chaiks:Sorry for late response bro. As I said, you need to do alot of research, getting full tuition waiver or even full scholarship has higher probability with the top schools. So, just take one of the rankings, probably the CUG ranking and check the top 30-50 schools for your course, then goto each of their web pages one after the other and navigate extensively on the scholarships they offer. By the time you do this, trust me you'll be overloaded with information. Some schools I can remember presently that do offer full scholarship/tuition are Oxbridge, Nottingham, Loughborough, Sheffield I think, Glasgow, Dundee etc. As I said, research. I wish you the best bro. |
chaiks:Yes, there are many. Some offer full tuition waiver, some 50% and other different types of waiver. Usually, you have to go to the school sites and search. |
mimilyrics:Interesting. Never knew that. Thank you |
mimilyrics:Is this applicable to all airlines or a particular one? Also, all milk and milk products? Meaning something like powdered Peak Milk sachet of 500g is prohibited? |
Renee25:In addition to what mimilyrics has said with respect to your question. For priority, if you are applying using this link https://visas-immigration.service.gov.uk/apply-visa-type/tier4 (which I assume you are), then there's no problem with with paying $784 for the visa application and priority once and for all. When you are printing out your application, "Priority Service" will boldly be written on it and your checklist and your application will be treated as such. You do not have to pay 212 pounds on TLS again. This is based on my personal experience just two weeks ago. As regards pilot schools, if your school is not one of Oxbridge, Bath and I think Imperial, please submit all necessary documents for safety sake, other pilot schools aren't being treated as such for now, to the best of my knowledge. On my interview day, everyone I saw was interviewed regardless of pilot scheme or not. So it is better to prepare to be interviewed. And even if you are going to any of the school I mentioned above, still prepare to be interviewed. |
babaode2018:All the best bro |
babaode2018:Same here, only the Tuition waiver. But still optimistic for other ones. Applied for same course? |
Suplexx:Congrats bro |
babaode2018:Yes I did... You also did? |
trinityconcept:PM me |
Suplexx:Oh, Now I understand you |
Pwettypeppy:I applied to only University of Tartu, Computer Science and Software Engineering. The admission I received was for Computer Science. I am waiting for the Software Engineering decision. |
Suplexx:I applied for two courses and I have not accepted the admission yet, the mail I received from dreamapply stated explicitly that: "the results for the other programme will be announced also during the next days" |
Thanks everyone |
Update: Those yet to receive admission decisions should still keep calm. it is still rolling out. I just received mine now from dreamapply. Accepted for my first course, awaiting decision for my second course. Best of luck to everyone. |
Estiperson:So far, I do not think anyone can categorically tell you which one is best. From earlier pages on the thread, it can be seen that people have tried different routes and each has somehow worked for at least one person. Although, majority of those in Estonia now seem to have gone through the India route. Best of luck. |
Hello guys, Please I need anyone willing to swap for Tuesday, 10th April at 10:30am. |
godfavour84:You have indeed answered all my questions comprehensively. thank you very much for your time and God bless. |
chaiks:Thanks boss |
richinex:Lol...Haba |
slysite4real:Thanks boss |
From my readings on the thread so far, it seems many people had problems with paying application fees, from my personal experience, you can pay application fees with GTBank Naira MasterCard on almost any platform in the world. I paid for UT using the same card. |
I acknowledge everyone who has contributed to this forum, this is my first time here. I got to know about Estonia a couple of weeks back. I applied for MSc Computer Science and Software Engineering in University of Tartu last week and received positive feedback for both courses today. I am counting on securing full scholarship from the University given the info I found on their course pages. The mail I received says results will be announced latest May 15. My question to my bosses here is majorly concerning the Visa as it seems to be the greatest hurdle from what I have read so far on previous threads. Please, I need someone to authoritatively (if possible) 1. confirm which is the best route of applying for Visa 2. give a rough estimate of how much it will cost to apply for the Visa through this route 3. give an overall advice on what I should do next before May 15 I have a BSc in Computer Science with a 4.71/5.00 CGPA. I will really appreciate your responses. |
The bigger the battery (that is the more the mAh), the better it is (that is the more last longing it is). The above is a very common orientation of many people on how battery works in Smartphones. Unfortunately, this is not always the case as there are so many things that determine the battery life of every Smartphone and the battery life also has categories. Andy Walton of sciencing.com explains that Batteries with larger mAh ratings generally last longer than those with smaller ratings, assuming that the batteries are subjected to the same patterns of usage, but it may not mean a better battery. The milliampere hour represents a unit of electrical charge commonly used to measure battery capacity. It is often described as the size of a battery’s fuel tank, as it measures the total amount of energy the battery supplies in an hour when fully charged. Usually, some people do not mind charging their phones very often....... Continue reading on the link https://techreviewsng.com/2018/02/04/battery-matters-part-4-important-things-consider/

