Let's be realistic here. Most Gsd puppies are sold between 50-90k depending on the breed.

Feeding alone would be costing you between 5-10k monthly minus veterinary and other miscellaneous. And you say your monthly income is what again?

Truth is you'll be overwhelmed by the huge expenses your little pet is going to give you and most likely run out of cash before the end of the month. Cos you'll have to fend for yourself as well.

The only breed I can recommend for you with that income is the Calabar yellow hound aka ekuke dog. The only money you'll spend is in the purchasing which would be less than 2k. As for feeding and maintenance, you have absolutely nothing to worry about cos the calabar yellow hound is capable of surviving with or without your support.

You gave estimate of one month, will he be buying dog every month? He has done the most important job and that's buying the dog, the rest is minor. He cannot spend more that 20k monthly.

Aside that rearing a dog in a rented apartment is not the best because it can be poisoned by fellow tenant. This is a common scenerio.

Just seeing the advice now, I've sold the dog already at a cheaper rate and I've ordered for another one in Jos since last month, but lockdown is delaying my waybill. I can't wait for lockdown to end.

Dogs don't have specific profit, because you cannot predict their litter/puppies.

I don't think 100k will be enough, considering the fact of feeding, vaccination and other dog accessories. But if you have a regular stream of income apart from the 100k then you are free to proceed. Also have it at the back of your mind that dog investment is very productive and at the same time a great loss.
There are many things that you have to put into consideration and the most important thing is Do you love a dog, or it's just strictly business?

Bros abi babe... Leave the dog alone naw haba. To me that's cruelty of the highest order, just kill the dog if you don't want it. The only way I can neuter a dog is to safe the life of that dog, unless it's a life or death situation I cannot do it and you shouldn't either. Have you considered that you might also loose the dog during the operation?

To your question... The answer is Yes, they just woke up one day to start it. Go online and read how cross breeding started. No clinical test or whatsoever. Moreover why dey always castrate new breeds is to study it nature. Back in early days they cross breed anyhow. There is no need castrating mastiff mix shepherds because we already know how it looks and how they behave.

Even though i am open minded about cross breeding, i dont agree with this particular cross.... Two different mastiff type dogs can be crossed this improves both blood lines...but crossing a shepherd breed with a mastiff breed isnt ideal because the will exist a lot of inconsistent variations...i.e i wonder how the double consistent shedding coat of a CO will mix with the smooth coat of a BB...at the end the puppies may not look ideal..well at the end no one can ever be 100% right...if you re an enthusiast for "Purebred" do your background study and get one...also if someone is cool with controlled and selected crossing it doesn't mean he/she has no value on quality or one should start insulting the individual. It only shows two different options on what is quality.
As for me if i see a mix i am facinated about i ll buy it and the same way i ll buy any cute "purebred"

Argument sharpens the brains. I love all dogs, Tho I prefer some more than some because of its purpose. Mixed breed is not good for business purposes except it has been generally but can be wonderful as pet. This is not the first time I'm seeing Mastiff x Shepherd.

You can potentially breed any combination of dog breeds together, or purebred dogs with mixed breed dogs, as dogs are all one species.
Crossbreeding cause fall in dog market value until they are popular and have a registered name before the price can go high.

Taking about CLINICALLY....
Dogs like Bullmastiff were bred because of the height of mastiff and strength and aggressiveness of bulldog. Same goes for other breed.

There's nothing even wrong with Boerboel(Mastiff) and Caucasian(Shepherd) mix.

OP.... Mixing is mixing, you are just angry base on say you don't like mixing of it because it's been done by a Nigerian. Don't be surprise an American breeder can wake up one morning and start a new breed of boerboel x Caucasian mix and make it popular. I have seen many absurd breed from from different line and are popular today.

There are many abnormal breed which are not in the same line coming to limelight.

All the people saying NO, I wonder the type of advise you give, most of them don't even earn 50k a month and they have dogs. OP 75k a month is more than enough to take care of yourself and your dog and even have a girlfriend. Just like someone said here, with 15k monthly your dog will be fine. Just budget 20k monthly, feed your dog on their food and human food. Not all dogs get attacked by Parvo. My advice on Parvo is that make sure all vaccinations are complete before 16 weeks and don't stroll with the dog till 20 weeks and above. Do as your power reach. GSD is superb too for first time owners.

NB: No matter the money spent on dog, you will surely gain it.

A giant house spider may bite a person in self-defense, but its venom is only harmful to those with specific allergies. Aside from their large size and appearance, they are not harmful and doesn't pose much of a threat to people.

I made mine for 90,000 and It can accommodate 2 large breeds.

Make sure you wash the place you will put the dog with enough hypo or any strong bleach and wait for at least 3 days before you can put your dog there, and make sure he receives his/her complete vaccine at the appropriate time and if you noticed anything at all, just call your vet. You dog should be immune at 12 to 14 weeks after the complete shot.

I hope this helps and make sure no strolling with the dog till after 20 weeks. There's high rate of Parvovirus everywhere.

Coconut Oil + Vaseline will do magic to it.
Coconut oil has antibacterial qualities and it's not poisonous if the dog licks it. Apply plenty coconut oil to the infected area. Let the oil to stay for like 10 minutes, and then apply the Vaseline on top the affected areas.... That's for the external part.

For the internal part, get antibiotics and give the dog.
