based on the picture, the dog doesn't look malnourished. That is just the dogs stature.If u are expecting the dog to grow really big and muscular like all these boerboels u see around, u might be disappointed.

Below is a picture of a malnourished boerboel. U can see that the bones are very visible but the dog has a big head and also has the potential of becoming really big.

This is a big dog naw, you cannot compare a malnourished puppy to a malnourished adult boerboel.

Bro you have a beautiful dog.and I believe the intelligence level of the dog is very good as you stated hence your need to train it in sniffing and detection work and enemy pursuit. As much as i have come to understand what it means to have a purebred dog i have never been against mixbred dogs as long as it serves a purpose of which you are doing training it in different departments of K9 intelligence, But I want to honestly let know something you can insult me if you like but that dog is not a (GSD)the fur on your dog comes from the Caucasian ovtchaka and also the ears.That ear would not stand to look like a GSD.But still you have a great dog its beautiful.

That was what I was thinking too ooh when Timantech wanted to eat me. That fur is too thick for German Shepherd.

Your puppy is gonna be big, I bought a malnourished 3 months boerboel and my own worse pass your own, I was ashamed to even snap it not until 2 weeks after and the puppy has turn around.
My only advice is that, if you truly want to buy this dog, you have to be full prepare. Adequate vaccination, rich multivitamin and above all rich and quality food, with exercise. With all these you are good to go.

I use Pet booster multivitamin tablets. It's 2 types, one with 100 capsules and the other with 50 capsules. But you can go to any vet and buy a good multivitamin tablets or syrup. It's one daily, but I'm giving my puppy 2 daily.

I bought a sweet brown German rott puppy today and since morning it has refused to eat anything. I have spent whole lot of money buying all sort of feed, both Can beef, diamond biscuits, milk soybean etc. Yet it won't eat anyone presented to him. Am just exhausting my patience. You will not loose the puppy, it's change of environment. First of all deworm the puppy, try and look for chicken intestines or fish intestines, cook it and mixed with the food. Also melt the diamond puppy food with water and mixed with the intestines, he must eat it. Buy multivitamin too to boost his appetite. After all said and done, if he doesn't it, then force feed him pap with plenty milk for like 2 days to regain strength.

How's your dog now? You didn't update us about the growth of the dog. Pictures please.

Thanks.... Her food consumption is crazy. At the last count she finished more than 3 cartons of booster can food in a month with a 10kg bag of booster dry puppy food.

Are you serious? Ehenn and me I'm complaining mine want to reck me, mine doesn't like kibbles that much.

As long as she’s eating and you are feeding quality you will see good result, You can add xtreem booster I do use it for all my dogs since they all reject kibbles so I feed them little mixed indomie with lots of chicken neck and egg and it works wonder especially on my cane corso, please keep us updated on her growth

For Sure I will update you on her growth and thanks for the info although I do give her all those food too but I think I will add the xtreme booster, it's how much and how do you give them?

I want to share some pics of my all black working line GSD from puppy till date and will keep you guys posted as he grows.
He is currently shedding his puppy hairs that's why there are some greyish patches on him and teething all at once. His ears are yet to stand at it will once he is done teething. I will keep you guys posted on his training and growth progress. Very smart, aggressive and intelligent at this age.

Hello petlover, this is not a challenge or show-off, is to encourage others to do their best and do more. Let's share idea and keep track of our boerboel. If you have an adult boerboel try and look for the 4 months pics and also post the adults as encouragement to others never to give up on their pet.

I bought a malnourished 3 months boerboel and it's one month now living with me, the dog dey chop heaven and eat and still did not get fat lol I know she we turn up soon sha.
Her name is WILLOW and she is fearless and barks at any stranger, playful and very active and she's not a fan of pictures, I suffer before I could get this pose

I got this cute dog which i named diamond last yr.. normal dog, since when she was small till she grew and gave birth to 5kids..

Then one day i discovered she's been hit by a car... and died

And also the 5 little puppies had some strange sickness that killed them one by one.. only one was able to overcome the sickness...

Now the issue is.. this small one i named boy wasnt gonna just eat anyting, unlike when diamond was small.. any food she eats...

But this little one i got current selects food..

Some of my friends are like maybe diamond slept wit a foreign dog or smting else..

And hes over aggrassive...

My issue is, why is this small dog selecting food...?

I was once in your shoe recently, having a picky eater dog can be so frustrating to the extent that I gave her Hollandia and it refuses to eat. Someone in nairaland suggested goat intestine or fish intestines, boil and add it to your dogs meal and e go rush am sharp sharp. Also give your dog boiled egg and I believe he will like it.

Puppies grow fast and require booster, calcium and other minerals to grow correctly and avoid joint problems later in life. As long as you are administering the right dosage for them, I see nothing wrong with it.
Just my opinion.

Hello Petlanders, I just decided to compose and compound a little write up on how to bond with your dog, I know many of us are already gurus on that but some are yet to know how. Bonding with your dog is one of the best feeling a pet owner will feel and bonding with your dog also helps training and communication easier with your dog.

The greatest way to bond with your dog is to spend quality time with your dog, dogs will even appreciate it more if we spend full day with them But common we are human and we have other stuffs to do. Many petlover wish to spend more time with their pets but many of us are very busy and some go to work, office, market etc, but if you truly want to bond with your dog, try and create time for them at least 30 mins a day, try to create time for fun, communicate with them, take a walk with them, bath them, feed them or just sit close to them stare and cuddle.

I have been training dogs for the past 20 years [Mostly German Shepherd (pure and mixed) and Mongrel and I have noticed that dogs pays more attention to what you do rather than what you say ] so in essence, try to do more with petting.

Learn and Observe what your dogs loves doing and give them constant opportunities to do it. Like if you noticed your dog like running round, when you are back from work, you can loose the chain and allow him/her to run while you supervise.

Please note: Even if you don't do all this, your dog will still love you, but there's a big difference between LOVE and BOND. Love usually develops naturally, but the bond takes time and attention to grow. but being alone, even loose in the house, isn’t fun if there’s nobody to play with, so your time is still needed. Giving your dogs food will only make the dog love you but that's not bonding.

Some people might ask how long does bonding time takes?
The truth is that, nobody knows the actual time ooh, dogs have different personality abi na doginality I go talk, some dogs can bond with you in 2 days and some won't bond easily even in 6 months, but puppies bonds easily conmpare to adult dogs.

I think I will stop here, Petlanders should add and contribute, my brain and hands are paining me for typing lol.

Confirmed... Your GSD is pure

Just a contribution..... Turn the puppy and see its chest in between front and back legs. There shouldn't be any white spot on lower chest part. If there is any white spot it means that it is not a pure German Shepherd. But your dog is a lovely dog, so cute and doing well for the age.

I know that kennel, I've been following it for some time now.
Her dogs are massive but greatly exaggerated, she's a very small person and she has a good camera man and the background they always use is very open and vague with nothing to use and estimate the size of the dogs except her(and she's very small so every dog will look huge next to her)
the few times they snap the dogs with other people it's either a child or someone squatting.

her dogs are very beautiful tho, she's on the top of my list for pups when I am ready to start keeping more dogs.
all her dogs are in very good condition, I fell in love with the kennel ever since I saw a picture of Hades

She said her puppy is 300k for Caucasian puppy.

don't expect the quality of your previous pup but the pup won't be bad.
if I had a pup from my dog I would've given you for that amount considering your bad luck with your previous pup.
