A little Lagos-centred diversion. UNILAG student makes African history. Oga Fashola snap this kid up ASAP !!!! http://www.osundefender.org/?p=171429 Meet Africa’s Youngest Mathematician, Nigeria Born 24-Year-Old Ph.D Degree Holder |
Always a pleasure to see these pictures. The future of Lagos is very bright. |
anonimi: So a whole aljharem na Chadian PR firm nowMumu, your illiteracy mocks you in public. Shown the very obvious logic that it is not only Nigerians who work in Nigeria you now shamelessly change tact to be talking of PR firm? Did I tell you what Aljbokoharem was employed as or is it your empty head getting ahead of you again? Olodo rabata. Why don't you ask Aljbokoharem what he was employed as instead of trying to be an aplogist for others when you don't have the intelligence to succeed at that Anoni mumu |
anonimi: Why are you disgracing & confusing yourself for whatever PITTANCE you are receivingYou are really a grade-A Olodo. So it is only Nigerians employed in Nigeria? Mumu, did your ultra-corrupt messiah (GEJ) not recently employ an American PR firm to launder his totally soiled image? These are the sort of self-harming revelation that shows some of you are jobless agberos and area boys. |
anonimi: Abeg leave the guy oh.Olodo. How many times have I personally exposed you as a liar and 'forger' here? With fraudulent and entirely dishonest nature, it would be tragic if you are suffering from memory loss as well. Oni iranu. |
aljharem: See another lieAljbokoharem, would you not be better off going to Bourdillon or Alausa to beg for your old job instead of coming here to disgrace yourself daily? |
aljharem: See LiesAljBokoharem, you have made your way here? How market? You don chop today at all? Everybody knows Gbawe does not lie. What I say today is consistently the same as anything I have said since joining NL. Unlike a shameless liar like you who has has claimed to be from every ethnic group in Nigeria since joining NL. You are a fraudster and liar from Chad. You will soon be 'repatriated' to your Country of origin. |
barcanista: I want to know whether it is the same Jonathan that has depleted our External reserve or the same Jonathan that has plunged Nigeria into a record High Debt-with nothing to show for it.You see why I don't take these charlatans seriously and only mock them? Which sane person will accuse others of corruption only for him to be found fervently licking GEJ's derriere when Mr.President , by a Country mile, is the most corrupt politician in Nigeria currently? How many brazen scams and $billions-guzzling 'abracadabra' have we now seen under GEJ? For someone to come here to try and somehow spin that positively with lies show you how hypocritically deviant and twisted some of these people you discuss with really are. Sooner or later you will realise most of them are simply deluded jokers or perhaps even mentally ill people blogging from their phone in the asylum they reside in. |
barcanista: Oga abeg shift go one site. stop giving me screenshot. I need the source. Anybody can doctor a screenshotYou're paying attention to that red-font crackhead? I can't even believe his latest attempt to launder the image of the Ultra-corrupt GEJ government being called out openly by other leaders, in departure from diplomatic decorum, to account for the billions of dollars received from crude sales with Nigeria having nothing on ground to show for this income. The same GEJ Government making billions of dollars disappear into thin air? Some people are shameless sha. |
gratieao: Nobody gives a fvck about you and your TinubuYet you and others are always the first to be hyperventilating when Tinubu is mentioned? you have a funny way of showing you don't "give a fvck" about Tinubu. |
barcanista: Don't mind that trolling cow-headI just don't get people like him. Rather than commit to bettering themselves by seeking to address obvious and embarrassing deficiencies, they are here hurling insults at others daily. |
rozayx5: Thank God BH is on their path of extinction let me see what your serial looser , religious fanatic general will use for campaignWhy do so many of you have a problem spelling loser correctly? Even my 5 year old kid has no such problem yet so many of you adults make this annoying mistake here daily even after correction. Is it not time to seek an adult literacy class to help you gain better education instead of coming here to insult others? |
aljharem: The murder and thiefConfused Chadian, you are here again? You'll soon be deported back to your Country of origin and then you can continue barking rabidly at your fellow Chadians who will no doubt ignore you. |
tatiana009: Tinubu is no saint but I love that he backs performers. Most SW states have definitely developed under the control of APC. I can't forget how Adedibu and the likes almost destroyed the SW with their amala politicsIndeed. As a Lagosian with traditional family links to Ogun State (my parents are from Ogun State) I appreciate the administrators Tinubu helped to power in both States i.e Fashola and Amosun. Fashola needs no introduction because he is universally lauded as the best Political leader in Nigeria and the poster child of innovative, focused and effective African leadership regularly with many awards to his name. i have seen Fashola's impressive transformation of Lagos myself beginning from even my own Surulere end. Comparing Gbenga Daniel to Amosun is like noting the difference between light (Amosun) and darkness (Daniel). Amosun work in 2 years mocks Gbenga Daniels 8-year rule as a monumental waste for Ogun State. Overall, a pragmatic mind will hail Tinubu given that he is a force for progress in a very difficult environment. |
