He probably sold already at 50. That was his target price.

SonofElElyonRet:
Not as soon as Peter "the Promoter" was saying though grin
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by GeeKudi: 10:38am On Mar 04
I believe it will still be available at around 740 - 790 in the next few days.

Sunrisepebble:
I had cash when I saw it at 720, but was waiting for it to fall below 600 to load heavy again. Unfortunately I didn’t get the chance.
I think at current price it will give you 7% div yield at year end. Not many companies can do that considering how they have appreciated
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by GeeKudi: 10:23am On Mar 04
I'm just waiting to have more cash. I'm diving in deep into it. I see it in the multiples of the current price in the next two years as they become a top dividend payer in the market.

Sunrisepebble:
There was a point where I was arguing the case for the stock here last year with some. I couldn’t believe it

Change of personnel maybe. They probably changed too many experienced staff at the same time.

jonnysessy:
Thank you for this information.
I believe Morgan Capital issues arose from biting more they can chew they used to very be effective. I transferred money the other day, they made a mistake by crediting me with a wrong amount. It took me 3 emails before it was corrected and eventually i missed trading this particular day. This is a company i registered online, never knew anybody or their location. But, they used to be very efficient and effective. But, i can't say what happen within the last 3 months

Loco and his guys are the Whales
Whales can hit head against rock....lol.

They're knowingly packing fake offers at day's high just to depress the price.....
No wahala, if it comes down opportunity to buy more.
* Anyone that likes should allow the Whales to deprive them of the opportunity presenting itself.....

* My dream price for JAPAUL as posted here before : N7.50
* With Gold in the picture: It will be above this....
* When can this be achieved? I don't know.

These two names have really sufferred in your hands. Maybe you should take it easy with them?

megawealth01:
The problems of Oando and Japaul na Wale and Jegede. The day they start reasoning like their former colleagues (Tony and OTEDOLA). You won't get their companies at bargain rates again...

It was this oil mill stunt that got me completely pissed off. It was supposed to be the game changer we all hoped for. Man said the mill would be commissioned in June, even uploaded blue roof photos on twitter.

Agbalowomeri:
How many more false claims do we need? I thought by now Ellah palmoil would have captured some market shares going by his claim of installing the mill by July last year.

If he truly claims that ELLAH plans to pay dividend then he comes across as another cowboy playing to defend a stock price
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by GeeKudi: 10:38am On Feb 26
This has been the story with TRANSCORP. Excellent result, no price movement.

Sunrisepebble:
I don’t understand why the stock does not move. Do people place that much importance on Div? It’s a good result, this year they can do N10 EPS
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by GeeKudi: 9:42am On Feb 26
Just saw the clarification from Sunrise. It would be 4.8% FY. I think it's fair enough.

Maybe there is anyone in Niger State who could help confirm what is on ground at this Libeli Mine site? If we can't trust/believe info released through corporate actions by company on regulators' platforms, are we not in trouble like this?

emmanuelewumi:
You have to be careful believing everything corporate managers are telling you, if not you will learn the hard way.

It is advisable to do your personal research about the company and not just rely on what you read in the social media especially when we consider the antecedents of the company
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by GeeKudi: 6:52pm On Feb 25
Tbh, Japaul has always been like this, always crumbling at circa 3. I had only hoped that they (the whales grin) were going to let it run its course this time going by that corporate action.

If an illiterate ask these two questions, then you simply sit them down and tutor them. But coming from a suppossedly lettered fellow, you just ignore because you can see through their veiled curiosity.
You know about the removal of fuel subsidy and the elimination of the arbitrage on the exchange rate by floating the naira, two important policies Nigerians were unanimous about in rescuing the economy and you want someone to start answering these two mischievious questions you are asking?
If you critique like a politician in opposition (they largely suspend their brains while doing so because they must not agree with govt), you are simply begging people to treat you like them.

mikeapollo:
I asked 2 questions which none of you could answer on behalf of your perfect, blameless, govt.
After saying I was playing an ostrich without answering my questions, you now want me answer your questions?
Please answer my original questions first, or you face front:
1. Was N1,200:$1 what the govt promised Nigerians?
2. Was N1,200:$1 what the govt inherited?

