Too bad Mourinho doesn't know his best XI yet. To be honest we fans and most football experts don't know either. Once he knows this, we should become almost unstoppable. I hope the title race isn't over by then. |
LoRdCaT:Thanks man |
dmcdad: BarcaBlood: landinfo: dmcdad:Una Well done ![]() |
This thread hasn't changed much. Good to know. ![]() I've been more busy with school work and some other stuff, limited time to post these days. |
Ibime, Congrats. Well done. |

ChristineC:Congrats ![]() |
Sailoxy and Adisaowala Please it's more than enough. |
Mourinho got it all wrong first half. Pep outclassed him. Fair play to him. |
Lingard and miki have been poor so far |

The ABUs and haters are back in full force these days. Surely we must be doing something right. ![]() |
How did this discussion dissolve into something about leagues and comparison? ![]() Case 1 Karl Heinz Rummenigge failing to pay tax on watches; http://www.espnfc.com/german-bundesliga/story/1613004/bayern-munich-ceo-karl-heinz-rummenigge-accepts-fine They let this one go off easily and he paid his penalty/fine but he currently has a criminal record in Germany. ![]() Case 2 Uli Hoeness tax fraud case worth up to €28.5m. He spent time in jail https://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/mar/13/uli-hoeness-sentenced-three-and-a-half-years-prison-tax-evasion-germany He departed the club in tears. https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2016/08/09/13/0750242900000514-3731268-image-a-7_1470744064173.jpg When he got released "The former Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness has been released from prison on suspension after serving half of his three-and-a-half-year jail term for tax evasion, Bavaria’s justice ministry has announced. Hoeness, a former player for the club who was sports director for 30 years before taking over as club president in 2009, was convicted in March 2014 for evading €28.5m in taxes." https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/feb/29/bayern-munich-uli-hoeness-tax-evasion Case 3 Franz Beckenbauer currently Bayern's honorary president ![]() He is facing up to five years in prison after being placed under criminal investigation over his role in the alleged 2006 World Cup bribery scandal. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/09/01/franz-beckenbauer-under-criminal-investigation-amid-world-cup-co/ I can understand if a single past president of a club is involved with fraud and other illegal financial acts because they are human beings too but it becomes worrying when it's actually 2 past presidents of a big club like Bayern. Actually Bayern have 3 presidents involved in such disgraceful acts. We can say one of such individual is simply a bag egg and if we refer to 2 of such events as simply coincidences, what can we say about 3? ![]() I support United and my club is big, successful and very rich; even richer than Bayern so those using these points as excuse sound really foolish. If there's a fraudster at my club, it would be one bad egg at best, but not 3. 3 is too much abeg. ![]() When a club as big as Bayern is run by so many fraudulent people and have them as legends over a long period of time, then surely Bayern must be a fraudulent club. ![]() Fraudulent club! |
A40 so you can defend your club in this way? It's expected. Welldone. I didn't want to drag this issue on initially but it seems you're interested in opening Pandora's box regards this and believe me it won't end well for you. I would address these posts later when I wake up. |
Danhumprey:When a failure and a poor coach like Martinez can beat you to a national coaching job, then just accept your time at the top level is up. LVG is finished; bad market. |
Well I agree Hummels is like Pogba but Pique's is different. Pique broke out and became a regular at Barcelona and although he just left United at the time, he had already spent significant time in Barcelona's academy. Hummels left Bayern, broke out and became a regular at a Dortmund and returned just this year. Pique never became a regular at United, he had to go back to Barcelona and he established himself there. A lot of players spend time in a lot or different academies generally. That's the difference. |
raumdeuter:Barcelona have more easily Busquets, Pique, Messi and Iniesta. |
Nihilist:From Uli hoeness, to Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and now again Franz benckabeur.... You simply can't make these things up ![]() |
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CrN3BHPXYAEGw53.jpg Wenger bullied again into standing. His superiors like Fergie and Mourinho are sitting. Even Conte and young manager Zidane were given a seat. |
