The OP is a kid. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has received 1.5 billion oil deal between Oando Plc and ConocoPhillips in the upstream sector from the present administration.

The meeting of Tinubu with OBJ was to present OBJ as the major opposition to Atiku's presidency. Buhari is just another pun the game of political chess of this country.

As for the little rabbits called Cramkjokes, Berem and Gbawe they dont know anything about the inner workings of APC as an instrument for bargaining by the Lion of Bourdillon, I laugh at you all who think that APC can win Aso Rock, because the death of APC came the day the stalwarts assaulted Tinubu.

Tinubu has already been bought, any other fight against presidency is just a make-belief. You can take this to the bank and cash from the ATMs of common-sense. Time will prove this right, as always. The winner of 2015 is already known. His name is Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Azikiwe.

You keep talking like a lunatic because of the blind and unobjective hatred of others. A Party would have had the chance to lead a nation at the centre before a sane person can proclaim it failed. When has APC led Nigeria at the centre for even a day, let alone the 16 years the PDP has had, for you to claim "APC has failed Nigerians as well"? Are you Okay at all? It is not every time you must comment. If you have nothing sensible to say just shut up !!!!!!

Buhari is an exceptional person with lots of followers
Very true. Nigerians should take a clue from how well he did in 2011 against GEJ with relatively no support and very limited funding on the platform of the CPC which was virtually a brand new political Party at the time. People mention his past defeats in 2007 and 2003 also without realising that Buhari had a mountain to climb back then as a very principled man trying to go it alone. Today, with the considerable might and finance of the biggest opposition Party in Nigeria behind him then I think even the usually dull and cretinous Jonathanians see the obvious and this is why they are trembling and shouting "APC should present Fashola" up and down.

If the PDP manage the internal election process well and Buhari emerges without serious rancour , which mean other powerful and wealthy candidates willingly fall in line behind Buhari, then the APC will be more than good to go.

Indeed. I am not a fan of Alams. Far from it. Yet some of the comments here are really insensitive and I warn those who have no kids to refrain from attacking this boy on account of his father. You don't know what your future holds. You may make a serious mistake. Would you want your children lynched for this or for others to be callously celebrating their death because of something you did? The young man is not the source of the pain and frustration of Nigerians. I stand to be corrected but I assume he has never been elected to any public office in Nigeria.

Nigerians should stop being cowards and learn to hold their direct leaders to account instead of extending hatred to everyone connected to those misrulers and looter. Confront the thieves and looters today to insist they lead you well or leave. Go to their homes and offices. They are the ones stealing and disbursing your money to others. Don't stay online celebrating the death of their children or taking joy in the misfortunes of their loved one. That is cowardice. It is pathetic.

Don't mind him. A friend of mine who is Nigerian and an employee of one of the boroughs in London has just returned from a holiday to Dubai with his entire family. Many ordinary folks holiday in or visit Dubai for one thing or the other. Only the ALUU savages in Nigeria, who assume the world is full of koboless and frustrated people like them, would be asking what the young man is doing in Dubai. There could be a million legitimate reason for why he was in Dubai and a balanced person would not rush to assume the worst on account of who the boy's father is.

We should assume the young man has no personal means or purpose to visit Dubai because his father is Alams? What do some people take Dubai to be? It is simply another attractive destination , like London or Paris, people buy a flipping ticket ticket to visit and/or conduct business in !!!! That Dubai is a popular destination for our politicians should mean nothing to most gainfully employed and balanced people who also have the means themselves to visit Dubai if they want. Some folks just take to the net and embarrass Nigeria without thinking.

Don't do it unless you are leaving Nairaland for good never to return. Anonymity is your greatest strength as a poster here since it means you can fully express yourself without worrying about your views making you and anyone associated with you a target in real life.

