PoliticsFood For Thought: Killer Herdsmen Not Terrorists, IPOB Are! by Gentle99(op):
The recent rise in the killing of innocent farmers by Fulani Herdsmen has raised a lot of questions due to President Buhari's inability to comment on it! Not a word has been heard of Fulani Killer Herdsmen from PMB and the popular questions are:

1. Why is PMB playing the mute game?
2. Are the Herdsmen back by FG, owing to IG of Police's earlier dismal of the attacks as communal clash?
3. Why are the Herdsmen not terrorists but peacefully operating IPOB terrorists?

The question usually comes from families of the victims of Biafra Day mass shooting! Why is the FG quick to react to IPOB's peaceful protest and yet to (not slow) react to Fulani Herdsmen killing? Why are the peaceful ones being branded as the evil and troublesome ones while the innocents are held culpable for things and actions they did not! When did call for independence become an act of terrorism? When and where are peaceful protesters declared wanted terrorists in the world? Where in the world is succession seen as a crime, treachery, felonies act and above all, an act of terrorism? Why are the terrorists defended and peace seekers criticized?

The Presidency might keep mute on the Herdsmen killings but the whole world is watching! They are giving more reasons why IPOB should have been given the referendum! They're giving the world reason to question the unity and supremacy of the presidency. They're giving the world reason to believe that tribalism, nepotism and favouritism runs in the blood of the political class. They're giving the world reason to take sides with IPOB and question the validity of Nigeria as a Supremacy!

It's time for Nigerians to get on their feet and switch off the heater since the electricians employed to do it are busy travelling and looting funds! It's time for us to decide what's right and wrong! It's time to say enough is enough!

Make Nigeria a better place, restructure it or give IPOB what they want!

SportsA Call For Help On Behalf Of Rugby Lovers In Nigeria! by Gentle99(op): 10:00am On Nov 23, 2017
Rugby is a ball game, popularlyknown here as the "Gra Gra" game. Each team starts the match with 15 players on the field and seven or eight substitutes. Players in a team are divided into eight forwards (two more than in rugby league) and seven backs. The game is highly physical and involves body contact. This is a game with many enthusiasts in Nigeria, both fans and players-aspirant, yet, some rugby clubs don't make their activities open or more like promulgate their activities and membership request.

This thread should serve as a platform for all who have contact with Rugby teams to drop information on the mode of joining a rugby club in Nigeria. We beckon on all Rugby professionals, coaching staff and club owners to contribute to this and help fulfill someone's dream. Drop information and be sure there are people ready to give Rugby all.they have.

