Tension In Ebonyi As INEC Names Ex Governor, Elechi As South East Returning Officer

There is currently heavy tension in Ebonyi State as the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has named former governor of the state, Martin Elechi as South East Returning Officer.

Elechi is a well-known All Progressive Congress Chieftain and is not in good terms with Ebonyi State governor, David Nweze Umahi.


In 2015, Elechi refused to support Umahi to become the state governor, instead he backed the candidate of Labour Party who later failed.

Also, Chief Augustine Nwankwegu, a former Speaker of the State House of Assembly who was sacked by Governor Dave Umahi as Commissioner for Justice has been named as Ebonyi state returning officer.

According to report obtained by  Umahi is in shock following the announcement of Elechi as the returning officer for South East and Chief Nwankwegu as Ebonyi state returning officer.

Umahi is said to be sad over the development and has moved to make sure both of them are removed.

Imaging what election postponement has caused this poor widow who used #5000 to prepare kunu for those that would be coming to vote. Shae has lamented to have used most of her savings.

Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo has confirmed the receipt of ‘almost’ $100, 000 (N30 Million) pledged by Nigerian Billionaire Femi Otedola, for the medical bills of movie veteran and Tinsel actor Victor Olaotan who is currently receiving treatment from injuries he sustained from an accident in October 2016.
Last December, Otedola promised to foot the bills for Olaotan’s treatment after another Tinsel actor Gbenro Ajibade started a campaign to help raise money to fund an overseas medical treatment. RMD at that time took to Instagram to narrate how he reached out to the billionaire who later called him back to bear the cost.
Yesterday, Otedola redeemed his pledged and once again, RMD took to his Instagram to appreciate him for his kind gesture.
The actor said; “Valentine has come and gone for many but for me I am still overwhelmed by the best valentine gift yet, a text from a man who has in a short space of time become friend and brother @femiotedola confirming that he has released just a little less than $100,000 (USD) for the commencement of the treatment of my brother and friend Victor Olaotan. I just wanted to share this here not to flatter Femi but to reiterate that you are what you do not what you say you will do.
Thank you my brother @femiotedola for proving that you are a man of your words. God bless you.”

EC'S INTENDED OSUN TEMPLATE BUSTED BY THE UNITED STATES

Nigerians should be grateful to the United States for saving our democracy today. This is why the party in power got frustrated about the international communities interference at one point and threatened “body bags” because they know, “Americans would know”.

We are a sovereign state, agreed, but there was nothing Nigerians would have done tonight to prevent Mohammadu Buhari from rigging this election, if not for the intervention of the USA.

The Buhari government in collaboration with INEC had an agenda on how to rig the election in favor of Buhari. This was what they were planning to execute tonight with the postponement drama when the United States government got a wind of it and called the INEC Chairman not to dare.

THEIR PLAN:

The strategy was to allow elections hold in 26 states and postpone it in 10 states. For the ten states, they had two plans: late arrival of election materials and security crisis.

The idea was to deliberately allow materials arrive late as we are already witnessing in some states, and INEC would have no option but to postpone elections in those states.

For instance, the aircraft that was supposed to deliver materials to Enugu was told it can't land because of bad weather conditions and it had to land in Port Harcourt. Right before us, elections in Enugu would have been postponed.

The crisis template was executed in Kaduna today. The news of Kaduna State killings of 66 people today was part of the plan to create an atmosphere of catastrophic so that INEC would postpone the election in Kaduna State citing security challenges. The news of the killings was fabricated and sponsored by the 3 inches 'body bag' Governor of that state.

For the 26 states that election would have held, the plan was to watch out for the outcome. If it favours Atiku, whatever the margin is, they would deploy heavy security agents to ensure they get enough votes to cover up the margin in the 10 states that elections were to be postponed as they did in Osun state.

With this plan, Buhari would be elected back as president, but the US said, NO!

Elections across the 36 states must hold simultaneously, they insist.

The Effects and Reasons for postponing the 2019 Election

From our poll, It has been noted that this might be one of the Plans to frustrate the international election observers in the country....
Warranting that these will cost them more money waiting until Saturday.
(so before now INEC does not know if they were set for the elections or not...)

This has also caused a big harm and damage to those who traveled for the election making them to spend
more money to return to their normal base.

But to crown it all, they are just Looking for a conducive environment to rig the 2019 election as usual.

Less than 24 hours to the presidential and National Assembly elections scheduled for Saturday, sixty-six people have been killed by gunmen in Kajuru Local Government Area (LGA) of Kaduna State.
They were killed on Friday.
Among those killed are 22 children and 12 women.
Speaking on the incident, Nasir el-Rufai, Governor of Kaduna State, expressed sadness at the development, and said the perpetrators would be brought to book.
Meanwhile, the Kaduna State Government has condemned the killing and warned all communities against instigating attacks or reprisals.
A statement issued by Samuel Aruwan, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor (Media and Publicity), on Friday, noted that four persons who sustained injuries have been rescued by security agencies and are now receiving medical attention.
The statement read: “Security agencies today reported the recovery of 66 bodies that were killed in attacks by criminal elements on various dispersed hamlets in the Maro Gida and Iri axis of Kajuru LGA. The settlements affected include Ruga Bahago, Ruga Daku, Ruga Ori, Ruga Haruna, Ruga Yukka Abubakar, Ruga Duni Kadiri, Ruga Shewuka and Ruga Shuaibu Yau.
“Among the victims were 22 children and 12 women. Four wounded persons rescued by the security agencies are now receiving medical attention.
“Government condemns the attacks and commiserates with the families of the victims. Security agencies have been deployed to the area and arrests have been made. Government urges community, traditional and religious leaders in the area to encourage residents to avoid any reprisal attacks and to leave the matter in the hands of the security and law enforcement agencies. The killings are being investigated and residents are assured that indicted persons will be prosecuted.
“Residents of Kaduna State are enjoined to uphold peace and harmony, shun violence and allow the elections to be held in an atmosphere of calm. Any suspicious activity should be reported to the security agencies in person or through the following lines: 09034000060 and 08170189999.”

This is Nigeria, every thing is possible and achievable.
