Obiagelli:Can you blame the loser and street urchin? He has not eaten today so why won't he be here barking like a rabid dog? |
JustCare:Desecrating your thread? My friend, it is Sunday so you better watch yourself. You think starting a thread here means you own it and can thus order anyone off it if they don't write what you want to read or promote the direction you intolerantly wish to take the thread in? This is a public forum and I don't care what you created your thread for which is most likely to attack Buhari and the APC anyway given your past posts. I'll say what I like and respond when spoken to. Comprende? If you don't like it then leave. |
masterpower:Try something else. This whole 'islamisation' thingy is stale and dead. Your Oga at the top (GEJ) is trying to court moslem votes via saying Boko Haramites are not Moslems and you are not even smart enough to get with the program and refrain from sabotaging his unpopular and wilting ambition. Even kids under 7 are no longer taken in by the religious scaremongering bigots like you assume you can use to divert attention away from the monumental failings of the candidate you worship clannishly. You should grow up and stop spreading malicious prejudice even a well-raised little kid will reject. |
talktimi:Another lunatic. At least I gave my opinion on the topic. What is yours? Is it just to obsess about what Gbawe writes, without contributing anything towards the substantive issue under discussion, as you have done for years? Look in the mirror to see the cretin and pathetic groupie who has not changed a single bit over the years. |
anonimi:What "hypocrisy"? This is why, even as I am very sorry to say it, I associate your Nairaland username with radical extremism and fundamentalism. You may be given a satisfactory and comprehensive answer to a question fifty times yet you will cotinue asking the same stupid questions and trying to forcefully indict others of a crime that has not taken place merely because you hate them myopically and unobjectively. How may times will Tinubu need to explain why the likes of Atiku, Ikimi et al were allowed to join the APC? I hope the quote below, even as you have seen it many times, finally sinks in and make sense to you as it does to even the most hard core haters of Tinubu. it is "hypocrites" like you who would attack "undemocratic" Tinubu if he blocked Atiku, Ikimi et al from joining the APC. Hate him all you want but Tinubu is a brilliant and consummate politicians miles ahead of the dross simpletons like you can concoct. http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/tinubu-replies-ikimi-denies-betraying-ribadu-involvement-in-oando-conocophilips-deal/188055/ “At the formation of the APC, a crucial debate ensued about what to do about persons like Ikimi, who had done awful things in the past, but who were now minded to align with the progressive tendency in Nigerian politics. Should we forever blacklist them? This would have been the easiest route, but it would have kept rancour alive. It would have made us slaves to the bleakest chapters of our past. |
GODDYGEE91:No disrespect meant but I have to say you need glasses if you can claim "Buhari tro way en own face 4 de oda side". |
koolhunk:This has been in the offing from even the beginning of Tambuwal's tenure. The speaker, in body language and actual deeds, has never hidden his affection and gratitude for the opposition that supported him to power when GEJ and other PDP bigwigs tried to prevent him from emerging as Speaker house of reps. If Tambuwal eventually defects then this is another feather in the hat of Tinubu confirming the man's political vision and strategic thinking. Ajibola Muraina today, had he become speaker, would be another cheap endorser/tool of GEJ. As it is, Tambuwal could now be a serious asset for the APC because he has never felt a sense of belonging for his own Party that did everything to undermine him politically. |
ilugunboy:Don't mind the demented crackhead. Of course every Nairalander know it was an omission error and I meant vice President. He is indeed losing it with how he is now reduced to looking for omission molehills to make a mountain of. He is one of the many here who go over everything I write with a microscope looking for errors to highlight. I guess I should be flattered really. |
Kai. A picture they say speaks a thousand words. The General looking straight at Atiku while our former vice President could only look downward and away from the penetrating gaze. Sai General !!! www.nairaland.com/attachments/1776588_atikubuhari620x330_jpegc2fd0895b2f55e491ea9d00b26eb4d1a |