Keep the replies coming!
PoliticsBiafra: Nigeria To Be Expelled From UN Membership by Gentle99(op): 7:40pm On Sep 19, 2017
Tuesday From UN Membership Following Article 6 Of The United Nations Charter – Former US Deputy AG, Bruce Fein
The former Deputy Attorney-General of the United State, Bruce Fein, has suggested the expulsion of the Nigerian state from membership of United Nations following Article 6 of the United Nations Charter.
The recommendation is occasioned by the genocide committed against Christian Biafrans in Nigeria especially the recent Operation Python Dance 11 used to kill many Christian Biafrans in Umuahia, Aba, Port Harcourt and other parts of Southeast Nigeria.
In an article titled: “United Nations Lends Megaphone to Genocidal Military Dictator Buhari”, Fein maintained that dictator Buhari and “his henchmen like Army Chief of Staff Lt. General Tukur Yusuf Buratai” should be referred to the Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Fatou Bensouda, to investigate them for complicity in genocide.
He said that “UNSC should also be imposing an arms embargo on Nigeria under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter until the right of the Biafran people to self-determination is secured through a free and fair referendum conducted by the United Nations Electoral Unit.”
He posited that “at present, dictator Buhari is diverting arms purchased for ostensible use against Boko Haram, an international terrorist organization, to the terrorizing of Biafran Christians”.
He opined that “Buhari has no interest in defeating Boko Haram because its threat triggers military and financial assistance from the United States in its global war on terrorism.”
Bruce Fein’s article made available to IPOB Writers read: “The United Nations will live in infamy for lending its megaphone on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, to Nigeria’s elected military dictator Muhammadu Buhari.
“The Hausa-Fulani Muslim strongman is currently orchestrating genocide as defined by the Genocide Convention of Nigeria’s 50 million Igbo people because of their ethnicity and unwavering devotion to Christianity. Buhari’s genocide marks the culmination of a long train of Biafran subjugation by radical Hausa-Fulani Islamic terrorists. The dictator’s power is anchored to an illegitimate constitution decreed by a military dictator in 1999 to hold the Christian Biafran people in bondage to Hausa-Fulani Muslims. Nigeria’s constitution has never been approved by Nigerians.
“Last June, Buhari tacitly endorsed a Hausa-Fulani threat to expel by force and violence and to plunder 11 million Igbos in twelve northern Nigerian states that have adopted Sharia as their legal codes if they did not abandon their Igbo homes and businesses by October 1, 2017. During the past few years in northern Nigeria, Hausa-Fulani terrorists have destroyed thousands of churches and religious schools and displaced millions of Christian Biafrans.
“Hundreds of innocent civilians have died and more have been injured or terrorized by Nigeria’s military acting under Buhari’s direction in the last week alone. A courageous and influential Biafran leader, Nnamdi Kanu, has had his home attacked and quarantined by Nigeria’s armed forces and his followers killed. Grisly videos and photos taken at scenes of the harrowing crimes are conclusive. What they prove amounts to state terrorism—the systematic employment of violence to intimidate or coerce a civilian population.
“Instead of providing Buhari a megaphone, the United Nations should be expelling Nigeria from membership under Article 6 of the United Nations Charter. The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) should be referring the dictator and his henchmen like Army Chief of Staff Lt. General Tukur Yusuf Buratai to the Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Fatou Bensouda, to investigate for complicity in genocide. The UNSC should also be imposing an arms embargo on Nigeria under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter until the right of the Biafran people to self-determination is secured through a free and fair referendum conducted by the United Nations Electoral Unit. At present, dictator Buhari is diverting arms purchased for ostensible use against Boko Haram, an international terrorist organization, to the terrorizing of Biafran Christians. Buhari has no interest in defeating Boko Haram because its threat triggers military and financial assistance from the United States in its global war on terrorism.
“These sanctions against Nigeria would honor twin objectives of the United Nations: (1) “to establish conditions under which justice and respect for the obligations arising from treaties and other sources of international law can be maintained;” and, (2) “promoting and encouraging respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms for all without distinction as to…religion.”
“The genocide of Biafrans is not a “domestic” matter within the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigeria. Genocide is a crime against all of the mankind which concerns every country. Moreover, if dictator Buhari is permitted to kill and enslave Christian Biafrans with impunity, Nigeria could degenerate into a Hausa-Fulani Islamic theocracy and could become a state sponsor of terrorism. Nigeria’s example would embolden the persecution of Christians elsewhere.
“Nigeria’s 190 million inhabitants make it the most populous nation in Africa. It is a model not only in West Africa but throughout the continent. It is too important for its fate to be left to the roll of the dice.
“The international community planted the seeds of contemporary Nigerian and African strife by arbitrarily carving up the continent in favor of colonial powers at the1884-1885 Berlin Conference. The United Nations is saddled with a moral obligation to help remedy the dystopias spawned by many of its key members.
“While the suffering and persecution of Burma’s Muslim Rohingya have captured headlines and the attention of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Zeid Ra’ad al-Hussein, Nigeria’s far worse oppression of Biafrans has been largely ignored. It is difficult to resist the conclusion that the international human rights community squints when blacks kill blacks.”

PoliticsRe: Visit Of Governors To SE Without IPOB Reps Is Laughable – Robert Okpara by Gentle99(op): 12:42pm On Sep 19, 2017
Throwback:
IPOB itself is laughable.

When will this butterfly stop thinking itself a bird?

Who the hell do you think you are?

Political leaders are talking IPOB to will be begging to be invited.

Does IPOB control any ward or local government in Nigeria? Is IPOB even a registered party? Is IPOB the recognised tribal association of the Igbos?
You're such an idiot that I'd need to go Oxford University and ask them to invent a word to describe you in the next edition of their dictionary cos right now, the right words to describe you are yet to be invented.
You're such a stupid and depreved idiot who's been deceived all his life just like the British deceived you with One Nigeria! Ignorant but educated Nigerians who still make themselves fools. To be honest, i hope you have no duplicate out there.
PoliticsVisit Of Governors To SE Without IPOB Reps Is Laughable – Robert Okpara by Gentle99(op): 7:36am On Sep 19, 2017
Imo State governorship aspirant, Robert Okpara, has reacted to the visit of Northern delegates to the South East over the ongoing agitation by the Idegenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
According to Okpara, the intervention of the Northern governors and a host of others is rather too late, arguing that if they had visited 3 weeks before now, the current crisis would have been avoided.

