philips70:Thank you. Education in Nigeria is currently teaching them to exploit and scam others while taking every opportunity, like a shyster lawyer, to exploit any 'grey area' to create elements of doubt and deliver 'open interpretation' deadlock over what is ordinarily simple and incontrovertible. This is how these criminal-minded elements disgrace Nigeria before they engage their brain to note that they have just revealed the dishonesty that guides their thoughts. When they call us scammers and fraudsters we will be up in arms yet look at how Nigerians talk fraudulently in cyberspace and in ways that suggest we are very intellectually dishonest and manipulative. One charlatan has already declared that NOI is asserting that 0.1% or 170,000.00 are corrupt. Conveniently and fraudulently, he touts this to equate the politicians in Nigeria. Yet how many employees does the NPF alone have? Customs and immigration nko? How are all the bombs, guns and foreign terrorists entering Nigeria easily if not for the corruption in those two government agencies? Do we dare talk about NPA, NNPC, the civil service, a Judiciary named one of the most corrupt in the entire world etc, etc , etc? My brother, we are in deep poo in so far as Nigeria is such a troubled land yet it is the citizens of the nation who keep saying "we dey kampe" when they should ordinarily be desperate for change, reform and progress. Why should any sane Nigerian back Okonjo-Iweala over this ridiculous and disgracefully dishonest utterance? |
ndobobo: Buncha Illiterates! You are the only illiterate I see here. NOI was asked a direct question about the corruption afflicting her Nation. Her response, addressing the specific issue of corruption, led to the assertion that "99.9% of Nigerians are honest". Spin all you want but it is obvious you are the illiterate you call others because you are trying to exploits semantics when context defeats your fraudulent argument flatly. Unless you want to suggest that NOI is 419ing Amanpour, then I think it is obvious Iweala , when directly taken to task about corruption, is saying that 99.9% of Nigerians are honest and therefore not involved with any corruption. There is a huge problem with corruption in your country. The president promised to address this stuff. And the latest is that an ally of his, a former governor who was convicted of stealing millions of dollars, has been pardoned, embezzling $55 million in public funds. |
Eze Promoe: This is one of the reasons Nigeria is lagging behind in technology. She said 99.9% not 100%, if 99.9% aren't corrupt, then the remaining 0.1% are corrupt. And 0.1% of 170 million is 170,000. In other words, 170,000 Nigerians are corrupt which the whole politicians in the country falls into this category. Is it not amazing how you people find creative ways to lie to yourselves simply because the defense of those you support sectionally, ethnically and politically take precedence in your reasoning? So only politicians are corrupt in your opinion? What a barefaced disgraceful lie. This is why Nigerians are regarded as fraudulent and dishonest. As a Nigerian who is under no obligation to engage in lying as NOI feels she has to do, I make bold to say it is probably closer to the truth to say at least 50% of Nigerians are corrupt !!! I just wonder why you people love lying to yourselves so much. Do you not realize , like a drug addict who will not admit he has a problem, solutions never comes when those who have a problem deny it? Do you think we can change Nigeria via deploying 419, as you do, instead of admitting we have a serious problem on our hand with how corruption is now disgracefully and detrimentally an accepted and even celebrated aspect of our societal living? I have gone through MMIA and been extorted from when I entered the airport to when I boarded the plane!!!!! Absolutely everyone was corrupt in that place. Whether it was Customs, narcotics inspectors, baggage checkers or even the Soldiers at the entrance, it is one open and brazen show of begging and corruption !!! Looking at society at large, with the reality on the ground, we see evidence that the likes of NOI have now fully joined the system of gradualism, lies, denial and deception killing Nigeria. What of those who man our important institutions? Are they politicians according to your Nigerians themselves hideously corrupt in so far as they pay bribe everywhere only to think they are disengaged from the whole corruption malaky via consoling themselves " It is the sytem and I am only doing what I have to do". People like you are the biggest enemies of Nigeria because you blame Politicians simplistically and routinely, as if they were shipped to Nigeria from Mars, while not interested in telling yourself and Nigerians the truth we all need to confront so we can individually re-orientate and reform ourselves for the better. You may think you are being smart with all