Sorry for my too much questioning... I had a minor (Security Patch kind of) update yesterday.... so is it the minor update I'm to flash or the Major MIUI10 update...?

Full Fastboot ROM, you can get it from the MIUI download page

It started with so much promise but quickly fizzled out.

They wanted to get more buyers by making it a dedicated messaging tool for users of their devices but WhatsApp had other ideas and it backfired on RIM

You won't really be missed. WhatsApp was the death of you.

Why is no one talking about xiaomi redmi 7 here.. I've scoured round this thread it appears no one uses it..

I need a comparison BTW it and Nokia x5

What you say

Someone spoke about it between last night and this morning, start from 3 pages back

ElvisMcCoy:
Not mine ooo. I simply unboxed it to go on a field trip with it.. it meets the real owner by Saturday...
She is happy already...
I must say the phone is a beauty. The camera from what I have seen is worth it. The phone is light. I dare say it is lighter than my MI A1. It has a Glass back so it is prone to have fingerprints and smudges here and there... But generally it is a machine and a beauty to behold from what I have seen and held so far.

With the cases, the smudges is already a solved problem.

The phone sweet sha

My Baseus USB cables arrived Nigeria today, till Tuesday be that for collection

The one and only Oluaiye, The CBN Governor himself, Mr Reliable aka Noobody has done it again ooo. He placed the order for my Mi9 128gb Variant on the 7th of this month and I have it in the palm of my hands as we speak. No custom charges whatsoever. That's the life... Thanks buddy... You're the best... More deals loading...

Congratulations on your new machine.... We need a review, camera samples. Thanks in anticipation.

If this thread is not helping you doesn't mean it isn't helping anyone, you can go ahead to create your WhatsApp group for all I care but the notion that this thread is pointless is very wrong. This all stems from the fact we like being spoon-fed in this country, always wanting the easy way out.

I don't even have time to respond to his points.

But this is not the official Xiaomi Nigeria page

Well, I think the seller's proximity to the shipping company's location also contributes to fast delivery.

There a lot of conditions that contribute to shipping, we all just pray the time of delivery meets our time of need when we order

IKON360:

So I tracked the package last night, status was (accepted by last mile carrier...didn't bother wait for their call)...Went this afternoon, and I picked it up... It hasn't even got to the Customs table.

Will I say my theory is right or it's just a coincidence?

I ordered on a Sunday and I got it in 2 weeks the one I ordered on a Wednesday is taking more time than the former.

. U can easily get a pack and a screen guide to protect the A30, but not so easy for the Redmi 7

Dude Redmi Note 7 accessories are scattered all over AliExpress even on Jumia. And case doesn't prevent damage to any screen be it Amoled or IPS LCD. It only reduces the probability of happening

CitySect1:
But boss, my note 5 AI consumes same power as 4G when on either 3G and 2G. What can be the cause sir? I'm currently on miui 10.2

That's quite abnormal. Mine consumes more power while browsing on 3G than 4G and 2G but consumes less power when on standby on 3G and 2G than 4G.

But there are many causes to battery drain, probably poor and unstable network leading to the phone pushing more power to the radio to search for signal.

Always leave your non data SIM on 2G it helps to conserve battery. Me I have an alternate phone I keep my SIM I use to make and receive calls so I usually turn my other SIM off when not in use.

It can also be as a result the recent system update. you can trying draining your battery then switch off and charge up to 100%(I have experienced this once and this did it for me).

You can still ask more experienced people like GrandMufti to give you
Alternate solutions.

WIXE:
Samsung Galaxy A30 vs Redmi note 7, Pls I need unbiased truth on this . The price difference is 5k

Redmi Note 7. Better processor, better GPU and possibly better cameras

nwaobitex:
I can still access my notification panel when I swipe left to the camera here. How do I change that option of lock it?

Disable show on lock screen...

Kenny903:
