Jheypeel: Seconded Bro I'm also experiencing same thing on my note 5, I use to think it would stop with time but now it's like a routine, though not much of a big deal now becoz there is light but waht bout when there won't be and the ish go happen. I normally would drop my phone at 20 percent at night, only to wake up the next day and find 7 or 5 percent left. So waht I just do is, whenever I'm done for the day, I just reboot the device and leave it like that. Then the ba3 stays normal, you should try that solution I leave my phone on throughout the night and my battery loss is usually 1%. If it is a software glitch it should be sorted out with the next update which is most likely to be android 9 |

CitySect1: I'm also on the miui 10.2.2.0 update and I've been worried why the battery drain in idle has been excessive and also more battery drain on 2G than 3G and 4G wch looks absurd Am on that same version and some days ago I had 8hours SOT as at 20% despite using my phone in full screen brightness most of the day. |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 9:44pm On Apr 28, 2019 |
CitySect1: I've done that severally, Infact it consumes more power on 2G than 4G and 3G. The battery stats remain normal as its always the screen that takes bunch of the battery while network falls around 3percent max. Advice please oooooooo How can screen consume battery when it is idle? Check for other background apps that might contribute to poor battery backup. |

Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 7:38pm On Apr 28, 2019 |
Osyxcel: When not using your phone, set your network connections to 2G. Unstable network could be responsible for the drain. I'm sure if you currently your battery stat, you'll see that the network connection is taking a chunk of it. Exactly what I was about saying. If your data is also on coupled with unstable it network there would still be battery drain. |

thatebonyiboy: Good Morning guys. I'm looking to join the Xiaomi Family. Already decided on the Redmi Note 7 to be launched tomorrow.
But here is my fear.
Almost everyone on this thread has tweaked and rooted their Xiaomi phones. Why is that? Can't the phone operate well in it's Factory made mode?
Help a confused Brother. A whole lot of people are using their phones the way it is. |

Or I should go for the Global version with 4/64GB like that. Chinese version is safe to use but I will advise you go for global version and better get it on Monday from Jumia which is certainly going to be cheaper |

PAQ: Today while charging my phone with original (follow-come) Mi- quick charger, the phone started connecting and disconnecting continuously. When i checked the charger i notice a pungent (smelt burnt) oily liquid on its side!! The charger is always connected to my UPS for fear of power fluctuations... has anyone experienced this? This thing is not even up to 2months old and i still have my 3yrs old sony charger and almost 5yrs old HTC charger. Too bad they arent fast chargers.
Now i am in the lookout for original Quickcharger. Ordinary chargers takes ages to charge a phone with 5000mah battery. Which phone are you using? |

IKON360: the gpu in sd710 will be superior in functionality to that in sd675. Sd675 has a dope cpu but its gpu isn't so fantastic, sd710 should be superior to it, but their cpu power might be equal. The 675 has a better CPU despite been built on an older process. Well Qualcomm always has a way to balance things so all their processors can sell |

godspeed: Gd morning house
Pls I need ur advice on which one of redmi note 7 pro and mi 9 SE global version to buy.
I really wanted to go for the mi 9 SE primarily because of the size, I'm not really a big fan of big screens. Ti me, the smaller the better.
But then, there seems to be very little review of mi 9 se everywhere it is RN7 which is making me hv a rethink.
So house , putting the 2 phones side by side, which one is significantly better in terms of:
Camera General performance Graphics Battery life
These are the four major factors I'm considering before making a purchase.
If they are so close in these four parameters such that there is no significant difference BTW the 2, then it's an easy decision for me. I'll go straight for the 9 SE.
Pls help Mi 9 SE but the Redmi Note 7 pro will have a slightly better battery backup considering the battery size and the SOC on both devices |