this 419 cleverness deployed against those who don't bother to think for themselves but the truth is that your country is a cesspit of corruption and it is your sort of 'cleverness' , myopic foolishness in reality, that will continue to ensure it remains so. Nothing works anywhere while we go around deceiving ourselves and the entire world that "99.9% of Nigerians are not corrupt". NOI is a Politician now and she is expected to lie and engage in image laundering - even if such is somewhat ludicrous in this case. What is your excuse given the reality on the ground? The Nigerian police force alone has close to 400,000.00 members. We all know at least 70% of the NPF is corrupt. Go and now do the math again with your "only 170,000.00 Nigerians are corrupt" 419 delivered just to support the lie of NOI. Nonsense. |
cmespeak: You can't be involved in the discussion to stop killings of nigerians from yr own area, the north is being set back daily in resources and u say u can't help in stopping the violence there, nigerians that u want to jump up and rule in 2015 are being killed daily and u say u are not concerned as a former president, Mr Buhari u must be a wicked man to say this.If the whole northern nigeria is totally razed down don't 4get u live there u will die also. If u know those that are part of the problem come out and say yr bit, u can't cme and say those that were part of the problem in the niger delta solved the problem, these were concerned rulers and nigerians that stepped into the fracas and put a stop to it.Many examples vindicates Buhari's hesitance to involve himself with something sensible folks know is the 'baby' of the PDP. Did some not warn Ribadu not to take the assignment from GEJ? How has that ended if not as a waste of Ribadu's time? Is it now not clear, as many claimed, that the ultra-deceitful government of GEJ simply wanted to use Ribadu's reputation to 'weather' a rough patch after the end of the very bitter fuel subsidy protests? Is it now not obvious GEJ is the cause of the problem with how he has dumped the Ribadu report and ignored the transformational recommendation that are entirely within his powers to implement? Now GEJ and his PDP buddies have created Boko Haram yet people like you insist on frog-marching Buhari to the front of the queue of those, in your mind, "duty-bound" to deliver solutions so that he can suffer Ribadu's fate also. WHat happened to Azazi who bravely named the PDP? Abeg tell us. Buhari man , given the undoubted history of deceit and duplicity of the GEJ government, is telling you rightly that he cannot solve a problem he does not understand the origin of and you are castigating him unfairly for that correct stance. Why should folks with good names involve themselves with the madness sponsored by the PDP? If Buhari gets involved, only for the real sponsors to get mad at his "intrusion" and order more bombings, you will be first to say Buhari did not get his way and decided to unleash more mayhem. Buhari cannot win with people like you. Never. Instructive you do not concede the culpability of GEJ and his evil Party before you promote Buhari into the high seat of 'adjudicator' peace or lack of it depends on. You are busy calling Buhari wicked yet an honest person knows that GEJ and his Party affiliates like Atiku, Ciroma, Sambo et al are the personification of wickedness. |
thegoodjoehunt: The Presidency just fell to an all time low with this press release. You are stating the real truth some Nigerians are too sectionally blind to appreciate. Another "first of its kind" for Nigeria i.e our President confesses who the "major sponsor" of terror is yet will get on a podium with said person tomorrow, amidst smiles and back-slapping, to co-host a National event. Shameless Nation. When we are not being the aberration that grants a suspected terror sponsor indefinite bail (Senator Ndume) ,while Okah was detained throughout his trial and eventually jailed in SA, you will find Nigeria to be the Nation where corruption/graft trial (Bankole, Gbenga Daniel, Alao Akala) last many, many years with no conclusive end. It is Nigeria that a member of the Presidents economic team (Otedola) turns James Bond all for the purpose of getting off those who committed the crime yet get the luxury of pretending to be bringing "culprits" to justice. Abeg, the list of nefarious 'firsts' is too long under this ultra-incompetent example of a leader. We should prepare for Okupe to announce that David Cameron and Barrack Obama are envious of the leadership ability of GEJ. |
