Please help out with this, my experienced ogas.

I received a mail with a copy of i-20 form in PDF format, do I need to get the hardcopy?

What is the next step after I-20?

The Assistantship cover up for tuition fee and living expenses but I-20 came with deficit of about $3600 for book and other stuff. They put family there for this deficit. Can i use statement of account of family members with different surname?

Things did not go as planned here, I have to divert the money schedule for financing the traveling stuff to another place which has to do with a do or die affairs.
Please can I get a foundation that can fund my traveling expenses.

Please treat me questions as one coming from a novice?

Thanks!

This is inhumane, just because he call her beautiful, calling him Bastard anyhow. The urgly thing will secretly be longing for someone to call her same.

Put women in power at your peril. They get emotional over trivia things and take it over board just to prove they are in power. I pity those who nurture female boss.

[quote author=y3mi post=86266945]STFU! How dare you place Burna Boy in a category of greatness with Angelique Kidjo. Just as I said HEREWhile the likes of Burna Boy rides on the legacy of a legendary African as he churns out music that bear no revolutionary connection with the legendary African icon, spewing senseless lyrics drivels that neither reawakens the black consciousness, revolutionary thoughts, nor speak up to the oppressors of our time, Angelique Kidjo keep the ember of what makes us African alive with original musicals that are rife with roots culture and folk tradition. Not that one who's a sad combo of confusing elements. No hating, just been R3A

What is this one spewing So you are wiser than Grammy that nominate him. All i see from your statement is bitterness and hatred.
Am very sure you've never even listening to the album cos if you have you will never type this trash.
Burna that a SAN make reference to on national TV for historical revolutionary song (another story).

When i see your name I shake my head, this is typical of Yoruba race, hatred and jelous for there kinsmen shioor.

Investment / Re: I Want To Venture Into Forex And I Need Your Help by Gbengee: 11:47pm On Jan 01, 2020
somto10:
When some ppl type, they do so with bitterness.
All these ppl saying "Run from forex", "U will squander ur hard-earned money" bla bla, are good examples of the greedy ones that ventured into forex without the education. They hear that forex is paying bigtime, then out of greediness they invest alot without learning d basics and what move the mkt and also follow up with fundamentals. These set of ppl always learn d hard way with big tears on their sorry faces.
Brother, what i want to tel u is that if u wanna learn forex eh, GET THE EDUCATION FIRST.
Don't rush the process.
Ppl saying it will take u 5 to 8 yrs b4 u can profitable in it aren't correct also.
I can categorically tell u dat if u start learning forex ds January, by August or September then u hv started seeing small dollars (remove greediness)
See what u will do, this is what worked for me.

Going reading pdfs and youtube videos will make u learn 4eva without making much progress.
I learnt of recent that some tutors on YouTube aren't gud as they seem.
They explain the charts wen the mkt z closed.

Go find a gud forex mentor. It'll cost u money but believe me it's worth it. Your mentor will put u through adequately. He teaches u d most important things u nid to learn.
Learning without a mentor is like going to Lagos on foot. With a gud mentor is like going on a cool Bus. U can now tell d difference.

I started learning forex ds year. I first saw d advert on nairaland (i have no knowledge abt it b4) Ds guy packed us in a telegram group and kip sending us screenshot of his winning trades.
I later found out he uses indicators and have no original knowledge of what he's saying.
I opened a live account of $200 and blew it up in 2 weeks.
I then went back to the drawing board.
Had intensive training with my new found mentor for like three months, understood his trading strategy, backtested it on a demo for like 2 months b4 i went live nd i was added in a group of good traders, that is how forex saved me.
I start earning cool money from October.
Made my 1st withdrawal on 17th of December.

So bro, the bottom line is GET THE EDUCATION first. Den d money will flow endlessly. Ppl ar making lots and lots of money from forex which i can swear my life on. My mentor will say ' it's the only place u get paid for staying disciplined'

I'm happy i met forex on time. It changed the way i see things. One beauty abt it is financial freedom.
Bro i dunno wat to say again but I'll strongly advise u to learn the basics first. Develop ur own trading strategy. Chose btwn technical analysis and fundamentals, know which one favors u more. Learn and respect RISK MANAGEMENT. Train ur trading psychology, Backtest ur strategy on a demo acc b4 trading with ur money and i swear that YOU WILL NEVA REGRET IT....
This is coming to a once novice like u.
I traded yesterday and d results are all profits although now isn't a good time to trade.