Nairaland reminds me of the ancient arenas where gladiators fight to kill and maim each other while a bloodthirsty audience bay for more gore and death. Once your real identity is known you are compromised. If you are doing serious things in real life then you should reconsider as it will be obvious to you that there is no profit to be had from revealing who you are to a forum where far more members than is desirable act like ALUU savages. Contribute here and leave it at that. This ensures that when you log off Nairaland you can focus on your other endeavours and pursuits. If you truly know and understand the malevolent nature of many Nairalanders, which drew them to this forum in the first place, you will refrain from this move I think you will regret. You think important, well-known and successful Nigerians do not use Nairaland? Why do you think they all keep their identity secret? You have been warned.
PoliticsWHY Jonathan Should Have Been Impeached Long Before Now – Abubakar Tsav by Gbawe(op): 7:26am On Oct 14, 2014
http://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/10/performance-jonathan-taking-nigerians-granted-tsav/

WHY Jonathan should have been impeached long before now – Abubakar Tsav

ALHAJI Abubakar Tsav, an elder statesman and a retired Commissioner of Police, in this interview expressed sadness that President Goodluck Jonathan’s rumoured second term ambition has been made pre-eminent over the security challenge in Nigeria by those, who recently adopted him as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) consensus presidential candidate. He also spoke on other issues.

The build up to the 2015 general elections has been characterised by despreation on the part of politicians. Since this is becoming a pattern in Nigeria’s politics what is your advice in this regard?

It is bound to happen because many politicians are in politics because of what they can make for themselves. They are so concerned about making money and getting positions. So people should not be surprised that this has been the pattern since 1999. It is very unfortunate. If our founding fathers who played politics in the days of (late Chief Obafemi Awolowo were to come back now, they would weep over what is happening.

The politicians of today have no conscience, all they are concerned about is to get political power. They don’t mind using any kind of means to get there. Those in positions of authority have regrettably failed to give the nation the true meaning of democracy. I want to advice those seeking for political offices to know that it is only God that can give power. Political power should not be regarded as a do-or-die affair. It should be done with human face. Politics should be played like a game of football. The reason for the present desperation is because politics is being viewed as an enterprise, where people make so much money. That is why everyone is interested in the job. Our people should learn from developed democracies where politicians are so concerned about selfless service.

Absence of rule of law
Another reason for it is the near absence of rule of law in Nigeria. When people commit all sorts of crime in the name of politicking and go free, others will not be discouraged from doing so. Since 1999, nobody has been committed for electoral offences. No one has been convicted for armed robbery and shot. So these armed robbers have become party thugs and chieftains in their respective states. Sadly, these armed robbers-turn thugs and party chieftains have become the so called leaders. But if our laws were effective, people will be very conscious of their ways. But the sad thing is that for one to be a politician in Nigeria, he must be above the law. That is why all manner of things go on in the name of politics. When (late President Umaru Musa) Yar’ Adua came, he was particularly concerned about the rule of law. The man was even against himself because of his belief in the rule of law. We experienced this when he obeyed court judgements against the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on governorship elections.

President Goodluck Jonathan’s recent passmark on his leadership of the country has been interpreted as a justification for his rumoured second term ambition. What do you make of that?
It is very funny. How can someone who sat for an examination claim to have passed without being assessed? Nigerians should be the ones to appraise Jonathan. You can see that under him, the country has witnessed the highest rate of insecurity.
There is lawlessness everywhere and unchallenged corruption. No one has been convicted for corruption, while impeachment threats are being used to frustrate governors. For the President to say that, it shows that he is taking Nigerians for granted. He has committed so many impeachable offences and our legislators, who hardly perform their watchdog functions, have done nothing about it.
The $9.3million arms deal is an impeachable offence in any country where the rule of law is obeyed and where the legislators are up to their duties. They are taking us for granted because Nigerian don’t hold their leaders accountable.