osifred: I like Buhari but however you look @ it him is guilty for this one. Please think outside the box and be fair to the man if you are indeed honest about your claim of "liking" Buhari. What condemnation of Boko Haram do you want from Buhari when he is probably convinced, like many of us, that Boko Haram is now a cynical tool the murderous members of the "nest of killers" (PDP) are now using to fight and frustrate each other? Why should Buhari join his name with something the PDP is currently the major sponsor of and remain the only entity capable of ending? How can Buhari conclusively bring PDP-sponsored chaos to an end? Why will folks like you never honestly , and as upright and genuinely fair folks, face what has been revealed about the association between Boko Haram and the PDP? GEJ, Okupe et al are simply dishonest and callous men who wish to drag Buhari's name into the mess their Party created and that they are powerless and/or scared to confront. The whole 'divide-and-rule' tactics is simply to cash in on the ethno-religious differences of Nigerians, currently heightened dangerously, via giving a dog a bad name to hang it. GEJ and Okupe know that this attempt to distractingly mention Buhari will go down well with the religious and ethnic bigotry of many in the South while they divert attention away from the real sponsors and killers who are their Party affiliates and pals. |
Shedysworld: The president is just been considerate. From your write up it simply shows you are staying in the south and you've not seen the kind of hell the "strangers" pass through, if Jonathan decides to arrest Buhari now Jonathan has nothing to loose and infact he'll probably be applauded, again where Jonathan is he can't be touched (security wise) so he has no fear of arresting Buhari, but the "strangers" staying in the north will feel the heat. So you as a president will rather take accolades than having your entire citizens safety at heart (bro expand your horizon of thinking pls and think like a leader)Take your own advice first. Do you realise what you are saying? So the solution is to leave so-called "major sponsors" of terror running around totally free to conduct the mass murder of Nigeria because of "strangers" in the North? It is the President you worship who needs to think and act like a leader for once because his deliberate inaction, occasioned by innate weakness, opportunism and callousness, will precipitate the destruction of Nigeria. Nigeria is one major reprisal (it could be MEND, MASSOB, OPC et al) away from sinking into Somalia. The world is watching GEJ's poor leadership, over every aspect of governance, in total amazement. This is why non-Nigerian observers are departing from established diplomacy to be be coming out in strong condemnation of the actions of GEJ. Wake up and smell the Coffee bruv. There is no excuse for a President to lamely announce knowing a "major sponsor" of the terror threatening to sink Nigeria while the world sees no appropriate action to bring this sponsor to book. Better to say nothing at all than embarrass Nigeria via showing it is close to Somalia and other failed State where constituted authority is totally neutered, impotent and not in charge. |
ckkris: Alhaji Gbawe writes like an academic lecturer of Political Science who cannot politically win an election as a rural mayor.Let us put our differences aside for a minute. Is it right for Nigerians, whatever our affiliations, to indulge or even support a Government that says it knows those sponsoring the death of our fellow citizens yet fails to do anything to bring those folks to book and preserve Nigerian lives and property? How is this deplorable situation ever to end if we all fall for the lame argument that sponsors of terror are 'untouchable'? Would it not be better, If GEJ is sincere and truly 'hampered' as some suggest, for the Presidency to say nothing at all? With this false accusation against Buhari, what is GEJ hoping to achieve when he is still ultimately responsible and empowered, above all others, to initiate actions against those who threaten the peace and progress of Nigeria? Can you not see that this Presidency is disgracing Nigeria with its antics? The only way non-Nigerians will interpret this is via seeing GEJ as a 9-feet tall giant holding a very sharp 5-feet long blade and facing a little Rabbit. Yet the giant insists on running away from the Rabbit barely 1.5 feet high !!! |
We can see how your clueful and intelligent APC/ACN led by a very honest and hardworking Tinubu will address the problem. He is already advocating amnesty to BH. Oh!, i almost forgot...one of your party leaders once said that BH will vanish in i think 3 months 'if' your party wins the presidency. Those are strong and wonderful position of your party and leaders, comparable to that of the Obamas and McCains of this world. You and your party are indeed wonderful people, who love Nigerians and extremely clean that they visited Borno to mediate in the problem the last time. You, Gbawe is a labelled hypocrite who dwells on misinformation and lies. You also are the resident bigot who does not even care if Nigeria is on fire as long as it helps your party to power. You, Gbawe, should be ashamed of yourself for exploiting people's woes for narrow gains.
