Lol, some here are secretly praying Buhari makes little impact with this order....lmao sorry ehn. My advice is to call your ND criminals to order, no sane country dialogues with criminals, gone are the days when ND hoodlums get paid cos the inefficient government can't nip the hoodlums (they once used as thugs). Lessons the militants have failed to learn from history should be taught with sorrow, tears and blood. Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria!!! |
Last year December, we had a major project we needed to fast track, I new I was to stay, but I lied saying I was going to SA for vacation and my boss bought it. I called him later that evening to apologize cos I lied and was jus going to Ibadan for Christmas. Since then he sees me as that dude that has no mind to lie. |
nbright:g Ok, the Nigerian police presently is federal. But any police security issue (not the armed forces) in a state is reported to the governor of the state as the CSO, Hence you hear the state govt procuring vehicles and assistance to the state police dept. Basically, each police commissioner gives security report to the state governor first. Hope I've made some sense ? |
nbright:Lol, so you rather we blame the president in Abuja, cos he's from an opposition party. Sigh, so if as a governor my state is filled with thugs and criminals killing everyday, I'd rather shift the blame on the opposition? I see, next intelligent view please.....too many nitwits all around, I seem to understand why people love the Ekiti dude. |
nbright:Please don't sound dumb.... The police is different from the military. Don't shift an intelligent discussion cos you want to make some silly point. The governor is the CSO in a state, having a commissioner that gives security reports. It's better to listen and learn uhm?? Thanks |
OLADD:Let's be objective. You sound vague when you say APC in your statement to issues that where made by individuals, not speaking for the party. Also, sentiments asides, with the impunity the past administration showed in disbursing monies meant for an insurgency fight, to buying apartment buildings, malls, and spend thrifting. Should they have approved the extra billion dollars It would be foolhardy to see evil or crime being committed and we pour blame on past government coffers looters. Let us be above sentiments be it tribalistic, religious, partisan or gender. Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria !!! |
Insults asides though, The president/head of state of a country, enjoys the benefits of that office even after tenure in office. They enjoy security detail and upkeep/salary also. The office of the NSA takes the responsibility of these duties. Statutory means its binding by the statutes of the law. Hope you get the picture now. Insults don't make you any right. Ignorance is no defense. "Long Live The Federal Republic of Nigeria!!! babasanti: |
Little minds find this hard to fathom, nice diplomatic move for peace to reign in our land. Long Live the Federal Republic of Nigeria !!! thorpido: |
Not everything you read is true. People tend to sing different tunes when justice is served. So till you hear the FG's evidence against him. It's just a one sided version. Being an ex-militant, I for one don't believe an iota of what comes out his mouth. I'm sure if it was Asari, you won't either NextGovernor: |
Jesus Christ!!! Monies budgeted for a whole country is systematically shared by those elected to serve. For those saying these figures are exaggerated. Take a trip to ikoyi, Osborne, banana Island. Then find out how much land or rent is, then shut up. Most of the structures in these areas are owned and built with stolen government money. Rents are in dollars, it's shameful, when youth of our times praise and defend looters of state coffers. GEJ created his idea of corruption, which he shamelessly defined in national TV. It's time we teach he and his cronies the real meaning of corruption and facing the music. How does a politician have the funds to buy a billion naira plot of land in banana island. Why don't we ask questions. |
From an engineering perspective, its a shame a state govt project can be carried out with zero HSE practice. Imagine a picture of a governor on a form work without safety boots, for a four storey building he has no safety helmet. Well again its nigeria, NSE can look the other way. |
Could you please tell me just one OUTSTANDING project he has commissioned? GogetterMD: |
Uhm.....when idea and views are being aired, i often assume that there needs to be a level of maturity and this makes views logical and highly cerebal. I wont go down this path with you. Nigeria has gotten to a state where tribalistic and religious sentiments tends to take over logical views. We really need to grow to a stage where we look beyond this, there are so many multi ethnic families these days, you assume I'm free of Ibo blood cause of my view on Biafra and my handle, and you are wrong. Maturity needs to start from each Nigerian, instead of the usual blame game. Thanks, enjoy your weekend. Cheers!!! xtrorse: |
Hate it or love it, the truth needs be told. xtrorse: |
I keep saying this, Kanu has committed treason for his speech and conduct. You cannot fight the unity of a country and expect to be a free man. He has not learnt the lessons from history. Stockpiling arms against a sovereign nation is an act of treason that is liable to a death sentence. All agitators of Biafra should know that in the eye of the law they are criminals and are against the unity of this country. Nnamdi Kanu, is likely going to rot in prison or be assassinated and then his followers would tow the line of MASSOB and become fugitives and wanted criminals. While all this is happening the average Ibo man especially in the south west, would still wake up early to make an extra naira, and life would go on. Long Live The Federal Republic of Nigeria. |
what resources are you referring to please? CR77: |
It seems to be the norm with Nigerians these days, when incidents like this occur, we tend to look for who to blame, due to the political divide it's usually the FG. The honest truth is this, insurgency is a different kind of warfare, it's not a regular war. In this situation these Islamists strike and run, they have no stronghold in the states they strike, instead the blend with the citizens. An understanding of the warfare is needed, before following the bandwagon in blaming the government. Globally internal insurgency never really ends, Israel has been battling with this for over 60 years with all its superior intelligence and arsenal. Let us get off the sentiments of the polity and be constructive in our thinking and objective. Thanks. Long Live the Federal Republic of Nigeria |
@ Acunon My brother, even with serious distrust in this country, I gave money to you for this 22" Smart Samsung TV with so much doubt. The speed at which you delivered it under a day and super working condition, you even helped install my gotv without a dime. You are a true business man. I doff my hat for you bros!!! The sky is your beginning with this attitude

The rate at which politicians concoct fictional figures these days to meddle up the senses of the gullible is interesting, so much slander and libel. I so love the stance PMB has implored in ignoring Fayose, cause each day he keeps sounding more like a child wanting to be noticed. I really dont think he has time advancing his state, when he is all over everybody's business. If he wants to wear the saintly coat, he should declare his assets and not hide behind 1999, that is 16 years ago, lets see what your 'legitimate' money has acquired. |
Fayose the drama queen and attention seeker, he seems to act like a jack of all trades just to get cheap publicity, is this really governance, or a one man show for the people to cheer ![]() |
In my own opinion, judging from your financial standpoint and the judicial snail paced system in the country, I'll advise you go to a mediation centre, find one around your state, its usually in the ministry of justice in the state secretariat, it would cost you nothing, and a letter would be sent to the company to report to the office, this tends to solve disputes. Give it a try for a start. |
Guess we mistaken hangout bars for clubs, all clubs in nigeria (registered ones at least) are soundproof, noise pollution needs to be curbed, The sanction should not be biased though, it should cut across all religions |
hayqinsbFX:I didn't... |
thesoj:Hi, I'm also in this kind of situation, although I did my submission (paper) on the 14th of May, got the "Your processed passport has been dispatched to the Canada Visa Office" mail yesterday. Really have no idea as to what it implies. Keep me posted as she finds out. Thanks. |