Obiagelli:Buhari,in Yoruba parlance, would be describes as "Okunrin meta" (three men in one) meaning a great man in all sense. |
nationwide1:Fear no dey catch Atiku? Atiku has the money but Buhari is the one with the undiluted love of the people. Many Talakawas will voluntarily lay their lives down for the General. Atiku and others know this and will always be extremely jealous of the Ghandi-like love the poor have for Buhari. Most rich people mainly respect and perhaps fear powerful folks who do not need material wealth or influence to be who or what they are. This is why many world leaders, billionaires, celebrities, superstar entertainers, sports people et al used to turn into little children when they met Nelson Mandela. |
This is absolutely barbaric treatment of a child. We should not lose our humanity all in the name of fighting terror. She is tied up in the first picture yet Kabiru Sokoto, a Boko Haram kingpin responsible for the death of many innocent Nigerians, is always deferentially unshackled considering the atrocities he committed. Was Kabiru Sokoto ever tortured? I doubt it considering his political connections. Yet they do this to a child. It seems Nigeria is determined to get wrong every single damn thing that is possible to get wrong thus prolonging the fight against murderous terror. Hearts and mind, that even the 'powerful' west has learnt expensively is needed to conquer terror, will not be won over with these type of revelations. People claim Northerners are sympathetic to Boko Haram but who will side with what these barbarians are doing to this child? Certainly many will be pained and enraged by these images that seem to suggest even the 'good guys' are vile savages. https://informationng.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/kabirusokoto.jpg Kabiru Sokoto attending Court. |
Take note Nairalanders. This is a big clue for recognising someone who is a loser and failure in life. I.e the desperation to use any development, however inanely ret.a.rded, to claim victory for anything/anyone they are affiliated with. How on earth should Oshiomhole , even if an APC Governor, welcome his own President he still has the responsibility of respecting publicly and hosting graciously? With a Karate chop to the mouth? Oshiomhole, as any educated and refined leader would do, is just following political etiquette and protocol. Some Nairalanders, like the OP, are such unrefined losers, feudalists and cave dwellers. |
adepiero:Plus "resource control" (according to General Boyloaf) from the highest level of oil theft in the history of Nigeria. I would be surprised if GEJ is worth less than $10 billion for the brazen direct and crony looting of Nigeria he is supervising. |
skyfall:This is why it is best for real Lagosians to just ask the OP to vote whoever he wants instead of engaging his argument which is clearly dishonest, extremely biased and unfair. OP will meet other real Lagosians at the polls if he is indeed a Lagosian with the true interest of the State at heart. No long thing. |
baccaspace:Don't mind that chap and others like him. You know the undemocratic elements by their words. If a Party fields a candidate you do not like then simply take your vote elsewhere. No long thing. Those dedicated to voting Jonathan should leave Buhari and the APC alone and focus on promoting GEJ and his Party. No wahala and no gra gra. |
Rexxie:You are the classic example signifying a lost, clannish, cretinous and useless generation that is bereft of any intellectual worth and only able to trade in insults as standard modus operandi. With Nigerians like you parading as 'human resources', is it a wonder our hapless nation is drifting seriously? |
Igbokwe is right. Lagosians are the most pragmatic set of voters in Nigeria. Scaremongering ala "Tinubu has enslaved Lagos" will not work. Was this not used as a PDP election campaign motto in 2011 along with the claim Fashola and Tinubu had fallen out leaving the APC in "disarray" and "unable" to claim victory? Can anyone remember the eventual landslide result in favour of the ACN (now APC) i.e ACN (Fashola) : 1,509113. PDP (Dosunmu) : 300,450. Free rice and kerosine is dead on arrival also as Lagosians will 'chop' free dollar with their minds fully made up on who they will vote for. The PDP desperation to claim Lagos is high but same was the case in 2011 to no avail because Lagos host probably the most sophisticated electorate in Nigeria. This electorate fully know and understand what the "nest of killers" (PDP) is. |