Okpara also questioned why the main actors in the crisis were not carried along, saying it’s laughable for the governors to pay visits to Rivers, Abia and Imo state governors without involving those who currently feel aggrieved.
Speaking with DAILY POST, Okpara said, ‘’This visit is a good one that will help to douse the avoidable tension that has enveloped the country, especially the Southeast and South South region.
‘’ However, since the visit has the blessing of President Buhari, why is such a critical meeting excluding the major agitators and stakeholders in the crises? It’s a laughable paradoxical irony to run Nnamdi Kanu and his leadership underground and pay a visit to the governors of Rivers, Abia and Imo state.
‘’This visit is too late. If they had held this meeting 3 weeks ago with Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB leadership, South East and South South governors, we won’t be on this brink where leaders are scrambling to put off the fire they set up in the first place. In law, you do not set your house on fire and invite the fire service and paramedics.

‘’Governor Kashim Shettima and his fellow travelers are standing logic on its head and wasting taxpayers money on a frivolous publicity stunt in their attempt to convince their colleagues in the region that the entire North is standing by the South East at this time.
‘’The same governor Shettima was consulted by the Arewa Youths when they issued the quit order to the entire Igbos living in the North? It is also a skewed trajectory for Governor Shettima to preach cohesion to the traditional rulers and leaders when they know that bigotry exists in the imbalance of federal appointments in favor of the North where critical kitchen cabinet presidential appointees are from the North.
‘’This is the same imbalance situation where the leadership of the entire security architecture of the federal government favors a section of the North. The governors are having a laugh when they intend to visit Rochas Okorocha and Governor Okezie, same governors that were part of the forum that proscribed IPOB in the first place. What in the world would the 2 governors tell their August visitors? Any such meeting in the South East without the the presence of Nnia Nwodo, the governors and Nnamdi Kanu will be a tantalizing mirage,’’ Robert said.

RomanceJust In: Florida Woman Struck Husband For Disturbing Her While Masturbating by Gentle99(op): 12:30pm On Sep 18, 2017
A Florida woman struck her estranged husband in the face when he tried to go into her bedroom as she was “pleasuring herself,” according to documents obtained by The Smoking Gun.

Police responded to a reported domestic incident last Thursday where they found 43-year-old Garrett Higgs standing in the driveway of a Port St. Lucie home which he shares with his 42-year-old wife Flavia Higgs.

Garrett told police he “heard moaning from the house” when he got home after midnight, The Smoking Gun reports. He soon realized the noises were coming from his wife’s room and when he tried to go in the door was locked.

Garrett tried banging on the door, but no one answered.

Thinking there was another man in the house, Garrett tried to use a screwdriver to get the door open. Higgs attempted to block Garrett from entering the room and when a confrontation happened she allegedly struck him in the face, according to documents obtained by The Smoking Gun.

Police charged Higgs with misdemeanor domestic battery because she was the first to initiate physical contact. She was released after being booked at the St. Lucie County Jail. (NyNews)

SportsGernot Rohr: Ezenwa Remains Eagles Fourth Choice by Gentle99(op): 9:15am On Sep 06, 2017
Head coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, has stated that Vincent Enyeama is still the team’s number one goalkeeper.

Rohr, while speaking on the 1-1 draw with Cameroon in Yaounde, also clarified that FC Ifeanyi Ubah stopper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, remains fourth choice.

Ezenwa was in goal for the Eagles for the match on Monday and conceded a 75th minute penalty, which saw the Indomitable Lions draw level.

“You know that he’s our 4th goalkeeper, the three other ones you know-Enyeama is injured and cannot play, Carl Ikeme is sick and we are praying for him, Akpeyi is also injured, so it was a problem for us going into this fixture.

“You can say he did very well; he must work harder now. We have two goalkeeper trainers to help him improve more, but overall, he did brilliantly well and also he played well for the CHAN team against Benin, so I am excited that he will deliver for the team when called upon,” Rohr said.