Ukutsgp: It is a question we need to answer. Can buhari end corruption in Nigeria? Won't he be worst than Jonathan?Buhari cannot 'end corruption' but he will fight corruption genuinely and aggressively and get Nigeria moving forward rapidly. Buhari is an austere man who has no interest in garish materialism and wealth acquisition as is the case for most of our politician. What is killing Nigeria is the lack, since 1999, of a President who can altruistically oversee very important processes and reform without trying to claim a stake or work to a hidden agenda that messes everything up. This is where it all goes wrong for Nigeria. Greedy OBJ will be found trying to sell refineries to AGIPs and cronies like Otedola while GEJ will busy himself selling power utilities to his buddies and cronies. No surprise we are still not refining our crude endowment optimally till date and can still not enjoy adequate power supply since the PDP took over in 1999. All in all, and to cut a long story short, these self-sabotaging practices are what ensures that nothing works as it should in Nigeria ensuring. Every initiative or policy that can move Nigeria forward rapidly is destroyed by leadership corruption, greed, self-servitude and the inability of leaders to put Nigerians first. Buhari, for all his faults, will not be guilty of those things and is certainly one of the few who can initiate the changes Nigeria needs. |
DaBullIT: You must be the Kabiesi of them Almajiris !!!! Do you think before you comment I seriously doubt that ? everybody here thinks your deluded and you just proved it .Don't mind Aljbokoharem. He is from Chad so don't expect him to accept the reality you are revealing about the progress your State is making under the APC. |
aljharem: treats and treats. Let it be known that if anything happens to Alj harem and he stops commenting, APC touts have killed me !You're a Chadian with no influence whatsoever so who would want to kill you? A severe beating , to knock some sense into you, is what you deserve at worst and may indeed get in the end. |
omenka: All hail the killer party!!"PDP is a nest of killers" - Wole Soyinka. |
RebelLeader15: Mr co-Solicitor, why did you quote meBecause you were trying to intimidate an individual who spoke pertinently on a topic she has a legitimate stake in. |
aljharem: Again lies and more liesConfused man, when will you face Chadian politics and leave Nigerians alone? It is clear from the garbage you utter that you have not got the slightest clue regarding what you are talking about. Why compare any Nigerian State with another when their realities and political dynamics are very different? For a sane and objective person, and those driven to look for solutions and progress, is it not better to compare the same State under the different political parties that have led them? Do you then, swearing a biblical cyber oath to tell the truth or be cursed to be a failure in life if you lie, want to tell us the reality of Oyo, Osun, Ekiti, Ogun and Edo State under the PDP in the past and what obtains under the APC today? AljBokoharem, go back to Chad with your lies and hate. You cannot succeed revising and distorting current history for any of us. |
berem: Mr. Gbawe, the bold comment is absolutely true! Remember a particular thread were I lamented about the desperation of Jonathan and PDP in the forthcoming elections in Lagos? Its good your post confirmed it.All savvy political observers know this. Anyone who expects the APC to just surrender Lagos, because of the Presidency-aided PDP "do or die" gra gra, is deluded. Simply look at the 'players' GEJ has resurrected for the mission and the "operation totality" intentions of the ruling Party is very obvious. The APC has to be 'up for it' otherwise the SW will find itself under a new dawn of PDP brigandage that will see a return of the nightmare we all thought we had put behind us i.e Adedibu-type thugs, to the detriment of the common man, holding sway everywhere as was the case under OBJ. |
RebelLeader15: Madam APC lamentator GeneralShe is a Lagosian and she is talking about Lagos as she is entitled to do. |
emmatok: Just shut it.The shameless Chadian deserves to be taken to the back of his house and given 25 lashes of 'koboko' !!! What a vile liar and fraudster. As if we were all asleep during the OBJ and PDP days, which is still very fresh in the memory, that GEJ is now trying to resurrect for political gains. |
princealbashir: From your statement, it's certain which side you're. my point is, how come all these are happening after making him the governor?? the last 4years, Ekiti s bn very peaceful.. we already know who the tout and thug is..PDP supporters will never give an honest answer to this question. Are we talking about 1789 history here? Hell no !! We are talking about current history we all witnessed. To see some trying to distort this current hisotry shamelessly just lends credence to the accusation that some Nigerians are shameless scammers and fraudsters. We are talking of a time, under OBJ, that PDP made NURTW violence, thuggery and general chaos a part of day-to-day SW existence. I just don't know how some so called South-Westerners can now be on this thread lying so shamelessly over current history we all witnessed and were a part of. I am not surprised anyway because I know many of them are fakers and paid bloggers because it is only those sort who will attempt spinning the truth any honest person will never attempt to deny. For example, can anyone compare the Oyo of today, under Ajimobi, to what was the reality under Alao-Akala, Adedibu et al? |
aljharem: My friend you are a lair and big one for that matter. You are also paid to do so that is why I can say much. It is your job to lie to Nigerians. My Chadian friend, you will get yourself in trouble with your lies and desperation. Anyone who knows SW politics beyond the surface will know you goofed talking about Dipo Dina. This was a man who had the fervent and uncompromising backing of Tinubu to be the then ACN guber candidate of Ogun State. Now you want to link Tinubu with the demise of Dipo Dina when the entire informed world, minus a Chadian rabble-rouser, know those who are responsible? You are just a pathetic joker. When you change ethnicity to suit your deception why will you not be capable of saying what is entirely ridiculous and telling comical lies to suit your purpose? |
@Topic. Fans of the PDP, historically the most violent and murderous Party in Nigeria bar none, can stay here in hypocrisy playing 'innocentee' and accusing the APC of violence. I am telling you all now that 2015 will be bloody in the SW because the ambition of GEJ has decreed it so. the line has been drawn in the sand and the tactics ( PDP promotion and empowerment of "do or die" thugs in the SW) confirms thus. If we all want to tell ourselves the truth, we will admit that APC brought peace to the SW and an end to the Adedibu-style madness that was the norm under the PDP. Jonathan does not care about anyone or any region and only wishes to return to Aso Rock in 2015. The SW is the game changer and Mr.President knows this. As a callous individual, he is now banking on using the desperation of yesterdays relegated SW thugs, seeking a path back to political relevance after their relegation by the then ACN, to create a force that can secure him electoral might in the SW. Has anyone wondered why, after a period of seeing amiable technocrats everywhere, the PDP has now stormed back with recycling yesteryears "do or die" thugs and rejects like Adesiyan,Obanikoro, Omisore, Fayose, Teslim Folarin et al who only know how to play politics one way i.e the violent way? I went to visit a school friend of mine two days ago and was talking to his dad who is an elderly, well-connected and very knowledgeable Lagos politician who has seen it all. The man told me that the PDP desperation to "capture" Lagos is immense and that they are prepared to do anything. He predicted a lot of bloodshed because of this PDP desperation. GEJ has brought the thugs back and even given them prominent offices in some cases so karma punish any partisan person, omo ales or fakers(like Aljbokoharem) who wants to be playing politics with what every genuine South-Westerner knows to be our truth and reality. We can all support a Party passionately but we all know who brought peace to the SW (APC) and who has always been about chaos, NURTW violence and murder in the region (PDP). Many have already warned that when the armed forces and Presidency has sided with and even promoting the thugs and killers, all for a 2015 agenda, then others who were previously about peace and harmony will be left with no choice but to protect themselves. Is it a coincidence that the violence has started after GEJ publicly declared that Fayose should be deemed the 2015 arrowhead of the PDP in the SW? AljBokoharem and other idiats, I suggest you shut your mouth and refrain from supporting evil which will ultimately affect you if you indeed have a genuine and positive stake in the SW. |
SirMaster101: The fool is a chameleon. He has been on this forum for long and will claim to be Hausa to attack the Igbos, later he said he is from South South and will attack the yorubas. Now, the fool is claiming to be yoruba.I,ve told you all the guy is a Chadian who came to Nigeria when he was young. He has no genuine love or passion for any Nigerian ethnic group and this is why he is able to claim to be Ijaw today, Yoruba tomorrow,Fulani midweek and Kanuri next month to suit the division and chaos he is seeking to promote. He is the biggest two-faced Snake on NL and the most divisively duplicitous poster in the politics section. Caveat emptor. nairalanders, take Aljbokoharem seriously at your own peril. |
PhockPhockMan: I will drop it only when APC and boko haram becomes history.Well, I can't speak for the boko boys but I know APC is going nowhere so you will have to keep your garishly offensive user name for the foreseeable future. |