“My absolute dream would be to play for Manchester United and help them reach their goals. "I have had conversations (with the club) and I have no problem with Jose Mourinho, he has explained the situation to me from his perspective. "We have to wait to see what happens in September and October and how things will develop, but I will definitely not stop playing football. "It would be a dream to once more show the fans what I can do." From Bastian |
elampiro:Exactly. We better hope for this. Mourinho is the closest being to Fergie and if he's gonna stay with for long, there we should expect a lot of success even with longevity unlike Wenger at Arsenal. |
Lana1:I think you misunderstood me. ![]() |
Lana1:You can't really say such things. In 11/12 we scored 21 goals in the first 5 matches and looked far above the rest. If someone told you then that we would lose the title on goal difference, would you have believed it? No. People should stop getting ahead of themselves unnecessarily. |
Seems we have a new resident lunatic. ![]() |
29 shots 9 on target in this game vs Hull City. It usually takes us at least 3 games to achieve such stats under LVG. ![]() |
UniqueGem:Exactly. Depay shouldn't start PL games if we are serious at all and want to win. He's simply not good enough for the League currently and nothing suggests otherwise. Even Rashford is a far better option than him on the left Yoand should always come in if we need a sub; Currently Jose has Ashley Young ahead of him and Depay didn't even make the squad. |
I think we should be able to grind out wins against the lower button teams. This Hull City team won their first 2 matches in a row and today they put in a shift defensively and were extremely lucky. We scored late but unlike LVG's time we were creating chances( had at least 25 or more) and had at least 7 shots on goal or more. Any other day we could've destroyed them but fair play to them; We got our 3 points. Rashford and Mkhi deserve a start for their work today. 2 of either Rooney, Martial or Mata can come off the bench later. |
Good play from Rooney to provide the assist to be fair, even though he was sh1t almost all match. |
Sircumalot Valdez caused some bad PR for us and Bastian is doing exactly same or even worse. So much for his silence that the German press caught up so much on his issue after he's been talking a lot to his friends in the media, such that even the Bayern president had to comment on his case, and I remember a FIFpro member calling for some stupid act to be carried out on Jose. It's chaos and as bad as you can get. Bastian is at best is milking every sympathy he can get; it's the best he can hope for actually. The reason these things happen actually is because United is quite a cool club and always remain silent on these issues so most times we are seen as the aggressors when it's not true. When the Valdes case started a lot of folks were blaming our management and even LVG but LVG was having none of it; He spoke to the press about what Valdes did and why exactly he froze his out. Then the silly folks and fans who were blaming United before changed their minds with the new information and turned on Valdes. It's so easy for Jose to do similar but I don't think he's even interested in that. Bastian can really fucк for all I care. |
bigkesh:They've got Marc-André ter Stegen. Its complicated really. |
I understand Manchester United is a very big club and easily has the most followers worldwide but I'm usually irritated by the naviety shown by some select few on this board regards the Bastian situation. How can you guys not simply see it's his PR crew vs United management at this moment? I thought his PR guys were working overtime but I mean now I think their job is far more easier than I've been giving them credit for. Bastian now going matches each time in stadium as a fan and tweeting of it? FFS The most recent was this statement he released yesterday and United folks already bought into it as he wanted; Saying United is the only club he wants to play for in Europe or the only club that could make him leave him Bayern doesn't mean SHIТ currently. We were the only big club willing to take a 32 year old who hasn't been fit in about 3 years and offer him a 3 year contract on fat wages; it just had to be an LVG decision and we are still paying for it. The United board didn't want to even take in Bastian at all but it was LVG that ensured they saw to it. We are still paying for LVG's lunancy and some lunatic up here would still be defending him. You couldn't make this up; it fits perfectly. No big club in Europe is even remotely interested take Bastian in this kind of situation not even his dearest Bastian would take back their old sick note legend after making stupid noise in the media because they aren't run by fuскing stupid guys like LVG. So Bastian again milks that perfectly and says United is the only club he wants to play for in Europe. ![]() |