What is your take on PDP’s adoption of President Jonathan as its consensus presidential candidate?
I have said it earlier that our political leaders are not interested in serving the interest of Nigerians. Their focus is on how to rig elections and embezzle money. If they were concerned about the nation, they would not have been carried away by the prospects of getting political power instead of saving the country from collapse. Those, who endorsed Jonathan don’t love him. And they are not doing that for the good of this country. They are leading the man astray. Some of those supporting him are governors, who want a second term while others want to go the Senate. They are doing that because of their selfish interests. It is very unfortunate that we don’t have leaders. If we had leaders at different levels of the society, no one would endorse Jonathan now considering the urgent need to restore security in the country.
The Chibok girls have been missing for the past six months. Nothing has been done about that. They have even forgotten about them. Some of the people supporting Jonathan are even mocking the girls and their parents. Some of them have said that the girls are not missing. Those around the President are not telling him the truth about the mood of Nigerians concerning the state of the nation. They are only deceiving him by endorsing him in the face of national challenges that require attention.

You rose to the peak of your career in the Police Force, with that background, can you tell us how right it is for the Federal Government to purchase arms clandestinely?
There are many things involved in this matter. Maybe someone is using that method to launder money. Perhaps, the person wanted to divert the money for his own personal use. Otherwise, if you want to buy arms, the arms dealer must have an account. And the money should be transferred through the dealer’s bank account. And if such must be done it must be according to all known legal procedures of arms purchase. For the (Christian Association of Nigeria) CAN President, he has got himself too involved in political issues. At this time, we expect religious leaders to pray for the country and offer useful advice for the betterment of the nation. What is the reason behind the purchase of arms? Is it to fight terrorists? There are many many questions that are unanswered on that issue. And the people advising President Jonathan are not doing him anyone good. His advisers ought to have told him the proper ways of purchasing arms. What stopped them from transferring the money through the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN? If they are claiming that some Western countries have refused to sell arms to Nigeria, then they should make the purchase legally elsewhere.
The way things are going on in this country raises a lot of questions. Nigeria has a very strong army that is respected in the continent and beyond. But unfortunately, defeating Boko Haram has become a big challenge. That our troops have not gone to Sambisa forest is also a surprise to all those who respect the Nigerian Army.

Gen Muhammadu Buhari, retd, who you have spoken so well of at various times, has indicated interest in contesting for the office of the President for the fourth time. What is is your take on that?
Buhari has been tested and found capable. He is the only hope we have now. Maybe there are some people, who are better than him but he is the only honest person that has indicated interest so far. He was a Minister of Petroleum and was not found wanting. As a head of state, his record is still unrivalled. He headed the Petroleum Trust Fund, PTF, and had an enviable record. Buhari has no house in Abuja. Buhari has no house outside Nigeria. Buhari is not known to have stolen any money. He had the opportunity to steal but he did not. If given the opportunity to rule, he will rescue this country from destruction. My fear is that most of our politicians will do everything to stop him because he is honest. Since we have tested Buhari severally, why can’t we give him the opportunity? If we want to stop corruption and if we want the rule of law to be active in this country Buhari is the man that can do that.

You accused the Federal Government of having a hand in Murtala Nyako’s ouster as Adamawa State governor. The same government is also being accused of being responsible for the recent court judgement that installed Nyako’s deputy, Bala Ngilari, as governor. What do you make of that?

I don’t think the federal government has a hand in it even though I have not stopped accusing the government of knowing much about Nyako’s impeachment. Right from the beginning there were a lot of mistakes in the processes leading to the impeachment of Nyako and his deputy’s purported resignation. What the court has done now is to correct those mistakes.

The scenario playing out in your state, Benue, promises to be an epic battle of political heavy weights. The incumbent governor, Gabriel Suswam wants to go to the Senate while Chief Barnabas Gemade is also interested in the seat. What do you think should be done to forestall the likely crisis that may arise from this?
Suswam has performed so much, even more than the governor who was there before. Our people can attest to that. If such a person wants to serve again in another capacity, it will not be a wrong idea. So, Suswam deserves to go to the Senate.

