I'm 42 years old and married with 3 children (2 boys and a girl). I got married to this beatiful lady 13 years ago and everything was bliss until three years ago when my business experienced a serious down turn.

My wife on the other hand witnessed an upturn in fortunes and practically became the bread winner in the home.

Her good financial fortune had me focussed on trying to get myself back on track. I tried getting a job, but it was not forth coming.

My business continued to dwindle and then I resorted to doing small odd jobs just so I could contribute to the family upkeep.

My wife's upturn in fortune however brought out the ugliness in her. She started trying to assume control of the home. She stopped consulting me on decisions concerning our home, rather consulting her parents. She practically turned my kids against me as she painted me as irresponsible.

We initially had assess to each other's account, but now she has accounts hidden from me. I just found out she bought land somewhere, though she doesn't know I have that knowledge.

She has become rude and disrespectful and her parents and siblings have taken over my home. I am so pained because all I ever did was show her love and respect.

She didn't like the fact i tried to have order in my home and that seems to be my sin. I have never hit her or been wicked to her.

Right now, I'm pained and confused. I don't know what to do. Someone please help.

Your argument here will not quench the fire in Edo politics right now. Most of you go partisan in your contribution to this matter. The truth is that the Edo People are tired of political rhetoric and the economic exploit of the godfatherism syndrome in Nigerian politics.
We the Edo People need a true Leader who is genuinely committed to giving us economic and social leaverage in the State. Under the present dispensation, payment of salaries and pension for workers and retirees in the State are paid as an when due. Roads and other infrastructure are maintained.
Oshiomole was Ok when he was in government, but right now that he has a challenge at the State level, I think he should soft-pedal and allow his predecessor complete his tenure in office rather strangulating him politically. Methinks there is no fund for the usual political extravaganza associated with the previous government! Or what's your opinion on this issue?

Democracy is considered the fairest and perhaps the most appropriate form of government.; little wonder therefore that it is the most recommended and the most adopted form of government the world over.

Nigeria adopted the practice of full democracy in 1979 under Alhaji Shehu Shagari's government and thereafter had a spate of Military rule before the commence of this present democratic government that has made our parliamentarians billionaires.

I remember that some years back a leading politician once said that Nigeria was not ripe enough yet for a full-blown democratic government. The truth about this statement is becoming very glaring and starkly obvious. Aside the questionable and fraudulent means most politicians use in forcing their way into office, the law makers also fix for themselves, robust salaries and allowances running into billions of Naira as salaries and remuneration for their short period of stay in office. This billing is considered outrageous in most quarters especially when it is obvious that an average Nigerian Senator earns far more than the President of the United States of America!

This uncontrolled salary and allowances of the Law Makers probably averages more than 20 per cent of the National Expenditure yearly. The bitter truth is that nobody is even considering reducing this exorbitant spending on governance both at the National and State levels of government.. If this trend goes unchecked, the economic situation of the country may worsen.

The Nigerian economy now, going by statistics, is in depression and the situation may become even more deplorable if the salaries and allowances of Law Makers and Governors are not reviewed downward!

The contemporary youth and sex are like identical twins!
Sex is so cheap now that older married woman give it for free to men half their age!
In best old times, a kid like Wizkid wouldn't even dream of having sex with a woman not to talk of being a father of children from different mothers!
You know, there are two things a typical Nigerian youth thinks about:: money and sex!