Dishonest sycophant, your spin is not working any longer. It is obvious to sensible Nigerians GEJ is a callous mediocrity and empty-barrel only focused on his own ambition and pocket. It is disgraceful how non-Nigerians now routinely and openly call GEJ's competence into question today while sycophant like you are here attempting shameful and ultimately futile 'damage limitation'. Ask him to arrest and prosecute Buhari or get lost. |
Shedysworld: Some times we get this issue wrong and we just believe this government is clueless. This is the aim of this northerners to distabilize this government, have you guys have an afterthought of what is going to happen if Buhari is arrested? The North will simply go into their normal rioting with the claim that they have been cheated again, now what will be the fate of your brothers and sisters staying in the north? simply put many lives will be lost again... So u see why buhari is still walking the street a free manLet me get you right. The Presidency cannot arrest Buhari because the North will riot. Yet the President of the biggest black nation is right to take an approach that makes him appear like the biggest coward and most impotent punk on earth? Ask yourself if this approach of GEJ can be entertained in any serious nation of the world i.e the most powerful elected representative of the people , who controls the armed forces and vast resources of a nation, being an impotent hostage (according to people like you) of a "sponsor of terror" who is not hiding in Caves but moving freely in Nigeria and even rubbing shoulders with Mr.President at State functions. Pathetic. Look into what you are comforting yourself with and tell me you are not admitting Nigeria is a failed State with an impotent puppet as President. |
nairaman66: Misplaced priorities from Okupe! Everything he said is based on assumptions!!Based on lies more like. It is truly shocking how all those in camp GEJ are cut from the same cloth as Mr.President i.e spineless, unprincipled, corrupt and devoted to frivolities and a a highly petty 'them against us' approach to politics. It is never about these charlatans getting to work and always about blaming others, usually outside government, for their own clueless and indolent approach to governance. I can only assume all we are seeing stems from a deliberate operational policy of GEJ consisting of him finding 'like-minded' individuals who are totally unprincipled, hideously deceptive and completely devoted to politics of acrimony, rancour and 'divide-and-conquer' that allows the free money to flow. These people, i.e GEJ and all those he has surrounded himself with, believe in nothing and lack even average ability. They only know how to tear down and destroy while disgracing the image of the nation as they are doing currently. |
What evidence do they have apart from the statement he made regarding making the country ungovernable?! Let the FG go ahead and provide evidences that Buhari is the major sponsor, and subsequently do the right thing .... Daft Government led by a dumbo and advised by nitwits ..... They claim to know about a problem and yet, they cant make the necessary step to solve the problem Nonsense!
This is my point precisely. Of course me and you know Buhari is not a "major sponsor" of Boko Haram as the Presidency claims. We should all not forget that this is a Presidency that has been proven as frivolously deceptive and dishonest. A Presidency that lies glibly and with total ease. What would be easier than for them to move beyond their patronising accusation and arrest Buhari immediately as would be done anywhere else in the world? |
Why not simply arrest him and deliver justice? Why leave an identified "major sponsor" free for even one second thus endangering more Nigerian lives? What manner of Presidency is this for god sake? Where else in the World would one see this kind of attention-seeking petty drama and show of impotence this shameless Presidency is embroiling itself in instead of leading robustly and effectively? What a disgrace to Nigeria. |
Sincere 9gerian: Someone who does not know there's a huge difference between internal and external terrorism is a CLUELESS MENTALLY INCAPACITATED FOOL.
You don't even know the difference between internal and external terrorism and you are boldly advertising your ignorance? OK, lets just say that we should compare Iraq and USA, since according to your logic, they are all facing the same problem - terrorism.
