This is an indictment on the character of me and you as average Nigerians. It has nothing to do with President Buhari and all those who have Special and diplomatic passports.

Also Somali's came here to attack us one time because a Somali put up a topic about somali''s being beautiful they assumed a Nigerian put it up and stared a series of topics and barrage insults. You do not realise how powerful the Internet is and how much consequence misinformation has.

Others mire notably, USA, Russia even North Korea use misinformation to make the world and their people think they are the greatest nations on earth and respect or fear them yet they are not the greatest in anything not live expectancy, education, health care, hospitality, etc yet we have the illusion that they are we use misinformation to destroy our selves and our economy.
I don't blame them because they are being cautious for their own safety and keeping their people and money away from us. I blame us for furthering and letting the misinformation grow and laughing over it.

This, without doubt, is one of the most sensible posts I have read on NL. A lot of ignorant folks say a lot of spiteful things about our dear country just because the don't like the president or hate a certain tribe not knowing that they are doing themselves great disservice. No matter what you do or say, you are still a Nigerian and that's how the international community sees you. The earlier we understand this fact and stop acting like morons the better for us.

I drive a 2005 Honda accord v6 with navigation but the problem is it didn't come with the dvd so that screen is just idle. All it displays is "insert disc"
Does anyone has an idea of where I can purchase the navigation dvd for this model and what is the price range please.

Padre I'm not all about whether or not they are restructuring. All I'm pointing out is the " adequately compensated" part as though it's a done deal;that clause is yet to be fulfilled.
If they wanted to make the compensation in a year's time they should have simply stated it in the termination letter instead of this weak leave days defence you are coming up with but I guess you know better.

Let me weigh into this Heritage Bank news with authentic information. I think one of the major issues that Heritage Bank has had in the past is the lack of communication when bad press begins to start, but i like this Fela Ibidapo administration, more grease to his elbows....

Now to the matter at hand, Heritage Bank laid off staff and this lay off was done late last year. all the legacy Heritage Bank senior staff and close to retirement age staff of the acquired Enterprise Bank were asked to go and their compensation started from 1YEAR BASIC SALARY (WITHOUT TAX), 1YEAR HMO COVERED PLAN FOR THE AFFECTED STAFF AND THIER FAMILIES, writing off of the existing staff loans just to name a few.

Majority of the affected staff especially those from the Acquired Enterprise Bank staff had at most 1year till retirement and 98% had trained their kids through school with most of them working in good organizations, and only a few junior staff were affected and these staff had existing disciplinary cases against them.

Bro/sis this is a blatant lie...
More so, the compensation has only been on paper, no monetary value yet. According to the termination letter all entitlements were supposed to be paid within 30 days of executing the letter ( from 16th December) but till date no show. Besides the compensation is meagre as management trainees got a little above 500k while executive trainees got 700k plus.
Lastly a lot of junior staff were affected without pending disciplinary issues.

I'm a graduate of industrial design(Bsc.) from ABU, class of 2012. I have a year's experience in the banking sector and I want to enroll for an MBA(professional) at NOUN. Do I need to bag a PGD first, considering the fact that I have a science background or I can go straight for my MBA as it is a professional certificate I want??
Any information will be highly appreciate.

The application form requires your work experience so I'm supposing it counts. However, you should be sure you are qualified before applying else the system might give you another course. In that regards, I suggest you visit the nearest study center ASAP.
