FFK, you are a disgrace. At least Amaechi is brave and stands by his conviction unlike you. You are a cheap and unprincipled turncoat prostitute available to the highest bidder. Only Nigeria can accommodate your kind and it is even a big disgrace to our nation that you have an official voice, linked to the ruling Party of the biggest black nation on earth, after all you have said and done. |
You need to ask? Buhari of course !!! Obama is even campaigning for Buhari directly with his latest jab of "President Jonathan runs an ineffective government". |
oyb:Indeed. Speaks volume about the lack of political sophistication of Nigerians. Nigerians, over this sordid affair, should be vehemently demanding the removal of GEJ, Fayose, Momoh et al. Instead GEJ is busy plotting to get Obanikoro confirmed as a Minister while Fayose is stalking Buhari malevolently all over the world. Nigeria is a huge joke abeg. |
Dannyset:I wonder about this as well. Anywhere else in the world and this would be the sort of scandal that topples a government. In Nigeria, it is as if this did not even happen. We are a long way from gaining a country that works even in the most fundamental sense. |
queensmith:Indeed. Impotent and cowardly Koro should pursue saharareporters and Sowore to the US if he dares. Him and GEJ will only be disgraced and exposed as guilty of election rigging. This is why all their threats has now ended with this pathetic letter. |
Koro the impotent and cowardly time waster. Shior. |
http://saharareporters.com/2015/02/21/obanikoro-backs-down-sends-warning-letter-saharareporters-instead Obanikoro Backs Down, Sends Warning Letter To SaharaReporters Instead |
oyb:100% correct. Even the self-serving USA wants GEJ out at all cost. The reality is that GEJ could create a big problem for the world if he makes Nigeria fail totally. This is a scenario even the enemies of Nigeria do not want to contemplate. The world, even if for selfish reasons, need Nigeria to be 'sane' again ASAP and the belief is that Buhari , all things taken into consideraton, can help make this happen. I think Jonathan and his supporters, as Laurent Gbagbo did, will learn that a nation, when the time is right, is greater than an individual and his interests. |
ilugunboy:100% correct. We can all look at the almost complete decimation of the PDP at the polls in the SW, during the 2011 election, to appreciate this. I think these desperate PDP effort comes too late for many SW folks. The Yorubas want you to be an 'omoluabi' always and not pretending to be one few weeks to an election when you were an 'omo ale' for 5 years before that. |
doctokwus:This is my view also and I find it absolutely astounding , after all GEJ has done, that some Nigerians still fool themselves he "means well" for Nigeria. Nigeria is now the biggest example of a nation with a considerable number of people who worship their vile oppressors. Fela got it spot on when he coined the "suffering and smiling" yarn. |
ilugunboy:My brother, believe me when I say the international community is appalled at the thought of having to work with GEJ for another 4 years. He is seen as a very dangerous 'weak link' who is compromising the system horribly. Buhari's working trip to the UK comes as a result of overtures to a President-in-waiting the west understand the highly "ineffective" (according to Obama) and terrorist-friendly PDP is trying to frustrate. Remember Obama despatched Kerry to Nigeria to warn GEJ against election postponement because the world already knows the impotent, corrupt and incompetent GEJ wants to 'sit tight'? Even Ban Ki-Moon, UN secretary-general, has warned Nigeria not to postpone elections beyond the set date of 28th of March and 11th of April. I think the bottom line is that GEJ and his crew messed up horrendously and they appreciate they are in danger of not having a 'friendly hand' to take over and ignore their atrocities as has always been the case since the PDP began leading Nigeria in 1999. GEJ and co know the game is up but they don't want to end up like Laurent Gbagbo. |
ilugunboy:To be honest, not many are currently behind Jonathan. The election postponement only serves to accentuate the clamour for the dismissal of the ultra-awful Presidency of GEJ. I think it is all over for GEJ when Obama can try, close to the Nigerian general election, to prejudice opinion by announcing that "President Jonathan runs an ineffective government". This is a 'death sentence' announcement which means GEJ, already 'dead' in Nigeria, has virtually no allies abroad. He is a monumental failure whose position has now become untenable because his continuation in power represents huge danger for so many people and nations. |
omenka:Don't mind these unexposed fools who do not appreciate how things work worldwide. If APC published a "fake" picture of Buhari with a 'brand' like Blair then we would already know by now with multiple lawsuits initiated by the fattest law firms and lawyers in the universe. Tony Blair, if the images were doctored, would be the first to deny the picture vehemently because that development would compromise his brand image massively. I blame the PDP for turning Nigerians into adults who reason like children in comparison to their international compatriots. |