Why can't you guys, for once, give the nauseating spin a break. Many now know and recognise your modus operandi that is always limited to a cheap attempt at exploiting technicalities and grey areas to obfuscate very simple issues so that the mediocrity you support is spared the scrutiny he deserves and would rightly get in serious nations with politically sophisticated folks who simply want peace and progress for their Country. Everybody knows precisely what the OP is talking about even if you two want to embarrass yourselves as usual. Obama has taken action and we will see results. Very different to your clueless oga who limits his own 'action' to pathetically and weakly accusing Buhari of being a "major sponsor of Boko Haram" yet the former head of State is walking around freely. You guys truly have no shame. Better to say nothing than show up here. GEJ has disgraced Nigeria. Show us a nation where a President , like a market gossip and impotent hack, is busy throwing accusations back and forward without the gumption to act on the careless and immature accusation emanating from his office. It would be better for the Presidency to say nothing rather than show the world it is lead by a weak and highly unprincipled man with no commitment to doing the right thing. There is Never actions from GEJ , against the head of the Snake i.e the sponsors of terror, yet always talk, rhetoric, empty accusation, impotence and platitude. A woeful leader supported by aberrantly garbage supporters. You two should go and ask GEJ to take out Buhari and stop at least one "major sponsor of Boko Haram" as he claims. Stop patronising folks here with your rotten product nobody wants to buy. This is a very clear-cut issue. You two simply have no shame at all. After what the President stated below, what should be the next step if the mediocrity you worship is even a shadow of a real leader? Even for sycophancy, there should be a level decent people retreat from. http://news.naij.com/31068.html Buhari Is Boko Haram’s Major Sponsor – Presidency |
benlay: It's not poor education, they are just wicked and lack conscience. They know what's right but they won't do it.Not true. Robust education, the sort that impacts on emotional intelligence, affects even the ability to be compassionate and to empathise with others. Education is barely functional in Nigeria in that it will, simplistically, teach you to read, write and cram to pass exams but miss out on developing the man into a creature innately able to get the very best out of his environment. We see a reflection of this in every facet of Nigerian life. Whether it is politics, Agriculture or even Nollywood. Fashola is talking about the sort of education that leads us to devise inspired and innovative solutions to improve how man lives optimally in his environment. |
Here we go again. The display of the functional illiteracy Fashola hints at. Is it only 32 States? Tukur should say PDP will win 38 States out of 36. Why won't Dinosaurs like Tukur, in their detached Ivory Tower, not talk so inanely when they are disconnected from reality. |
d light: hey Gbawe don't drag us into any tribal conflict here I'm yoruba too but while making arguments you need to be realistic you know what the economic status of your state is like but only trying to put up a defence for that noise makers party who claim to be progressives but are not do you care to know what the performances of your ACN governors are in states like Oyo, Ekiti, Ogun as well only that of Lagos and Edo are really working that is why Ondo state don't find them reliable enough to vote forLook, why is it so difficult for you guys to do facts, statistics and figures? With all due respect, this is what Fashola is talking about in relation to how poor quality education is creating mediocre leaders who cannot lead Nigeria out of the morass she finds herself in. We are talking about the work Aregbesola has done, validated by the FBS, to deliver tangibles and real economically quantifiable progressive indices that impact poverty (employment, increased State income, diversified economic activities, social pension scheme for the elderly, etc) and you are here mentioning Oyo, Ekiti and Ogun extraneously instead of sticking to the topic under discussion. If you have anything to say directly in relation to the topic , even if negative, say it with facts and stick to the substantive subject under discussion. Don't use a topic about Osun reducing poverty to entertain your bias with irrelevantly tangential submissions. Deal with the topic exclusively if you can. The last sentence in bold is ridiculous. Are you suggesting that the ACN can/should depose a performing Governor to prove a point to you about the "reliability" of the ACN? If you are happy with your mortgage/utility provider does that mean a good mortgage/utility company, satisfactorily meeting the needs of many, suddenly becomes discredited because they failed to make you leave your provider to join them? Fashola is far more correct about education than he thinks. The very poor reasoning on this forum, that is the norm rather than the exception, proves the Lagos Governor correct. |
Gbawe defend yourself o. I'm not accusing you of peddling lies, but you should confirm osundefender articles from a second or third source before posting, otherwise you stand to ridicule your good name. Those guys are a propaganda news site.