Agitations for power shift to Idoma nation in 2015, seems to be generating tension in the state. Since power has resided in the hands of the Tiv for a long time, would you as a Tiv support the calls for power shift?
The Idoma are bonafide indigenes of Benue State, so they are entitled to govern the state. We can’t say that because they are seen as minorities they cannot produce the next governor of the state. That is wrong. In the spirit of fairness and equity, they should be allowed to govern the state.

The recent breakthrough in the fight against terrorism seems to indicate that the war could be won if things were properly done. How do you think the momentum can be sustained?
I remember that Borno State governor was the first person, who said that our military was fighting the war with inferior equipment. He was berated by many people for what was believed as false claims. But everyone now agrees with him since Boko Haram started their territorial conquests. The achievements of the military today is as a result of the government’s acceptance that the war was being fought with inferior weapons. What we have seen is a result of a different kind of approach by the government.

Do you think the current wave of court-martial in the military will augur well for an army that has been widely criticised for its approach to the war on terror?
The military has its rules of engagement. If the soldiers go against the rules, they are supposed to be court-martialled. So, I see nothing wrong with them being court-martialled. So, the military is right on that because if they are allowed to go unpunished, they will become wild. There was an instance in Zaria, where over 30 people were killed by soldiers. Those responsible for that should also be court-martialled. Court-martial is important because it serves as check and balances against misuse of power by the soldiers.

Why then are the APC guys even trying to explain your choice of your number 1 candidate when you have worked out your winning formula and tested it from all sides?

It is unnerving to the opposition for a reason and they have now worked on a counter strategy to upset the equilibrium. They are just trying to poke holes in your strategy to see if it is water tight or they could still over throw the consensus and create havoc.

Why all of a sudden are there tons of PDP supporters calling for Fashola when initially the party was strictly forbidden and a Muslim party? Is Fashola not a Muslim now?

The gift of the Trojan horse comes to mind. Be wise! Stand your ground win or loose. Let them be the ones doing all the work, send them back to the drawing board, because as soon as they see they are not winning they will come back with something new to occupy you. That's politics!

Word!
Brilliant. I have said the same to APC fans as well but some simply fail to see treacherous and duplicitous PDP stalwarts for what they are. For example, it is not difficult to note that many of those suddenly demanding Fashola be the Presidential candidate of the APC are precisely the same posters who shout "GEJ till 2019" and have stated brazenly and openly that "the SE is not interested in having anything to do with APC". Is their rudimentary deceit not obvious? Is it not clear why they fear Buhari who is a sure banker vote winner in the North and only needing the right Southern VP specifically to appeal to the "game changing region" i.e the SW? They are merely afraid of the right combo they worry can oust their messiah.

Wise APC supporters, as you noted, should focus on their own choice and calculations. We all know the reality of our nation. They shout Buhari is too old yet how many votes did the "young" Ribadu get in 2011 in comparison to Buhari who will, till death, remain an icon in the North and to detribalised and religiously tolerant southerners? Today, Buhari's skill set will be even more appealing to Nigerians given that GEJ, over 5 years, has gone on to prove he is corruption personified and that corruption is indeed the major reason most things do not work as they should in Nigeria . APC fans should focus on what matter which is their own affairs. They should note they are doing something right when no APC fan is found, like the village amebo, suggesting candidates for the PDP yet PDP supporters, reeking of fear and insecurity, are always attempting to mock the choice of Buhari or deceptively hide behind the "present Fashola" deception they think the APC will be foolish enough to adopt and easily hand GEJ another 4 years. In the lead up to the elections, it will be important for APC fans to project focus, confidence and be in a zero tolerance mood for mischief and distractions.