OP, it is your vote. Use it as you wish and you will meet other Lagosians at the poll. This is the beauty of democracy. Regardless of how passionately you feel about your position, it will still boil down to majority carrying the vote. |
100% correct. “Jonathan is a divisive character. He is not only tribalistic, he is clannish. He is very corrupt, irresponsible and he is not ashamed to lie. He has done more damage to the psyche of the average Nigerian that any other government in recent memory.” |
ideology:Remember the saying "no permanent enemies in politics only permanent interests"? Politics is essentially about seeing the big picture always rather than being personally encumbered by pettiness and worthless bellicosity. |
Papertrail11:Bro,there is nothing like "economic policies" under GEJ. Just scams, deception, politics of patronage,anti-people profligacy, brazen corruption and cronyism. We all know Buhari, for all his faults, will never be about similar. The root and absolutely essential quality the next Nigerian President must possess is lofty personal principles and zero interest in enrichment of himself or others. This is why Nigeria has never been able to get it right. Every President since 1999, rather than get into office to begin fighting for the interest of ordinary Nigerians, has had his head 'turned' by the spectacular wealth that can be amassed within a system as open and vulnerable as a goal without a goalkeeper. Buhari is one of the few leaders in Nigeria with the character to enter such an arena to shun filthy lucre. Rather, Buhari will wholly commit to fighting for change on behalf of ordinary Nigerians rather than capitulate to greed and materialism to become a promoter and enabler of all that is holding Nigeria down as GEJ is today 100%. Nigerians should take this chance to elect a man with the principles, character, determination and fearlessness to genuinely transform Nigeria |
Obiagelli:Welcome back. Who had the nerve to ban you without consulting me? Phockphock |
BlackPeni5:We are not currently hiring praise-singers or professional sycophants. We have enough of those already. We need thugs and 'combatants'. PM me if interested in that line of work. |
maestroferddi:Very easily is how. Although I must remind one-way traffic Nairalanders that Ambode has not emerged the APC candidate yet. In case some fake Lagosians have not realised it, Lagos State is not a "vote individual and not Party" State. Voters tend to look at everything in a pragmatic and inter-related manner. It is the heights of naivete and ignorance to think Agbaje's name alone will make PDP palatable enough to claim victory. Lagos politics is more complex than that and I cannot blame desperate yet ultimately ignorant elements for not realising this. They desperately want the APC out and will ignore reality to install anyone as their 'local champion'. Agbaje is now the 'messiah' same as was touted with Dosunmu in 2011? Let us wait and see then. |
Segeggs:You are minding AljDesperado. His hatred of Tinubu and Fashola blinds him from facing reality everyone else, to include intelligent and pragmatic PDP fans, accept. Was 2011 not only 3 years ago? How, as an example, did Dosunmu fare against Fashola in 2011 talk less of Koro? Doofuses like Aljbokoharem said the same thing back in 2011 i.e Lagosians were tired of Fashola and would vote in Dosunmu. The reality at the polls disgraced those fools as will happen again in 2015. Or do I need to remind some dreamers, after they made noise in 2011 about Dosunmu, the real results indicative of the easy victory and strength of the ACN (Now APC)? I.e ACN : 1,509113. PDP : 300,450. Today we have the stronger and bigger APC and some clowns, like Aljbokoharem, are still deluding themselves. We dey laff. |
Obanikoro should stop wasting his own time. He is nothing but a political jobber with nothing to offer anyone. Romantic for PDP fans to talk up their candidates but APC will hold Lagos easily because Lagosians are the most pragmatic electorate in Nigeria. Majority have keyed into Fashola's work and vision they now desperately want to continue. Lagos voters are not myopic or thinking only of what will fill their stomach today. They started a project with ACN, and now APC, they have every intention of patiently seeing through to the end for the growth and success of their State. PDP e-warriors are wasting their own time because real Lagosian know what obtained before Fashola and what the positive and vastly different reality is today. As it was "in Fashola we trust" it is now "in Fashola's successor we trust". |
