cooldude62: Fayose is lapping up the opportunity they are giving him. Yes, why employ them in the first place to sack them later? Was Kaduna gov't sleeping before? It's good to want to replace them but it's bad to have employed unqualified teachers in the first place.
What have you said now? Yes, they were employed unqualified initially. So? We should keep dwelling on the past? The decision to sack them 'now ' I totally agree with.
pansophist: I am one of those people who think like that, but not in absolute measure. If you want to be a doctor, then please, go get a degree. I do not patronize babalawos and street vendors. But if you want to be a businessman or making money on the street, then being a literate and an autodidact is enough. For the thousands of years humans have existed, journeymanship/employee has never been the norm. It is more of being a skilled person, and being paid to deliver such services. It is more of apprenticeship and being your own boss later on.
The concept of journeymanship is new, and I honestly wonder how people are satisfied with having a fixed salary, lose control of your time, waking up at biologically incompatible hours and be expected to be thankful for it. How many billionaires have you seen that are employees? Can your children inherit your job?
I believe this is a Nigerian concept whereby you have one source of income and hustle on extra sources of incomes.. For one, I am a believer of this concept. I believe the average Nigerian is comfortable with earning one source of income mostly by being a government employee and having other businesses to supplement whatever he makes as salary.
Can your children inherit your job?.. I belong to the school of thought whereby I would encourage my kids to develop a passion for something at an early stage of their lives and I would nuture that passion for them.
pansophist: That was why I said he is schooled not educated. Schooling is mere regurgitation, that is, to get a job and display all the knowledge he was taught. Education is to be a thinker, creative and ingenuine. To be educated is to understand the society one resides and look for a way to monetize something. Being educated/schooled has nothing to do with laziness. I didn't say he was lazy.
I can tell you a story about a guy from Akwa-Ibom, he started as a conductor while sleeping in the bus at night, in less than six months, he was given a bus for hire, and in two years, he paid off, owning the bus. In less than a year after that, he bought a new bus and gave out for hire purchase, and the rest is history. It been 7 years now and this guy has at least 7 buses running the street of Enugu. To me, that is a display of an educated person. Started from nothing but with hard work, lives comfortably, without begging anyone for a job.
I am not saying everybody should be a bus driver/conductor but there is always something you can do. Starting from learning vocational skills and climb your way up. That's my point.
Thank you boss. God bless as you have shed more light as to your point. I clearly understand.
But bros, there are still some Nigerians who think getting a certificate job is a waste of time. Yes, it might be difficult but not everyone is cut out for businesses.
pansophist: God has equally blessed you. The mere fact that you can access the internet, read and write in itself is a true reflection of how blessed you are.
But if you can’t use the internet to monetize your craft and provide a niche in the society, then it’s not the fault of successful people.
Boss, I swear I agree with you. But I just want you to equally realize that not all Nigerians are lazy or aren't trying their hands on different ventures to better their lots. I don't know this mans story, I don't know what he has tried or hasn't tried. But trust me bros, people are trying their best in this country, things aren't just working out as planned for them
samuelchimmy: stress your brain bros, instead of shaming yourself,a masters degree holder is supposed to possess the knowledge to better his or herself weather or not there is no job.
senatorS2: its not a must u will have a white collar job in this country, think outside the box, make something out of nothing, venture into business, use ur talent if u have one and u will be smiling to the bank everyday #entrepreneurs rock# [i][/i
Chairman, just thank God for your own. God go help others too.
BTW, who told you he hasn't tried his hands on other things?
Bros, some people are meant to be business owners, others are meant to survive with their certificates. Thank God for your own bros
pansophist: Exactly my thoughts. If a master degree holder can’t find a way to survive in the rugged streets of Nigeria, then truly, he is just a schooled person, not an educated person.
Abeggy, make we hear word jare. That's the problem I have with the likes of you that God has favored. You begin to judge other people as lazy.
Bros, thank God for your blessing. God go favor the rest of us. Amen
Thepasserby: FFK now believes Buhari is a that has covered the glory of Nigeria and according to him, that darkness is promoting the activities of evil men.
He is under serious fire from twitter users at the moment.
akinade28: Hapi birthday to them. Dear God, only you know how much I want beautiful fraternal twins, I already have name sef, d boy will b Christopher and d girl Christina. D girl should resemble me and the boy their father, but if their is not handsome, they should both resemble me jare
Saintsammurai: Beautiful woman, one of Nollywood's great.. She is what we call talent and not people like Tboss or husband snatcher rosamuer or whats that her forking name...
Teacher1776: All these are thugs who helped to rig election for APC in the north in 2015. With the weapons given to them, they took up the latest job of kidnapping. Hausa kidnappers are very dangerous, almost animalistic in nature. They kidnap you, starve you, rape you every hour of the day, obtain ransom and eventually kill you. I doubt if these ones will be prosecuted. Their "oga at the top" will simply give order and they will be released.
Did you actually think before writing this or your natural stupid impulse just told you to write without thinking??