@OP.
Stop entertaining inane questions especially from the likes of Aljbokoharem. Are you the only poster who does not know him here? Even a Nigerian kid who deals with the reality of his Nation will know why the APC cannot adopt Fashola so it is pointless you explaining the point to adults who should know, if they mean well for Nigeria, that the APC must get its strategy right to present candidates, in the right order, capable of delivering the votes to oust the PDP. Has anyone told these mumu Fashola will suddenly disappear if APC win under Buhari? What we can all be sure of about a Buhari Presidency is that it will be about round holes in round pegs. Fashola will have an important role, utilising his skills efficiently, to play in such a government till he can aspire for higher in future when the time is right. Focus on what the APC is doing and the tunnel vision we will all need to get behind the eventual candidates the Party settle on. Stop entertaining duplicitous TANdroids and Jonathanians who are only 'catching fun' at the expense of naive and gullible APC supporters. Ignore them and focus on what/who is important.
Absolutely no need, at this stage, to explain the choice of the Party to anyone.

No Point Discussing Jonathan Anymore

Sam Nda-Isaiah
— May 12, 2014 | 26 Comments
It may well be an embarrassment for Nigerians and indeed Africans that American, British and French troops have to come in to rescue a country that is considered the continent’s superpower. Is this the same Nigeria of Yakubu Gowon, Murtala Muhammed, Olusegun Obasanjo and Shehu Shagari? Is this the country of Muhammadu Buhari, Ibrahim Babangida, Sani Abacha and Abdulsalami Abubakar? Indeed, is this the Nigeria of generals T.Y. Danjuma, Muhammadu Shuwa, Gibson Jalo and Benjamin Adekunle? This is very painful. We must accept this as our fate and punishment for condoning the Jonathan presidency.

But that’s just an aside. If you have been listening to the international news media – CNN, BBC, SkyNews, Aljazeera, The Economist of London, New York Times and indeed all other major international cable TV channels and newspapers – it should be clear by now that there is nothing any Nigerian needs to say about Jonathan and his government anymore. The world’s verdict on the incompetence of President Jonathan is unanimous. We should thank God that the international community does not see a problem with Nigeria itself as a country. Their verdict is that it is Jonathan that should not be in power at all. All the CNN correspondents are in agreement on Jonathan’s incompetence. Isha Sesay even went beyond the call of duty to educate the world about Nigeria and the cluelessness of its government. She is probably angrier than the rest because she is an African herself and the fact that girls are involved; both are good reasons for her to be angry. Richard Quest said it is not that Nigeria is ungovernable, it is governance incapacity that is at issue – a direct reference to Jonathan’s incapability to effectively perform his job as president. The Economist bluntly describes President Jonathan as “incompetent” and the government he supposedly runs as “clueless”; it rightly concludes that “the incompetence of Nigeria’s president and government is hurting the country’s reputation at home and abroad”. It is very true and cannot be put better. Jonathan has brought down the esteem of the entity called Nigeria. We must rebrand our country after we have freed ourselves from him. This we must do by May 29, next year. For Dame Patience, The Economist says “Patience is not always a virtue” and rightly uses words like “bizarre” to describe our first lady. They conclude that she makes matters worse for Nigeria.

The New York Times editorial avers that “Jonathan leads a corrupt government that has little credibility”. How true! Hillary Clinton threw all diplomacy aside to declare that “President Jonathan’s government has failed”. She also said “the government in Nigeria has been, in my view, somewhat derelict in its responsibility towards protecting boys and girls, men and women in northern Nigeria over the last years”.

On his own, the influential United States Republican senator, John McCain, said “the United States didn’t have to wait until a practically non-existent government of Nigeria gave us the go-ahead before mounting a humanitarian effort to rescue those 276 abducted girls”. See how Jonathan is making foreigners insult us?

The world has passed a clear vote of no confidence on President Jonathan and therefore will get more interested in the process and the outcome of the 2015 presidential election. The three words – “incompetence”, “corruption”, “clueless” – have become part of the Jonathan narrative. With this verdict and the way Jonathan has battered our image as a country, I wonder why he still wants to force himself on us as president till 2019. But we wait to see how he will achieve that. Were this to be in most other countries, the president would have resigned, but, in President Jonathan’s alternative universe, he actually wants to continue as president till 2019. And this is a president who not only cannot protect his citizens, but cannot now protect or even guarantee the security of the nation’s children. If the world is currently so outraged about the kidnap of more than 200 girls in Chibok and President Jonathan didn’t give a damn until the world started showing interest in the matter, only God knows how this story will change when the world finds out that, hours after Boko Haram killed over 74 persons in a bomb attack on Nyanya, the president was dancing at a campaign rally in Kano. Not to talk about the fact that he has not made any reference to the burning to death of 60 teenage boys at Federal Government College, Buni Yadi in Yobe State, a few weeks ago.