Ask those ppl saying u should stay away from forex why they say so and will b surprised at wat they'll tell u. I haven't seen somone that bent down to learn forex nd regret it today. The lazy greedy fellows that see it as a GET RICH QUICK scheme will b the ones discouraging u.

Ppl spend 4yrs to acquire a uni. degree that won't pay much but won't b patient to learn forex well without venturing and still expect it to pay them millions under a twinkle of an eye. Who does that
Am not saying there are no losses in forex but with proper risk management, u re too safe to blow ur acct.
Forex z the best thing that happened to me ds year and am 4eva grateful.

Forex is good but
The education is better.

Please Mentor me, am ready to learn. Thanks so much.
Music/Radio / Re: Burna Boy’s “African Giant” Vs. Davido’s “A Good Time” Album: Which Is Better by Gbengee: 7:57am On Jan 01, 2020
Burna spew out some strong lines from his album, he's over conscious, there's at least a dope, motivating, inspiring, or eye opening lines from every track in his album. Everyone can relate to his album, the rich, poor, religious, atheist, black, white, street, posh, hustler, ajebo, aged, young, international, local etc
Infact he do love songs in a unique manners.

To me Davido is just an average artists who understand the game, and play it well. I respect him a lot. From almost zero talent to the one rolling the game. But that album is not that wack to me, nothing to learn. Music is not just to sing about love, girls, money, car, yanch, and luxury. Music is a weapon.

Forget the popularity and hype. Africa Giant album is far better in all respect than A good time album.

Churches NEVER help ...they take

No you lie sir.

A church bought all my jss3 textbooks some years ago

Another one gave me bursary on a continual basis during my undergraduate days, my pastor then will empty his food stuff for me and top it with cash whenever am going to school.

A church finance more than 65% of my Msc fees at Unilag.this pastor too will carry in his cars to school everyday, he will give feeding allowance etc.

Those are lifetime investment sir. I will never forget that, and have vow to help the less privilege as soon as I start getting payz.

There are churches around that care about humanity, some are largely into human capital development.

Mind you, if I can afford it, I don't mind gifting those pastors private jet tomorrow.

Thus, your comment is meaningless bro. Never generalize such in future.

This guy is obviously one of the white demon or a thing sponsored by the those folks, I know the white race doesn't want Africa to be independent, this is one of their weapon, to poison and keep poisoning our minds not to believe and rely on our own culture and heritage.

They don't use gun to enslave again, what they now do is to toy with African psych and believe system. They want the black to absolutely depend on them.

Tell me what's good in akatas culture, no values, no respect, no morals, dominant spirit, supremacy, colonialism, capitalism, materialism, discrimination etc

We are doing fine before those fools came to exploit us. So what's good in that. They bastardized everything here. Its still continue simply because of evil, slowpoke, retarded, myopic brainless people like you.

Have checked other tread you opened, am certainly sure you are on mission. But am glad to tell you that YOU HAVE FAIL!!!

Chevron Quitting Nigeria To Focus On Shale Back Home

Sources said that it has started discussing with buyers to sell some of its onshore and near offshore assets in Nigeria.

Chevron is divesting itself from oil fields in Nigeria for the shale fields in New Mexico and Texas.

Sources told Reuters that it has started discussing with buyers to sell some of its onshore and near offshore assets in Nigeria.
Information on the firm’s website shows that it has a 40 per cent stake in eight offshore oil blocks with the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, which holds a 60 per cent stake in the fields.

The company, which is Nigeria’s third largest oil producer, was delivering 194,000 barrels per day, 233m cubic fit of natural gas daily and 6,000 barrels of liquefied petroleum gas as at 2018.
Chevron will not do tenders for any of the assets it intends to sell.

Reuters reports that the company joins Royal Dutch Shell and Exon Mobil in divesting itself of fossil fuel assets in the country.