You would recall recently in December, Apple accepted and acknowledged the fact in an effort to preserve ageing batteries, it was slowing down the speed of iPhones. On Wednesday, Apple responded to reports that the Justice Department and Securities and Exchange Commission are probing its decision to throttle older iPhones, confirming that the U.S government has asked questions. Apple said it would never intentionally “degrade the user experience to drive customer upgrades. “About a year ago, we delivered a software update that improves power management during peak workloads to avoid unexpected shutdowns on certain iPhones with older batteries. We know that iPhones have become an important part of the daily lives of our customers and our intention was to improve the customer experience.” “We sought to further improve the customer experience in December by announcing a significant discount on replacement batteries for certain iPhones. We also announced that we began developing a new iOS feature to show battery health and which would recommend when the user should consider replacing their battery. These actions were taken to further assist our customers and help extend the life of their iPhones. In addition, users will be able to see if the power management feature is being used to prevent unexpected shutdowns, and turn if off if they so choose. These features will be included in a developer release next month and a user release this Spring.” Full report on https://techreviewsng.com/2018/02/01/never-degrade-iphone-user-experience-customer-upgrades-apple/ |
MWC 2018 is just around the corner, kicking off on February 26th. Even more exciting is the impending announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus the day before. The big question left is what these phones look like and what differences they may pack. And now we have the answer, as a new render leak reportedly shows off the front of both of these new flagship phones from Samsung. As previously reported VentureBeat, more than screen dimensions will separate the two models this year (the Galaxy S8 and S8+, in contrast, are nearly identical save for their Super AMOLED display diagonals). However, as this year is mostly a component upgrade following a comprehensive redesign in 2017, neither the 5.8-inch S9 nor the 6.2-inch S9+ will be significant departures from their predecessors. henry007:Does not seem like you still get the theme |
Samsung S9 seems to be the phone that will burst everyone’s brain for 2018. Although we are yet to have a hands-on review of the feature Samsung seems to have improved on the most- the camera (going by the invitation sent to the media. Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ in one month’s time on February 25 but we already have a pretty good idea what the phones will looks like thanks to recent case renders. Now, thanks to a fresh case leak we get to see even more of the bigger Galaxy S9+. The Galaxy S9+ is seen fitted in Poetic cases in two color variants – Grey and what looks like Orchid Silver. The phone’s front looks indistinguishable from the current-gen Galaxy S8+ but the back features the new dual camera and the properly-placed fingerprint scanner. It’s a new year and a new Samsung flagship, the anticipated Samsung Galaxy S9 has been officially announced by Samsung to be unveiled on February in Barcelona, Spain. The top electronic and mobile brand has sent invitations to the media to attend the Samsung ‘s Press event. This will take place a day before the Mobile World Congress (MWC) conference commences. Samsung is expected to announce the its newest flagships- the Samsung Galaxy S9 and the S9+. The invitation shown above has a number 9 and the words: “The Camera Reimagined”. This shows we should be expecting some super special camera. Based on leaks so far, Samsung use its new ISOCELL sensors for both versions of the phone, so we might see higher frame rates in slow motion on the device: 480 fps @ 1080p. As for the phones themselves, the Galaxy S9 is rumored to sport a 5.8-inch display with rounded corners, an 8 MP selfie sensor, a 12 MP rear sensor, 4 GB of RAM, and 64 GB of storage. The Galaxy S9 Plus, meanwhile, will reportedly be similar to its smaller cousin, save for the larger 6.2-inch display, dual rear cameras, and 6 GB of RAM. We can also expect a bump in performance and somewhat faster wireless charging. The 15W fast-charging model isn’t expected to change this time around, though. The phone is also reportedly going to open for pre-orders starting the day after the event: February 26 with units shipping to customers on March 16. https://techreviewsng.com/2018/01/25/samsung-unveil-galaxy-s9-february-25/

In a bold move by the Snapchat company and in a desperate move to keep their users, the company has announced that as from Wednesday, it will roll out a new feature which will allow Snapchat users to be able to share their stories on other social media apps. This is needed to prevent their users from crossing over to Instagram. Story posts will now be easily shareable on Facebook and Twitter provided users have their accounts linked together and can then be viewed directly from these platforms. Users will also be able to send a link via email or text to someone who is not on either platform such that they can view the stories through a link on a web browser. The feature will be available to users in the coming weeks. https://techreviewsng.com/2018/01/24/snapchat-stories-can-now-shared-social-media/