Christianity Etc“father Mbaka Is Fake, He Gossips With Nnamdi Kanu’s Name” – Rev. Fr. Obimma by Gentle99(op): 8:00am On Sep 06, 2017
The spiritual director of the Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry, Uke Anambra state, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obinma, has fired back at Mbaka stating that he has always been the problem of Biafra agitators and Igbos in general.
Speaking in his parish on Monday, 4th September 2017, he stated that when Enugu indigenes were massacred by Hausa Fulani herdsmen, Mbaka kept mute, when people were killed all over Igbo Land, nobody heard a single word from Mbaka, what makes him a Prophet is only Gossiping and down casting the work the leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, who is even fighting to save him from slavery.
Recall that The Director of Adoration Ministry Enugu, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka blasted Kanu, stating categorically clear that he is just using the mind and brain of Igbo youth for his selfish gain. Mbaka also said that all the Igbo youths should pardon him and focus on the upbringing of Nigeria, adding that Igbos are better in one Nigeria than creating Biafra.

Obinma allegedly said; “Nnamdi Kanu is more important to Igbos and more Prophetic than Mbaka, at least, he Nnamdi Kanu foresaw what is happening now in Nigeria while Mbaka was Busy then campaigning For APC, now that his party APC has failed, Mbaka has not condemned the same APC party that he campaigned for, let the will of God be done, and let Mbaka go to rest.”