There is no need for any Nigerian to waste time on President Jonathan anymore. The world has already united against him. He will now need more than the good luck of his name to survive till May 29!

Btw I know his son directly and he was a friend of mine
You're a very strange chap with a mien for brazen deception that makes you nauseating. So most people upon hearing of the death of a "friend" they knew "directly" would say what you did, reproduced below, without even first expressing sorrow and shock for the loss of a "friend"? You are not fooling anyone as most posters now know you are fond of making wild claims you are always eventually discredited for.

What's is he doing in Dubai after his father disgraced Nigeria
@Post. RIP to the young man if true. Tragic for any young person to die in their prime.

Say amen to my prayer for you then. Cowardly loser. Stand by your utterance against others and say amen so you can begin instantly experiencing greater bad luck and failure to even worsen your already wretched life. Those who lie and slander others as you do will only experience misfortune. Watch and see if I lie because Yorubas believe everybody has "Eleda" (a creator) that protects their interest even in their absence. Some call it Karma in the West. Whatever. What I know is hateful liars like you will get yours.

GENERAL MUHAMMADU BUHARI:
LISTEN TO HIS WHISPERS AND READ HIS BODY LANGUAGE

You have been asking yourself rhetorical questions like Why is this old soldier desperate to rule again? What is he looking for? What made him shed tears when he was addressing journalists?

The retired General and former head of state is telling you that he is not desperate but desirous of giving back to his beloved country and her people that include his own family.

Buhari is telling you that he is not looking for any personal gains but that he is deeply concerned about you all, especially the downtrodden and that his conviction tells him he has a better idea to make life more abundant for you.

The man of great courage and integrity is telling you he shed tears on your behalf because he is seeing what you are not seeing but that is hurting you and devaluing your essence of living.

If you are still not convinced or you are still confused, please lend him your ears and listen solemnly to his whispers to you.

Muhammadu Buhari is saying solemnly that God loves us all as Nigerians and endowed us abundantly in terms of environment, natural resources, population and indeed all other good things of life that suggests as if we are the original God's Own country but we have not kept faith with him.

The one time federal commissioner for petroleum is whispering to your ears and to your hearing that as fortunate citizens of a country with great potentials that you are naturally qualified for good things of life which are being presently denied you.

You first asked him questions but he is now asking you questions. Is there a reason for you as Nigerians to be hungry in the midst of plenty? He is asking you further, Why should you not have access to qualitative and affordable health care?.

The General also wants to know why must your daughters be forced to sex slavery in desperation to pay school fees? And why is your government unable to uphold human capital development? He is asking you Why is employment generation a rocket science?

Muhammadu Buhari wants to know whether it is charitable for your graduate sons and daughters to pay a levy in order to be qualified to participate in scanty job vacancy being sought after by ample applicants? Still a bewilderment to the General, he wants to know why you should get killed in the process of wanting to get employed.

Buhari is susurrating to you like Papa Awo and MKO Abiola did, that you and I, his beloved people in his beloved country should embrace his offer to turn things around for the greatest good of the greatest number.

Buhari's body language disapproves of the oppression being suffered by the people of the geographical area that represents the Goose that lays the golden eggs,(the blackgold); that gives the remainder of the component body substantial revenue to share. His body language is speaking that he wants a better deal for the people of South South who bear the brunt of environmental depravity.

Buhari is asking himself why is it impossible to pay our women fixed amount on the basis of maximum of four children per mother till age eighteen? The infantry General believes all inter state roads must be constructed into standard highways to reduce avoidable deaths through bad roads.

