Yesterday I officially jumped ship to a stock Android Nokia 3.2
I wanted to taste the waters. So far I'm not pleased, I love customization and the full screen. I'm just stuck on a boring Google interface.
I feel so sad, although the phone is sleek and with a bigger battery.
I'm considering returning it and buying another Sammy
I have been unable to install my 96mb update and the phone lags. The smooth touch of the Sammy is not here at all.
Please advice

Good day Fam.. So a friend loved my RN7 and wanted to get his but either 6gb 128gb version or 6Gb 64Gb version. But i found out that they wrote Global rom On AliExpress. Meaning chinese version and all. Is there a way to make it into a Global Version without any issues with upgrading and updating and all.

6/64 was made exclusively for the Chinese market hence no Global Version. So you have to make do with the CN Version and Global ROM with all it's perks and commas if any

For me, I prefer miui on note 7 than Android one on mia3.

Note 7 have better display resolution than mia3 aswel as better camera. My own review though

Mi A3 has better cameras than the Redmi Note 7. Only the RN7 pro can drag with it when it comes to main camera but the presence of an Ultrawide lens gives the Mi A3 advantage over the RN7 PRO. Selfie camera is a whole different ball game, the Mi A3 trashes both RN7 and RN7 pro in that aspect

Glo 4G will only work on RN7 if you areas were they have rolled out Band 3. If band 28 is a priority on a Xiaomi device get the Xiaomi Mi A3

please guys i need professional help right now ..am about to derail the thread..am in a dilemma right now.. its regarding a laptop i repaired and am not happy with the way it went
ok i spent over 30k just to repair it ..i know that can get me a uk used laptop .. thought i was repairing it with just 5k at first untill we started encountering problems that amounted to 30k (changed the mother board ba3 and hard disk 320gb) right now i dont knw if i can put it up for sale that's if i can sell it more than the initial amount spent on repairing it maybe 40k or so ..... or i should just used it like that its a HP PAVILION DV2000 please i need ur assistance or direct me to the right thread

Sell it. Left for me when a laptop gets to board problem I sell it in parts. Motherboard changing is usually 50/50

Xiaomi expensive devices don't sell in large numbers. Check that stat against the note series, then you will see the difference.

True. But at least it is currently doing better than the Poco f1 though.

You have to do other things first. It is not straightforward like RN7, R7 and co.

You have to unlock bootloader, install custom recovery, flash magisk and enable camera2api. Then install Gcam.

Go for the Redmi 7 in terms of battery.

The RN5 have a slightly better camera though

The redmi note 8 pro is better o, but not obviously because of the mtk SOC. The mi9t is however more battery efficient it seems, so ignore the larger battery. But raw performance and camera quality goes to the rn8 pro.

Camera quality is subjective. The Mi 9T has a Telephoto lens, the Redmi Note 8 Pro doesn't.

Raw performance without efficiency in this age is a minus.

The Mi 9T has a longer battery life than the note 8 pro, don't allow battery size deceive you.

To be honest just go for the Mi 9T. The price of the Mi 9T pro is still not stable.

The note 8 pro looked awesome but can't see anything new about the note 8 at all so disappointed.

Look closer.

Note 8 have a more power efficient processor (11nm) compared to the SD 660 14nm on the RN7.

The camera sensor Samsung GM2 is an improvement over the GM1.
There is an Ultrawide lens and a macro lens on the RN8 are they also on the RN7.

Also from reviews the RN8 has an aluminium frame compared with the plastic frame on the RN7

i experience the same issue too... when i bought my redmi 7 the battery was the best, it doesn't lose a single percent overnight but after the update it loses like 4-6 percent overnight... i even did a factory reset thinking the update will revert but it didn't, guess we just have to wait for another update. Good morning Fam...

And their are no complaints from others. Battery drain is caused by alot of factors. Have you checked how good your network was during the night?

Redmi Note 8 Pro might be going Global afterall.

I won't take the pricing seriously for now though.

Thank God you say India. Most of you here have already expressed displeasure about the device coming with a MediaTek processor. Una been no hear about the heating issues sef. So like i said, you would not hear much said about the Note 8 pro on this forum, simply because it didn't come with a Snapdragon chip

And you failed to read were I said a lot of people on this thread bought the Redmi 6 and the 6a despite the fact it was MTK.

The CC9 and CC9e came out but it wasn't much talked about did those also come with MTK?

Not true because the Redmi 6a have been the top selling device in their major market India.

Even a lot of people used the Redmi 6a.

The overheating news when it was earlier reviewed dissuaded people from the Note 8 pro but now it have been fixed and I expect better reception