@Barcanista. Bro you have not been here for long yet you have become one of the most prominent and most famous member of the politics section. What this tell me is you are making a solid impact with your contributions here which resonates with a lot of posters. Don't explain yourself to the charlatans who wish to call you out. You are allowed to change your views and opinion. It is all about what you subscribe to today. With Nairaland, you need to recognise that perhaps up to 70-80% of posters are extremely biased individuals not worth taking seriously or even dignifying with an explanation of your stance. If they view you as a hypocrite or call you out as one, which has happened to me a million times, what does that change in the grand scheme of things? The people who attack me here, for example, have not stopped quoting me religiously over the years which shows that you should not bother with explaining yourself in so far as you come here with a mission of supporting the political Party/policies/directions you feel advances Nigeria's interest. Like-minded folks will always give you a sense of belonging on Nairaland while your detractors will continue to hound you regardless of how you try to pacify them by explaining your real position against the issues they raise about you. Damned if you do and damned if you don't. You might as well disregard them and post what you really want to say without thinking who will like or dislike you. |
Chubhie: honourable Gbawe, I do not believe that line of thought of saying it paid Tinubu then not to decamp to PDP. For christ sakes, it paid off handsomely for Tinubu today not only did he have lagos in his pockets but an entire southwest. He got it all planed from the beginning!!!!! Today Tinubu has done so well for himself that he's now the face of Nigerian opposition leadership gunning for central govt! Can you beat that? He even bigger, better and more relevant than OBJ. I have nothing but Respect for Tinubu. My good brother, there is nothing you claim Tinubu is doing under the APC today he could not have done 50 times worse under the Party (PDP) that is brazen corruption personified. When Tinubu was standing up to the onslaught of OBJ and fighting for political survival do you think he was doing it for the part in bold above or out of principle? Would it not have been the easiest and most financially and politically profitable thing in the world for Tinubu to take the view "if you cannot beat them then join them"? If Tinubu had offered the 'crown jewel' State of Lagos, then the PDP would have been prepared to give him anything he wanted to gain a State that would assists them change the dynamics of Nigerian politics for good. The logic of the reality we all witnessed is there for us to discern even as many prefer to see Tinubu as a man who places money above everything else. |
focus7: The reason why many prefer PDP is because it encourages corruption, the present administration has taking corruption to high heaven. It will go on record that this administration surpass both Babangida and Abacha governments in corruption and other crime. All the perpetrators of corruption, kidnapping, terrorism, drug trafficking, oil theft and bunkery are all Jonas allies and throughout his 5yrs in power there is no record of one person he has prosecuted for one crime rather he shield them.100% correct. In fact, a man facing charges of criminal conduct that put Nigeria at risk seriously (Ifeanyi Ubah of the fuel subsidy scam) is actually working for GEJ today as a TAN coordinator/sponsor. How brazenly immoral is that? Those are the sort of development that shows GEJ hosts real contempt for the sensitivity of ordinary Nigerians and is only interested in abetting his criminal pals, corrupt minions and AGIP cronies. |
Chubhie: If Atiku will offer to "buy APC" you should be more afraid when men as Tinubu are lurking around to cut best deals for himself. I respect Tinubu who takes nothing personal just business. It would have been ridiculously profitable for Tinubu, while Governor, to bow to OBJ and decamp to the PDP to make Lagos part of the ruling Party. Yet we all know the reality which is that Tinubu, because of his immense love and devoting to Lagos and the SW, not only remained the strongest opposition to the PDP in the SW but went on to build a political machinery which ousted the ruling Party from the region almost completely. Yes Tinubu is pragmatic but it defies logic when Nigerians ignore reality to talk as if he is always a "business man available to the highest bidder" when we have many examples to show where the man stood his ground on principles alone and fought for what he believed in. What money do you think Tinubu is looking for at this stage in his life that would make him someone the likes of Atiku can buy? Tinubu plays the game of politics well but what sets him apart is that he still wants the best for Nigeria and Nigerians. This is why, more than any other Political godfather, Tinubu has supported many outstanding individuals into influential office whereas others, like OBJ and GEJ, just look for mindless stooges and 'errand boys' never mind that they are criminal elements likely to bankrupt and regress Nigeria. Tinubu would not support Atiku for money. That is simplistic, unrealistic and an insult to the reality of the man. |
