Here is saying a prayer.

For these warriors who amidst pain and discomfort find a way to live through life..

For the young innocent kids in dis category who are conceived and birthed into uncertainty by ignorant or just plain selfish parents...

You warriors make it difficult for some of us to give up on living no matter how hard life is.

May you find more strenght for each day and hope for tomorrow.

P.s: And to those foolish AS + AS lovers that are still foolishly thinking of going ahead with that marriage. Its not worth it. The uncertainties and risks are just too many. Let it go abeg.

Health › Re: Positive Outlook To Life As An HIV Positive Person. by geekybabe(f):
Lol.. is HIV a death sentence?

Some countries have a high HIV rate and they still live their lives. In South africa alone, statistics says about 6 or 7 pple out of 10 have d virus. And yet these pple get pregnant and have healthy babies dat do not have the virus. Their govt even gives them free ARVs.

Just dat in Nigeria, even the simplest malaria can look like a death sentence attimes. Govt does not seem to be bothered in anyway..

You can live your life bro. Start living and stop worrying.

Why not get rid of the pimples.. Apply the one and only fruit which is known to smoothen the face... Then take enough water for a fresh skin and then go on with your makeup..

This is the reason why many ladies grow older than their age and they claim that it is natural for a lady to get older very fast..

Lolss.
Being a female engineer is interesting. Pple look at you differently. Like you are some wonder. There is this respect and regard you get when pple know you are an engineer. You even get privileges easily on the job.
Its a world of men in engineering tho. I am glad its gradually changing.

I thought foreign nationals of mainly African origin are avoiding SA universities due to xenophobic prevalence in that country, how come they are still maintain many top spots?
Lols. If only you knew the massive inflow of nigerians..kenyans..Zimbabweans and others that come into SA annualy for study. I am talking thousands.

The university settings are relatively free from all this violence and xenophobia.

You pple keep celebrating rubbish. Lol. A step out of your country and you will understand the depth of your myopia and ignorance. Instead of you to make demand for quality education from your govt u r celebrating old glory.

Sincerely you just gotta give it to South african government. They invest heavily in education and its paying off. They produce quality research thats gaining world attention because they invest and value education.

Funny enough many nigerians are contributing largely to the research outputs in this schools.

Infact I'll say at least 40% of the research outputs in this SA schools are done by foreigners (nigeria, zimbabwe, congo and kenyans being the major players)

I want to flying into Durban for a conference any moment from now. I have been telling my contact person to get a cheap hotel or accommodation where I can stay for few days but he has been busy because he is one of the officials organising the conference. He told me they don't ask about where one is going to stay at the point of entry. Pls is this true? Accommodation is delaying me from booking a flight now.
Let your contact send you his proof of residence and his passport details. Let him attach a letter saying he will be hosting you during the conference. Else..go and book an hotel.

Can anyone help with booking flight options? I have admission to start my Msc in mathematics at the university of Kwazulu Natal starting in July. I have been given the study permit as well. I am left with booking for a flight to south Africa. I need your help here, especially those already in the same region of South Africa. Thanks in advance. Please include the fare range of different itinerary.
Booking a ticket is easy. Go to any of these online portal.. specify your travel dates. And check prices.

Depends on your budget. You options
1. Take a direct flight to durban on south african airways or ethiopian airways..
2. Take a flight to johannesburg(rwanda..kenya..south african airways..ethiopian..asky..) and opt to travel to durban by road..

Second option is relatively cheaper but can be stressful for a newbie.

P.s not the departure and arrival times for your flights. Also note the number of hrs u will wait if u book a flight with stop overs. I.e Rwanda and Kenya.

You dey mind the hypocrites. Moji no get life insurance? If she is that important, why would anyone need money to fly her body home? Government is for the living. Dead people dont count. Unless you are a walking-dead.

Tonye, i agree with you once again. grin
Life Insurance in Nigeria? lol. Not happening bro. Dont mind these actors. Already politicizing her burial. Imagine Foluke daramola posting images of moji in apc shirts on her page.

Why get politicians involved? Why cant they raise money among themselves if she meant that much to them? Or what happened to the Abuja based Alhaji that is the Father of her 2 month old child?
