mine happened at oshodi oke, bros i don go hustle hard all day, i made about #3500, on my return journey i met this dude with all sort of phones displayed on his table, i picked one red phone, the price was too good to be true, ah #1200 for a working phone? What really convinced me was that i made and received calls before payment, bro it was when i got home that things began to fall apart, suddenly my cheap phone began to open from different corners as if the glue that held it had expired, i saw all sort of junk inside my phone that got me wondering how i was ever able to make calls with the junk, i tried selling it but none would buy, eventually i threw it away.

hunger indeed? I.ve slept under the bridge in lagos yet i robbed no one, my childhood friend sent me packing with nowhere to go, yet i robbed no one, i slept countless times at bar beach, yet i robbed no one, i,ve lived on garri for months,yet i robbed no one, my hunger pushed me to hustle hard, i loaded tippers with sharp sand at oworonshoki, worked as labour in countless building sites, sold diesel, sold clothes to bankers and waited till the end of the month for payment, hunger drove me into telecoms installation, thank GOD today i run my own outfit and i,m not complaining, hunger is no excuse, mbaise kwenu, the get rich at all cost syndrome drove this dude into robbery.

I am hurt because I know all what I know now after i've been duped... if I knew then, I would have paid online myself... I am going to collect it tomorrow and I will challenge him and ask for refund of part of the money if not all...

I went to immigration office in Ibadan today to apply for my international passport. On getting there, I consulted one of immigration staffs who was in uniform on how to go about it. He told me that 32pages passport was 27500 while 64pages passport was 35k. I didn't doubt him since he was an immigration staff and I had seen on nairaland that international passport was 27k. I paid and waited for interview and biometric scanning. While waiting, I talked to people around who then informed me that the official amount was and still is 17k. I thought they were joking. Then, I opened immigration website to see the authenticity of what I was told. I saw 17k as official price. I was flabbergasted. I realised that I have been duped of 10500 by immigration staff.

As I am now, I am still in shock and furious at the the same time.

lack of 32 page is the latest scam by the immigration officials, they will tell you to pay #25,000 to #28,000 for 32page but no guaranty as to when it will be ready, then you are asked to pay #35 for 64page, i,ve paid #30,000 for 64page i,ve been waiting for three days now i still have not gotten it, i,m processing mine in Benin edo state, they all claim they have added money, but will never allow you to go to the bank yourself to make payments

4. A drop of acid. Get this in a tiny bottle and when the time is right, use a dispensing droplet and take aim very surreptitiously dropping just one drop each on the two holding straps and watch it melt away. This is recommended for only Airforce tacticians and Airfirce personnel.

5. Where all these fails, just beg.

Military Recaptures Dikwa as Air Chief Tour Operational Units

A concerted effort by the Nigerian Air Force and the Nigerian Army has led to the recapture of Dikwa town in Borno #State earlier today. A combination of the Nigerian Air Force Alpha Jet and surveillance aircraft jointly destroyed three ambush points heavily fortified with vehicle-mounted Anti-Aircraft Guns.

This paved the way for the Nigerian Army to move in and recapture the town with less resistance. Cordon and search operations are currently on-going in the town by the Nigerian Army.

Air Commodore Dele Alonge, Director Public Relations of the Nigerian Airforce has confirmed this development.

Meanwhile the Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Sadique Baba Abubakar has,concluded his tour of operational units to acertainthe state of equipment and morale of troops, especially those nvolved in the counter-insurgency operation against Boko Haram terrorist group in North-East Nigeria.

AVM Abubakar disclosed that the purpose of his visit was to obtain first-hand information about the operational readiness of the men and equipment with a view to enabling the NAF to requip and restrategise for operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Units visited by the CAS include 64 Air Defence Group, Makurdi; 75 Strike Group, Yola; 97 Special Operational Group, Port-Harcourt and 99 Air Combat Training Group, Kainji.