I only said that I refuse to be a hypocrite and a bigot. I did not accuse or call anyone to be so
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by GeeKudi: 1:13pm On Feb 25
The question he asked you is what makes you think any opinion that does not align with yours is coming from a place of tribal, religious etc sentiments (those adjectives you used) but yours are heaven inspired?

mikeapollo:
It's fine, you can call me all the adjectives because your darling govt is faultless, perfect and cannot be critiqued.
Apparently, you are not affected like us the masses. You are still collecting from everybody (your name says it all).
God dey.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by GeeKudi: 11:43am On Feb 25
Na to just keep cash and watch for now. I can't see what to buy.

crownprince2017:
E be like say regulators this days now watching with eagle eyes.

U do anyhow, u collect. grin
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by GeeKudi: 11:25am On Feb 25

Anyone with an insight on TRANSCORP, please?
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by GeeKudi: 11:13am On Feb 25
His thought process is celestial, his ethnicity is heavenly. What an unbiased angel living among us!

Agbalowomeri:
And why do you think the position you hold does not qualify for these adjectives?
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by GeeKudi: 9:42am On Feb 25
Dangote is a business man. You can be sure he cannot abandon his own interest in whatever arrangement he is making with the distributors. Those trucks won't be useless.

Agbalowomeri:
Na 10k trucks o

Make he sell am to us
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by GeeKudi: 9:38am On Feb 25
I agree with you, sir. But for his struggles, they would have boxed him into their preferred corner. I only sympathize with him on the cost of those struggles.

emmanuelewumi:
He needed to do that when he started, those guys planned to frustrate him. Now they are on bended kneels and the regulator intervened
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by GeeKudi: 9:04am On Feb 25
Distributing fuel himself was always going to overwhelm him. People sometimes don't realize how big Nigeria is.

InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by GeeKudi: 3:20pm On Feb 23
The rally is speculative for obvious reasons of which the veracity of their gold reserve is not part. The cause of panic sell by investors today is also extraneous.

awesomeJ:
When you call it a speculative rally, aren't you exactly making my point??
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by GeeKudi: 3:14pm On Feb 23
Exactly. I didn't sell from my main account today at all, but I made about 12% day trading the stock on my jijo account.

KarlTom:
Let's wait until JAPAUL gets a CPR for the explored gold.

I want to check something. Until then, let's keep the JIJO alive... grin
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by GeeKudi: 3:03pm On Feb 23
Your assessment is not very fair.
The rally is premised on the released coorporate action signaling the commenecement of gold mining SCHEDULED TO BEGIN AT A LATER DATE. So, it is speculative at best because "what if it does not happen?" or "if there is a shift in the announced date?". It was never a case of whether the gold reserve is 'not well grounded'.
In addition to the events of Ellah failure and Zichis suspension, there was a press release by the regulators warning investors about rising prices of some stocks. There was no way a speculative rally could have survived these combos. Japaul closing in the green today is an indication that people have some level of hope that they will have their first gold pour soon as envisaged. If the MM can put in a little effort to help stabilize the price tomorrow, I see the rally resuming.

awesomeJ:
I wasn't.

I'm only saying the fact that news of suspension could trip its run indicates shallowness inherent in the run.

$1.8bn of actual gold reserves would have made it a well grounded run.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by GeeKudi: 2:12pm On Feb 23
You saw it too? grin grin Because I was just wondering the level of adrenaline pumping in his system on Japaul grin

crownprince2017:
Loco just discovered he left so much on the table when he left japau bus.. grin grin

That thing they pain.. grin grin grin
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by GeeKudi: 1:53pm On Feb 23
Whales, crocodiles, anaconda, distribution, expantiation grin grin Prof Loco has propounded a lot of theories on Japaul today alone enough to last a long time.