Defend myself against who exactly? When decent folks engage me I will respond. I won't respond to rabid bigots who are only known for their hatred of anything SW here to the extent they are literally always the ones foaming at the mouth, on any issue to do with the SW, over so-called propaganda. Is it Kettyking I should lower myself responding to when he has exposed himself here for what he is after the initial pretence. Who writes the garbage he does below and gains the response of sensible people? This is not all about crime this about talking the least poverty rate when in actual case Osun is driven by an Indian Hemp EconomyOr is is the vile bigot freeglobe, now pretending to be a woman, you want me to get in the gutter with? Folks like that belong in the gutter because it is their home and all classy/sensible posters will do well to avoid those irritants who add no value here and only disturb the forum with the indoctrinated hatred they carry about for others 24/7. As for asking me to provide other sources, you can find information for yourself if your agenda is not one of sly mischief and partisan 'devils advocate'. If I don't respond to some here never assume it is because I cannot back whatever I bring here. It is not everyone that deserves a response otherwise I would expect you in a motor-park daily to be fighting illiterate drug-addicted agberos with no formal education whatsoever. Hope you are happy with the Punch? http://www.punchng.com/news/sokoto-katsina-top-list-of-poor-states/ Sokoto, Katsina top list of poor states |
FreeGlobe: Since you don't want to respect yourself I will disgrace you further. What is this?Only jobless fools who have not got you worked out will engage in any back and forth with you. |
As usual, totally expected turn of events. Submissions from the Federal bureau of statistics put a SW State as haven made significant progress yet guess the folks who are foaming rabidly at the mouth and tearing their own hair out in disagreement when issues should not concern them let alone trouble them. Pathetic. |
moodswing: I disagree. Goodluck Jonathan is educated yet he he's about to grant Boko Haram Amnesty.Goodluck Jonathan, much as it pains me to say so as a Nigerian, is not an example of an 'exception' that dispels Fashola's conclusion. GEJ, rather, is validation of what Fashola is saying precisely. I don't know many contemporary leaders as unintelligent-sounding as GEJ is. I don't know many who are so lacking in the basic/routine leadership skills, at the level GEJ is operating at, as our President embarrassingly is. A bit like saying one is a professional footballer when one cannot even kick a ball properly !!!! Frankly, I am sure his peers , worldwide, joke privately over what GEJ's PHD reveals about Nigerian education. Regarding Obama and his stance on gay rights, poor contextual example. Irrelevant actually. You are simply letting your personal opinion sway you against what is inevitable and must be planned for. You cannot conclude the support for homosexuality or the rigid rejection of it as being related to education or the lack of it. You cannot conclude Obama is 'uneducated' because he backs gay rights. Rather, I think Obama accepts that Gays are here to stay. We either accommodate them or keep being driven by the sort of ego that never gets things done and can leave humanity, as is the case with Africa, unprepared for the future and inevitably/inadvertently preparing itself for future headache because of today's myopia. In fact, it would not be unusual for rabidly pro-Gay activists to argue it is you who displays lack of education with homophobia that is fast becoming the equivalent of a 1979 suitcase phone in 2013. there should be a middle ground of 'live and let live' in my opinion. |
kettykings: This is good newsWhy are you so disinclined to do even the most basic research for yourself? |
Well done to Aregbesola. Excellent turn-around for a State written off as a "no-hoper" after PDP pillaging. Even the most rabid of Aregbesola hater has to give it up since brutal statistics is concurring that, despite the lies and slander campaign, the man is working. Apparently better than almost all Governors in Nigeria. Keep up the good work Ogbeni. http://www.osundefender.org/?p=84294 Osun, the second best of the least poverty state in Nigeria – FBS |
Fashola is right somewhat. The case can be meritoriously argued that the Nigerian education is no longer one geared towards producing solution providers. Leaders can only come from the pool of "educated" Nigerians the Country has at its disposal. Obviously this will not apply empirically as there will be exception but if one looks at the big picture whereby a country is churning out mediocre thinkers, almost as standard, then it is obvious that the few brilliant and analytical thinkers may not make a difference unless deliberately protected and empowered to do so in the arena of mediocrity Nigerian leadership is - an attendant product of an education system that is not developing those who troubleshoot effectively and deliver solutions inspirationally and innovatively. |