I am so ashamed of 'jeun jeun' Yorubas like Odumakin. How can any sane person support this President who has run Nigeria into the ground with sheer incompetence, mind-boggling corruption, elitist 'pocketing' of Nigeria and anti-people misrule? These "stomach infrastructure" fools should be ashamed of themselves. Another issue for these sad elements like Odumakin, Gani Adams et al is the sheer envy of Tinubu and his lofty position none of them have been able to attain. They absolutely hate that Tinubu is perceived as one of the most powerful and influential Political leaders of the Yorubas everyone takes seriously while they are not. They will side with evil if that helps to prevent Tinubu becoming stronger and more influential in their myopic perception. Tinubu has his issues but he is unlike these petty and small-minded Yoruba irritants because he sees the big picture and understand that issues remain about the common man and the need to give back to him and secure his future. If the likes of Odumakin understood this then they will not be praise-singing a 'destroyer' of Nigerians like GEJ. Surely the children of Odumakin and others like him, if sensible, will be disgusted with their fathers. |
amakaobiemeka:Jonathan has reduced us to dust in the international community. His position is untenable and PDP is merely wasting time and resources. |
The UK Nigerian diasporan community, of which I am one, is entirely for Buhari. Folks can forget the lies of TANdroid mercenaries. There is no support for GEJ in the UK. None at all. It is all Buhari. |
Goddex:That is what you are reduced to? Pathetic. See how you guys in bondage inadvertently sing and dance for your oppressors when you should dump them and seek others who can let you attain the dignity and choice others enjoy worldwide? My mobile phone contract (UK telecom provider) is around £18 per month (around N6,500.00) and gives me unlimited browsing, unlimited calls and unlimited text. I can do whatever I want on the go any day of the week from my own private line anywhere in the UK. How will you ever get such cost-effective empowerment that will allow you to be a more productive human being and greater human capital asset for your nation when the PDP you support ensures telecoms providers will never offer greater value because of high cost of operation? Any company operating in Nigeria will automatically levy Nigerians heavily for the diesel they spend to power their operation and deduct 'rough terrain' tax from whatever they supply. This is why I laugh at you blind supporters of GEJ. You have no exposure beyond "suffering and smiling" Nigeria to know how bad you have it and how pathetically oppressed you are. They fleece you and you guys simply embrace more corruption and 'wayo' to try and afford what should be the very basics any dignified human being should enjoy. Yet you continue to sing and dance for your oppressors of 16 years who will keep you as you are even if they have 80 years in charge of Nigeria. Sad. Very sad and I feel sorry for you. |
IbnSultaan:Bruv, there may not be any joy in defeat for GEJ. He may be heading to prison because I am sure he is complicit in treason, the death of Nigerians and destructive corruption. Let us call a spade a spade. Jonathan has destroyed Nigeria too much to expect a soft landing. This why, fo him and his crew, it is "anyone but Buhari". Did you not see how fat "bastard" Okupe was shouting , almost at the point of exploding, that "Buhari will never rule this Country"? When have you see that anywhere else in the world? I.e a mere spokesperson losing his composure totally to be saying who will lead or not lead a nation? They all have serious blood and crime on their hand and they will do whatever it takes to prevent Buhari becoming President. |
nwachukwu7:Is Buhari's working trip to the UK over? The man only arrived in the UK yesterday. Why not wait to see all he meets/does while there before talking hastily if you are truly an objective Nigerian who "prayed" for the APC to be a "formidable opposition"? |
kglamour:I said it yesterday that Buhari will feel the love in the UK from the Nigerian/African diasporan community. Is it those of us who take electricity, decent healthcare, quality education, comparatively high standards of living, good road/transport infrastructure, security and peace for granted that will support Jonathan and the PDP who have been unable to provide those basics in 16 years for our fellow Nigerians? |
SirShymexx:Spot on. It is a disgrace that the biggest black nation on earth has a discredited misruler like GEJ as its leader. |
