Wow!....unbelievable. Such show of desperation forum shopping for anything at all to support his principal. Some times, if you’ve got nothing to say, it is wiser to keep quiet. Look at this man celebrating mediocrity. After all is said and done, I am sure Mr. Adesina would look back when Buhari is out of office with some degree of regret. 1 Like |

Olawrites: Not sure I completely agree bro...from what I understand, anything below 40k Canadian dollars is considered low income, so really you are probably looking at the lower end of the spectrum with the examples in your screenshots. By the way, the unit of measure for fuel sales in the US is gallons and not litres. 2 Likes 1 Share |

...and the ruckus begins. Not expecting much from a party that can be described as a gathering of strange bedfellows. |

For me, it is not really about the money itself but the act of giving, which should be done selflessly and without the expectation of anything in return. At least we can back that up with scripture. Remember the rich fellow who met Jesus and asked what else he could do to attain eternal life, having fulfilled all the commandments in scripture. He was told to give away his possessions to the poor, which made the man sad. (Mark 10:17-31). Obviously the man still held tight unto material things and most likely cared about his convenience. It is a mindset thing to me sha. I nor be Preacher o....so I am not even sure how first fruits should be given. But what I am sure about is the principle of giving - I am convinced it is universal and even more so when done selflessly. God sees whatever is done in secret and rewards accordingly, in summary. 1 Like |

haha! I like this thread. If I was to pick where I fit into back in the days, it would be the sleeping category. In the first few days of camp, would do anything to avoid that morning parade, including wearing plain clothes and going to sleep where vendors i.e. photographers, external volunteers etc where lodged. saphiere: Are you really sure about the bolded sentence? Remember what the very first female speaker at the federal house of assembly turned out to be...I mean, it could go either way, but I wouldn’t totally count on it. |

I think the Original Poster is in a hurry to reach a conclusion on this matter. I’d say let us wait and see. Recall the same elections in Osun that brought in Oyetola in 2018 was marred with controversy and accusations of underhand practices. Matter of fact the election was initially inconclusive, before a run off was conducted in certain LGAs where it was rumored that MC Oluomo and his boys later came to intimidate voters. It was a razor thin victory for APC, even with a united front at the time. What do you think will happen in 2022? Time will tell - but I wouldn’t be too quick to reach a conclusion. 1 Like |

Opeyemiextra: Yeah, I completely understand. You should not allow this to way you down though. This life is really too short y’know. Let it go. We all have no idea about all the malicious comments folks utter behind our backs. You were just opportuned to be privy to this one. Keep being good and do not allow this to have a negative impact on your “worldview” of humanity in general. |

Opeyemiextra: Well, there you go! Now you are giving this some context...my initial comment was generic and based on your original post. If you think the lady’s utterance was coming from a bitter place, there’s a high chance her views are skewed and incorrect. Again, in that case, it would not bother me one bit as mentioned earlier. |

sulaimon22: There’s this saying in yoruba: “óná kàn ó w’ójà” meaning there’s usually multiple entry points into the market place or something along those lines. In my opinion, your friend is probaly on the right path in seeking for ways to invest his savings. I’d say keep the job as it provides guaranteed income, closely monitor the amount invested in cryptos (which I think is very high risk these days) and maybe invest some in fixed deposits/mutual funds or other low risk plays and then use a small portion of those savings to test the waters with the recharge card business i.e. should be a side hustle at first before going all in. |

Opeyemiextra: Well, you may need to add some context to this. Was this neighbor planning to do something terrible to you or just generally sharing their opinions about you? For me, if it she was just sharing her views, she is definitely entitled to it. It wouldn’t bother me if such views are incorrect. I could also take it as constructive criticism if it comes across as such. Like it is said, “out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks” I’d definitely be curious to learn more from such an individual on their perspective about me in certain instances. |

Not really sure what the criteria is to become a SAN, but this man is a disgrace, I mean a complete disgrace (with all the bells and whistles) to his profession. His Intellectual capacity is questionable. Oh well...in regards to his utterance, as the saying goes: “when a lizard falls off an iroko tree and there’s no one around to sing its praise, the lizard goes ahead to congratulate itself for having such great acrobatic skill” Let them continue to flatter themselves. They do not have much to offer. |