PoliticsNigeria: What’s God Got To Do With It? – By: Femi Fani-kayode by Gentle99(op): 10:29am On Jun 10, 2017
“Our country is about people that God put together”- Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, 8th June 2017.
I am sorry Mr. Acting President but I humbly and respectfully disagree. We must not use God’s name in vain. Worse still you have based your assertion on a false premise. I am afraid that you got it completely wrong. The truth is that our country is about people that the British, not God, put together.
They did not just put us together but they rigged the system and designated those of us from the south and Middle Belt as slaves and “rich wives” whilst the core north were designated as the master race, the slave-masters and the “poor husband”.
Since then the people of the Middle Belt, the northern minorities and the south have been bruised, battered, raped, sodomised, cheated, humiliated, ethnically cleansed, subjected to genocide and hatred, hopelessly marginalised and turned into servile and groveling serfs in their own country by invaders and vandals from a distant land.
I know the history inside out from day one and the Holy Spirit reminds me of it every day. No Mr. Acting President, do not bring God into it. This is not the work of God, it is the work of the devil.
Permit me to go further. It is instructive to note that in the British general election which took place on Thursday 8th June, no less than seven Members of Parliament, all of southern Nigerian heritage and extraction, were elected into office.
They are Chuka Umunna representing Streatham. Bim Afolami representing Hitchin & Harpenden. Fiona Onasanya representing Peterborough. Chi Onwurah representing Newcastle Central. Kate Osamor representing Edmonton. Kemi Badenock representing Saffron Walden. And Helen Grant representing Maidstone & The Weald.
They have all made us proud yet not one of them is from the northern part of Nigeria or a member of Nigeria’s “born to rule” master race.
That says a lot about southern and northern Nigeria respectively. In a sane, decent and civilised society where merit is the watchword and justice and equity is the foundation southern politicians excel.
In a society that is mired in deceit and fear and that wallows in intellectual bareness, abject poverty, social deviancy, spiritual harlotry, debilitating bondage and racial, religious and regional hegemony and discrimination northern politicians flourish whilst their counterparts from the south live in fear and trepidation and remain in subjugation, never achieving their full potentials.
The truth is that if any of those British/Nigerian MP’s had chosen to practice politics in this country as opposed to the United Kingdom, they would have been regarded as nothing more than field hands, errand boys and slaves by the northern ruling elite and, simply on account of their faith, region and tribe, they would have struggled very hard to have been considered as anything more than appendages, quislings and lackeys to the owners of the geographical space called Nigeria.
This is despite the fact collectively they constitute and represent some of the brightest minds in the world and each and every one of them is capable and more than qualified of being the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
That is how bad the plight of southerners are in Nigeria today: no matter how eager, bright, intelligent, dedicated and patriotic they are, they cannot lead without permission and a blessing from the core Muslim north and they cannot flourish or excel in the political arena without the tacit support of the master race. We are indeed living in insufferable bondage.
This Mr. Acting President is not the work of God: it is the work of the devil.
And quite apart from the historical woes and sorrows and avoidable tragedies of the last 103 years which we have discussed, analysed, written essays about and debated “ad infinitum” what has the rulership of the almighty north and their mystical, indestructible, all-knowing, all-powerful gap-toothed Mahdi offered us in the last two years? All we see is chaos, all we feel is pain, all we shed are tears and all we taste is blood. Let us look at it critically and honestly.
2.1 million Nigerians lost their jobs in 2016. Fulani hersdmen have flooded children’s schools with their cows in Edo state, chased the kids out and put their cows in the classrooms.
A strong coalition of Arewa (northern) youth
groups have threatened the Igbos of south-eastern Nigeria and asked them to leave the north within three months.
The Northern Elders Forum led by Professor Ango Abdullahi supported their call and repeated and reiterated their threat and quit notice to the Igbo. Boko Haran has attacked and entered parts of Maiduguri.
The President has vanished into thin air, gone AWOL and disappeared and no-one seems to be sure what is wrong with him, where he is or whether he is alive or dead.
Federal Ministers that were cleared by the Senate over 6 weeks ago have not yet been sworn in.
The Buhari administration has not had a Secretary to Federal Government (SGF) running and coordinating its affairs for months now.
The 2017 budget has not been signed even though we are 6 months into the year. Nigeria is in deep economic recession and people are suffering.
Thousands of innocent men, women and children are being slaughtered by Fulani militants all over the country.
Genocide and mass murder have been committed against IPOB youths in the east and Shiite Muslims in Zaria by security forces.
Nigerians are on their knees begging for crumbs and millions of them have been turned into second class citizens and slaves.
Human rights are being abused and civil liberties are being violated in the most vicious and brazen manner whilst leaders of the opposition and their families are subjected to nightmarish and endless criminal investigations and politically-motivated and malicious criminal prosecutions.
Government officials are not only incompetent but also hopelessly corrupt yet they act with impunity because they are considered to be above the law.
A dark, evil, sinister cabal of religious bigots and ethnic supremacists have held the Acting President captive and they are running our country even though they were never elected and most Nigerians don’t even know their names or what they look like.
Apartheid is alive and well in Nigeria where the “master race” of northern Muslims head every single military, security and intelligence agency except for the Navy.
The Government has encouraged a culture where cattle are regarded as being more important than human beings and where Christian leaders, clerics and the Church are subjected to humiliation, insults, shame and all manner of indignities.
The National Assembly is being harassed and the Judiciary is being intimidated.
Nigerians are divided, hungry, fearful of the future and very angry.
The Igbos of the south east and the Niger Deltans of the South South are so marginalised and disgusted that they are agitating for secession and the creation of the sovereign and independent nations of Biafra and Rondel respectively.
The Yoruba of the south-west are so distressed and alarmed that they have turned the word “restructuring” to their battle cry and warned that if it does not come sooner than later the disintegration of Nigeria will become inevitable the Republic of Oduduwa will become a reality.
The people of the Middle Belt and the northern minorities, historical victims of the most barbaric and pronounced form of oppression and suppression from a relentless and unforgiving master, for the first time in our history, are crying that they are not part of any Arewa north and that if the south insist on going they would rather leave with them rather than stay in bondage and as slaves and appendages of the core north for another 100 years.
What a mess Buhari and his APC have put us in. They are a curse. They are the greatest evil that has EVER befallen our country and by 2019, by God’s grace, we will flush them down the toilet where they belong.
Nothing speaks to our situation better than the profound and reassuring words of Chief Osi Asika, a respected diplomat and a seasoned and experienced political commentator. A few days ago he wrote the following:
“It is naive for man to try and change certain forces and phenomena or the way they impact on our lives and ourselves individually. Seasons come and seasons go, as do empires and civilizations. Winters today are not what they used to be. Rome has long fallen as have many other man made empires. For any to believe that the Fulani will be any different amuses, nay titillates. Pass the popcorn please!”
He concluded by saying,
“Talk about the Berlin wall, the disintegration of the USSR with a laid down history that can be traced back 1000 years, economical and political structures that defined the state and some joker is talking about a 100- year old contraption being unassailable in terms of disintegration or restructuring? There is always a paradigm shift of thought, exposure and perception between the field Negro and the house Negro.”
These are edifying and prophetic contributions. Asika is absolutely right. No matter what our adversaries and oppressors may say, do or throw our way, the time for glorifying themselves will soon be over.
Freedom and liberty will come in its due time and season to all those that insist on it and fight for it and no oppression or oppressor, no matter how powerful, awesome relentless, vicious, insidious or cruel, lasts forever.