GMB through his whispers, laments the alleged involvement of members of the profession of his first love (Soldiering), in acts of indiscipline like the burning of mass transit vehicles and traveling on dedicated bus lanes. Buhari through his body language bemoans the recklessness, dereliction of duty and professionalism abandonment by the Nigeria Police in their day to day dealings with the public that should hitherto appreciate them. The General is saying that he will not sit idle and watch a bunch of miscreants and important thugs abase His Lordship in the temple of justice no matter the gains or favor that may accrue to him from such abomination.

Must leaders lead by engaging in conspicuous consumption and prodigality when the majority lack and more so when such exiguity is precipitated by their leaders?, Buhari is asking through his whispers. He is also asking why a leader of all should not embrace the faith of all why he keeps his own faith also? He is wondering why a person exalted in the midst of several millions to lead would deem it fit to allow his aides to divide people of common destiny along faith and ethnic strait?

General Buhari sheds tears when he remembers those who sacrificed their lives to make this country great and indivisible; when he watches helplessly how gifted artistes like Lere Paimo and many others are not getting maximum rewards for their input; and he sheds tears when he watches helplessly people losing their beloved ones to avoidable deaths.

The patriot is carefully whispering to you that he shares a parallel line with acts of corruption and that if you allow him to help you, it will take you no time to spot the difference between him and them.

The Democrat convert and a true one for that matter, is telling you that he will lead by example and operate within the ambit of the law and that he expects you all to respect the laws so that we can have cohesion. Through his body language he is narrating to you that as military Head of State, he never at any time usurped the functions of his deputy hence his deputy of blessed memory was more visible than him in interacting with the public.

Through his whispers, GMB is telling you to judge him by his antecedent as Head of State on how he decisively dealt with Maitasine sect uprising and judge whether he is supposed to be blackmailed as a religious fundamentalist by his adversaries.

Buhari is saying that he is a devout Muslim but he absolutely absorb the freedom of others to practice their own religion as his choices of running mates in his previous presidential races are attestable to this assertion.

The message from Buhari's whispering is that Nigeria gave him the opportunity to rise and accomplish his wishes in his chosen profession, he is now telling you all that all of you must enjoy the freedom of realizing your dream as one of the dividends of citizenry
.

The General is telling you and me that what you are running after to Sokoto town is right in your Sokoto ( trouser). He is asking you Why go abroad? Why do you need to check out as "Andrew" wanted to do? GMB is reiterating his saying of the past that indeed past generations and present generations have no other country than Nigeria and that he is still steadfast and committed to salvaging it together with others.

Buhari says there is more than enough to go round. Despite the plundering that had been ongoing, General says the left over in the Sun planet is potent enough to dry our clothes. The spartan leader is expressing through his body language that you will enjoy life more abundant in Agriculture, in Technology, in entertainment, in transportation and more than ever before you shall be tempted to do away with iron security doors that imprison you in your own house because security shall attract greater attention.

The General sheds tears when he relives the drudgery and turmoil of ordinary citizens' daily routine and getting little in returns; the risk of bag snatchers, "One Chance" commercial vehicle operators, kidnappers and ritualists prowling the roads and the frustration of returning home to meet darkness even though you pay fixed amount to the extortionists saddled with the responsibility of providing electricity.

The General says you deserve the best as citizen of the potentially best country in the world in terms of integrated transportation system that gives you comfort of air conditioner and easily accessible and safe ride at any time of travel.

In a nutshell, the General is whispering to us all that it could be better than this in all ramifications hence he has offered himself for service if only to give back to a country that made him whom he wanted to be.

I stand to be counted. What about you?

Bia nwoke! I posted about buhari inviting people for his declaration! You're talking about saraki holding Kwara people to ramson. If Kwarans deem it fit to perpetually honour worship the sarakis how does it affect you as an individual? Peter obi singlehandedly installed obiano, ibori installed his cousin but in your bias and jaundiced mind it is that of the sarakis you saw and worried about. I'm sure he's not holding the populace by putting a gun to their heads.