Tusky44: I think Fasheun mean well for yorubas hence he is reviving UPN. Is it not normal that we encourage freedom of association? He already has over 6 million yoruba youth and he now wants to register a party to accommodate them.People like you are annoyingly, or perhaps deliberately, mixing issues up. You are hiding behind the whole "constitutional right" and "freedom of association" garbage as if that is what this is about. You ignore the salient point of Fasehun going around, suddenly, as if he is the messiah of the SW. How does Fasehun mean well for the SW by attacking the Party that rescued the region from the brutality and gangsterism of the PDP while him and others could not muster the brave, organised and very costly effort to do that? Left to those who have rhetoric as the only tool in their armoury, will the SW still not be under PDP brigandage today? No one says Fasehun cannot have a problem with the ACN or that every Yoruba person must sympathise with the ACN. The bone of contention you cannot understand is that Fasehun can form his Party without making the ACN his enemy. When he does that when there is no need for it, then people will wonder about his intentions. It is the same divide-and-conquer routine insincere leaders, especially when they have been compromised or are seeking something, have always used devastatingly well against ordinary Nigerians. Why does a UPN revival has to be one piggybacking on fraudulent character assassination against others? Fasehun should do his thing and offer a credible opposition if he can and stop looking to make enemies of the wrong entity just to gain popularity for his new mission. If the ACN does not think of Yoruba welfare then who does? Him? The PDP? |
skyfall: Hear him: “We haveMy brother, they are very wicked and devilish people. Are they not the very same demons murdering Nigerians like Chickens through Boko Haram? What description is more apt than that Wole Soyinka tagged them with i.e "nest of killers"? Especially in the SW, the PDP has been nothing short of the personification of heartlessness, brutality and callousness. The region cannot be utopia overnight but those who remember the dark days will surely appreciate the changes and improvements of today. |
I don't understand what all the tantrum is about. The man has a right to form his political party, abi? So what is the problem? If I understand it clearly, he came out to announce forming UPN and Lai Mohammed immediately pounced on him and lied about him receiving a contract. You don't expect him to keep quiet, do you? So what if he exaggerates a bit about ACN. Fact is Tinubu is a billionaire today through corrupt means. He tried as governor, but he also ripped the state off. Same with Fashola. No one is saying the SW isn't better off than it would have been under PDP. But that's only because we have very low expectations from our leaders. They certainly could have done a whole lot more. So you guys should stop howling and crying. I doubt the man even has enough money to make the party viable sef. Tinubu and ACN have long excluded him from the largesse so he's looking for a way to hammer too
Please take your wahala elsewhere because the part in bold shows mischief and open bias glaringly. It seems you do not read what others write before you rush to quote them. I can only put it down to your being driven by bias and a sectional agenda. Show where, in my post, I display "tantrum" over Fasehun forming a political Party as you claim. Point to where I have a "problem" with Fasehun for any political plans he has. I specifically tackled his assertion that the ACN "doesn't think of Yoruba welfare". That is a ridiculous and fraudulent statement, all things taken into account, that could only have come from a 'tool'. |
The Abati-rization of another hungry mercenary who had erstwhile pretended he stood for something. One of the biggest problem of Nigeria is that Nigerians lack political sophistication to see issues clearly. This is why some folks, after their pockets has swelled with Aso Rock dollars, can come and throw Bananas in the arena Monkeys will then fight over. No one is saying the ACN is a Party of saints but for Fasehun to say the Party does not care about Yoruba welfare is the biggest clue that this guy is now a compromised tool just like Abati. Any sensible and honest Yoruba person, to include those who hate the ACN, will agree the SW is much better under the Party than it was under the PDP. It is as simple and as straightforward as that for those who are not liars or into fraudulent revisionism. At the end of the day, GEJ has come and he will go. Fasehun should mind he does not become another OBJ i.e a pariah very much detested and despised in his own region of abode because of mercenary, self-serving and treacherous conduct. |
Museni: Summary please?GEJ said Amaechi has bad breath after Ameachi claimed that GEJ walks like a Duck. |