An an aside, my respect grows for Amosun. He is one performing politician who has carried the Buhari project on his head far more than others. He is almost always visible and present anywhere Buhari is since the General won the APC primaries in Lagos. Good to note Amosun is a man of conviction. Change2015:Kudos. A Nairalander who gets the big picture. Why, close to the Nigerian general election, would Obama come out to say "President Jonathan runs an ineffective government"? TANdroids can continue to fool themselves. The reality is that Nigerians want to vote GEJ out and the world wants to do everything to assist us get our way. |
briefness:It is because they have no genuine friends and allies anywhere. The West is openly supporting APC and the dismissal of GEJ from Aso Rock. Obama is not even hiding his support of the APC. He has turned campaign manager of the APC with his attacks on GEJ the latest being the announcement that "President Jonathan runs an ineffective government". The efforts of the PDP can be seen as the final wild actions of a dying political dynasty. As history as shown us, things end in tears for those who fail to see the writing on the wall. |
Thanks Rawani. PDP saTANists , and enemies of Nigeria's progress, over to you . The vile PDP , full of misruling mercenaries, will never understand that Buhari is on a mission to rescue Nigeria. They will never accept that he is not like them and has no interest in ten airplanes, Bugattis, Ferraris, £15,000 Gucci suits and $2 million mansions in every nation of the world. |
halimaabi:Learn the difference between dare and "dear" before you come here to disturb the peace. Jobless olodo. |
jomoh:Indeed. I am sure not a single western nation is in support of GEJ today because they know that the sort of incompetences he has shown, which has caused many thousands to die and ruined millions of lives, is the sort that must be brought to an end as soon as possible. |
kheart:Continue to be calm, peaceful and untroubled. Do not worry . We shall get rid of GEJ and his marauders. "Amandla Awetu" (power to the people) will liberate Nigeria as has been the case worldwide through the history of mankind. PDP did not get the memo but Nigerians will show them that we too deserve to have the basics others have taken for granted for many decades now. |
p3ndy79:This is exactly what I stated recently. Nigerians are determined to vote GEJ out because they, and they alone, know where the shoe pinches. How can propaganda achieve anything with citizens who are dying needlessly and are in horrible discomfort? All our talk here is even only because most of us are well-fed and relatively privileged in comparison to the average Nigeria . Our average compatriots have it far worse even if the wicked and selfish fans of GEJ refuse to see and acknowledge this. Imagine that the very best electricity supply Nigerians can count on is about 8 hours a day on average? When you consider that many rural areas are not even connected to the national power grid and are yet to experience electricity since we became a sovereign nation then you begin to appreciate the wickedness of man towards his fellow man. Nigerians know how GEJ has let them down because they wear the shoes of pain 24/7. The praise-singers of GEJ , because they are enemies of progress, are only deluding themselves about the inevitable outcome of things which is that Nigerians are ready to reject he grossly misruling GEJ any time elections are held. |
p3ndy79:My belief too. This is a man who said nothing, absolutely nada, about the Chibok girls for two weeks while the entire Universe agitated for the return of those girls. He totally abandoned those girls as he abandoned the many thousands of Nigerians who have now being killed by Boko Haram. We are to suddenly believe, given GEJ's deplorable nd self-serving antcedent, that this 'new drive' is anything other than an attempt at 'sit-tight' politics and an attempt for GEJ and his crew to ensure a soft landing for themselves? When has GEJ ever shown he values Nigerian lives? When? It is just sad that some choose to be dishonest and revisionist over what we have all had the displeasure to witness over the past five years GEJ has been President. |
p3ndy79:Indeed. It is then very difficult to accept this impending rejection, especially because Buhari is the incoming President , since this will mean an uncompromising probe of all their activities. Since the beginning of our fourth republic in 1999 this is the first time there is a risk, for a PDP President, that power may fall into 'unfriendly hands'. PDP Presidents since 1999 (OBJ, Yar Adua and now Jonathan) do what they want in power because of the belief they will never be held accountable for their actions since they assume their Party, by hook or by crook, will always retain power and offer the 'customary protection' one outgoing PDP President can automatically expect from an incoming PDP colleague. Now, and for the first time, this 'arrangement' is seriously threatened by the emergence of Buhari and the belief majority of Nigerians have in him. The fear of the PDP establishment is palpable. They will therefore do anything to ensure it is "anyone but Buhari". |