FitnessDoctor: You can still use your phone on any ear. . Read the article on my blog and you will see pictures that explain why. . You can also switch to ear piece they normally carry less radiation and can never be of any harm. . You can also join me on my blog. I normally post new articles from 7am every morning. . See you there
FitnessDoctor: Hello Guys, its your favorite health blogger, Paul Samuel FitnessDoctor
I'm sure you have heard about the fact that you should use only your left ear to answer phone calls for some reasons or maybe one reason (the hoax is all over the internet by the way).
According to some researchers, the Apollo Medical Team to be precise, your brain is closer to the right ear, so if you use the right ear to answer phone calls, then your brain will be more prone to radiations (remember they told us that radiation gave rats cancer the last time. Wow!!!).
So, your favorite health blogger took his time to dig out some skeletons, to find the truth about which ear you should use to answer your phone calls, is it left or right?
Now, it makes more sense to answer phone calls with your left hand because your right hand could necessarily be busy, but that should not be a must.
So, according to online and offline sources, you can answer your phones calls with any ear or hand you choose.
The research done by the Apollo Medical Team did not carry any evidence that should make you panic in anyway.
What about radiation to my brain?
Actually, you shouldn't be worried about that, instead you should be worrying about the phone you are using (if you permit me to say worrying).
The image below shows radiation pattern in talking positions. At (a) 0.8 GHz, (b) 1.8 GHz with the right hand. At (c) 0.8 GHz, (d) 1.8GHz with the left hand.
As you can there is no difference in radiation patterns even if you answer with your left ear or right ear or even if you put the phone on your head (Wait! that is not an option).
So, what you should be worried about. The phones you are using. And it is not the radiation you should be worried about, but getting the best signal.
Here are some graphs I was able to dig out you should look into.

Yea, you may not understand all that, well I didn't understand it all either. But here is what you should note.
Some phone brands work better on the right side while others on the left side. So in case you are falling to get a good signal you might want to switch over.
For example
HTC Desire performs better on the right side for all band. iPhones depend on the frequencies for better performance same goes for many phone brands like Sony, Samsung, Xiaomi and Nexus.
Note: if you phone is less than 10% then the phone receives maximum radiation, you should be careful about the amount of radiation you absorb to reduce the risk of having health complications, so its better to charge it up or switch to another battery.
So there you have it
A bit technical, but I hope I simplified it enough for you all

Surat Yusuf is the 12th surah(chapter) of the Holy Quran. It is said to have been revealed in a single sitting, being unique in this respect. The text narrates the story of Yusuf(the biblical Joseph). While other surahs tend to jump between topics, this sura is special in sticking to its central theme throughout, telling a coherent story in chronological order.
The surah is Makki(sent down before the Hijra),revealed in the 10th year, the year of sadness, after the Prophet lost his beloved wife Khadija and uncle Abu Talib. He was also driven out of the town of Ta’if, and was feeling very sad due to the loss of his family and difficulties in the dawah. Allah sent down this beautiful surah to be a source of peace for Prophet Muhammad,as a reminder that look how many difficulties Yusuf faced and how he persevered through them. The surah is rare in how it is exclusively discussing one story, yet is probably one of the most exciting
1) Something miserable is better than disobeying Allah:
“O my Lord! Prison is more to my liking than that to which they invite me.Unless You turn away their plot from me,I will feel inclined towards them and be one of the ignorants.” (12:33)
2) Don’t be jealous:
Yaqub (as) said:
“O my son! Relate not your vision to your brothers, lest they arrange a plot against you. Verily! Shaitan (Satan) is to man an open enemy! (12:5)
3) Never give up hope in Allah:
“O my sons! Go you and enquire about Yusuf and his brother, and never give up hope of Allah’s Mercy.Certainly no one despairs of Allah’s Mercy, except the people who disbelieve.” (12:87)
4) Patience is beautiful,so be patient at all times:
This whole surah gives one example after an other of how Prophet Yusuf (as) showed patience.He was patient;
• while awaiting the fulfillment of his dream • when his brothers abandoned him in the well • when he was sold as a slave • when the king’s wife accused him of seduction • he continued to be patient when he was put in jail • when his fellow inmate was released and forgot about him • as the king of Egypt,he continued to be patient with his brothers’ slander.
5) Forgive:
Instead of being bitter and angry,Yusuf (as) chose to forgive. With all his power as a leader, he was in a position to take revenge, make life miserable for those that had brought misery into his.But he chose the sweetness of forgiveness instead.
He responded to his brothers with the following beautiful words:
“No reproach on you this day, may Allah forgive you, and He is the Most Merciful of those who show mercy]!(12:92) This is indeed one of the best story narrated to us in the Qur’an.May Allah allow us to extract all the gems from this Surah for as long as we live and continue to teach us how to be better Muslims through this Surah.Ameen
Bros but na very stupid talk that guy talk na. if them no teach am how to appreciate him own mama, make him no dey insult other people mama...... Aye bobo ma baje ni se.
