu before and now it has to be Buhari even though Buhari was there last time. And for the PDP guys you mentioned, any proof? Hard evidence? Forget newspaper publication. That will not convict anyone in court.Do you now see what we've been saying all along? We make our judgements from the stories we hear, what we read, and what we can see for ourselves. I lived in Lag up until 2010, and I have been back there a couple of times since. I stay in touch also, so I ain't a stranger to Lagos politics. My allegiance is to the Nigerian people, and when I see young men willfully following corrupt politicians without thought and then claim they want the best for Naija, I can't help pointing out the hypocrisy. You guys should get your heads off Tinubu's a$$. If you have to follow someone, go with Fashola. He's a much better man. Lagos would have been much more developed today if Tinubu's greed isn't so insatiable. His lust for power is only second to Atiku's. That was why he couldn't decide where to stick his head in 2011, dilly-dallying from Buhari to Ribadu to Jonathan, all to no avail
Frankly, I should have expected this incoherent write-up because this is all you 'fence-sitters' and "neutrals" can produce. I.e a lot of populist rhetoric yet very little substance. The tired lines are the same of how everyone is corrupt and you don't represent anyone and are against all politicians. Go and import leaders from Mars then in your hollow idealism that has no practical use on the ground. I have not joined to proclaim anyone clean. Get your fact straight. My point is that Tinubu is no worse than anyone else to deserve the constant attention, often coming at the expense of the neglect of their own leaders, of those who have nothing to do with the SW or even Lagos like the OP. In fact, given what all Nigerian political leaders are, Tinubu can correctly be said to be the better devil, by far, than most - especially by those his political conducts affect directly. See my signature to note what I believe in. For efficacy and polity-secured progress, leaders should first be judged most passionately nd held to account by those they lead and those directly affected by the actions of these leaders. That is not the case on this forum and it is one of the reason Nigeria is failing i.e citizens unable to hold their direct leaders responsible yet have the energy to obsess about what/who should not concern them. We then have People like you just want to be liked and that is why you are only concerned with hollow, cheap, populist, childish yet ultimately worthless and impractical utterances that cannot serve Nigeria in any capacity whatsoever given the reality on the ground sensible Nigerians must work with. I bet you are the sort who sees no good in anything or anyone and never maturely looks at the reality of things yet vapidly sees himself a saint who can "make the difference". Yet where are you and what is your involvement? Is it too much for your sort to get involved and form a Party that will promote the ideology you tout? Or do you think Nigeria will see progress with 'saints' like you proclaiming everyone to be bad from afar? |