Tinubu met Lagos with an IGR of about 6billion Naira and left it hitting 20billion Naira monthly. I'm from itunpate in Ikorodu Local government Area of lagos state and I've seen the various impact of fashola from roads to schools to courthouses to free medical care to water to brt and if tinubu being the architect of the big IGR is paid for the consultancy he is doing then I have no problem since I know how my state was and how it is now. I love the APC and the change it symbolizes. "Where man dey work na there him dey chop"

Is Obj now in APC? the onus and power to probe all the people you listed is vested in Jonathan and the PDP. The EFCC and ICPC are Agencies of the Federal Government, Don't you think it is a classic example of a dunce and da.ft government if these people you listed above as corrupt can't be made scapegoat by the Jonathan Adminstration? they are opposition elements! He can arrange for their investigation! But alas ! your commander in thief just arranged for Mohammed Abacha's freedom from corruption and money laundering investigation and court case, FFK case is dropped, Stella Oduah no case submission, Malabu Oil Scandal no case submission, Pension fund nothing yet, Ndudi elumelu case no mention again, faruk lawan did you hear anything, Patricia Etteh how far, Peter Odili (he has a PERPETUAL RESTRAINING ORDER) from being probed for corrupt acts and instead of your President and EFCC to challenge such, His wife was made a SUPREME COURT JUSTICE and HE HIMSELF just received a NATIONAL MERIT AWARD for being a very good and special NIGERIAN, want me to go on?.
Bros corruption wear coat for your PDP but you people will close eye to the log in your eye yet be looking at the speck in others.

You're asking the qualification of the SPEAKER of the House of Representatives to be a Governor? Are you for real?

Compare the performance of your best performing governor in the PDP with that of the least performing governor in the APC bearing in mind the resources and allocation available to those states.

No sane Nigerian will hope to have the PDP in Aso Rock after the 16years of wanton and daylight robbery of our commonwealth.
Brilliant response. This is precisely the sort of concise, fact-laden and viscerally logical common sense utterance many bright and pragmatically intelligent Nairalanders used to deliver in the past here. Alas many intelligent contributors have left after it became obvious the forum has been taken over by children of hate and indoctrination whose only mission is to unquestioningly support GEJ and his interest, never mind how badly Mr.President is misruling Nigeria before the very eyes of all of us, while they automatically hate, insult and vilify the perceived enemies of GEJ here daily.

Be that "enemy" of GEJ Fashola, Tinubu, Buhari,Tambuwal, Aregbesola, EL Rufai,Soyinka or even Mandela then you can expect these mindless TANdroids and asinine Jonathanians to close their minds to reality and be full of insults, lies and self-deceit alone. GEJ, for his direct actions and inaction, qualifies to be viewed as the most ineffective President in the world given the resources and power at his disposal. This is the truth backed by too much solid evidence a sane or objective person cannot deny.

My good man, I do not need his apology. Don't let me set the e-insurgents on you.
Abeg, ignore the frustrated fool. He is not worth it. He has always been a loser suffering from severe inferiority complex. There are many like him here. Not that it is a crime to be elderly but you will be surprised, like the old man of 60 called Tomakint, that it is these fools who go around calling others "old" who are actually very advanced in age.

The problem with these gutter thugs and ill-trained street urchins is that they don't understand the world is not full of their kind alone. They think every refined individuals who writes properly must be elderly. They have never heard of class and good breeding. Dimeji Bankole is one of the youngest prominent politicians in Nigeria at 44. If in reality I am an aburo (younger brother) to Bankole, let alone be anywhere near the age of GEJ who is 56, then may God ensure anyone here who claims falsely I am the elder of Jonathan be afflicted with very bad luck and failure their entire lives which will then move on to their children and grandchildren. Mr.Talktimi or whatever you call yourself, can I get an amen from you to this prayer since you go around lying frustratedly simply because of your bad belle for posters here who best you intellectually day in and day out?
