PoliticsWhy I Am More Comfortable With Boko Haram, Than Corruption-Buhari by Gentle99(op): 10:17am On Jan 14, 2017
President Muhammadu Buhari, has declared that corruption is the “very worst”, of all the major problems confronting Nigeria, including the Boko Haram insurgency.
Buhari, who declared this at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, in Abuja, on Thursday, while receiving recipients of the 2016 Nigerian National Order of Merit, NNOM, outlined poor economy, insecurity, and corruption, as the major challenges facing the nation.
The recipients, Professors Omowunmi Sadik (Sciences), and Tanure Ojaide (Humanities), had their investiture on December 1, 2016.
Buhari also, stated that Nigeria was in a terrible shape, when he took over in 2015, “with oil prices falling to as low as $37 per barrel, from peak periods of over $100 in previous years.
Buhari speaking further, commended the award winners, describing their contributions to the academia and national development as, “quite fundamental”.
In their separate remarks, the award recipients, lauded the ongoing anti-corruption war of President Buhari’s administration.
Canvassing more funding for research, they thanked the Federal Government for the National Order of Merit, saying: “nothing can be compared to being honoured by your own country.”
He said: “Nobody disputed the fact that they were the major problems of Nigeria, and we campaigned on those three planks. As a government, we believe you cannot administer a country you have not secured, so we focused on security.
“The economy is also down, therefore, we are not sparing any effort to revive and diversify it, so that our people, particularly the youths, can get jobs. The third problem, and the worst of them all, is corruption.”
“There was no money in the treasury. We were producing less than one million barrels of oil per day, from the 2.2 million barrels we used to do. The country was in a terrible shape, but luckily, the people understand, and are co-operating with us.”
The Chairman of the Nigerian National Merit Award, Professor Moses Essien Etim, said 73 awards had been given out since 1979, when the desire to identify and reward creative excellence among Nigerians, was instituted into the NNOM.

PoliticsGov. Willie obiano: Anambra Won't Feel This Economic Recession, I Promise! by Gentle99(op): 11:16am On Dec 26, 2016
The governor of Anambra State Chief Willie Obiano has said that under his leadership, Ndi Anambra would not feel the negative effects of the economic recession being experienced by the country presently.
The governor stated this at his country home, Aguleri in Anambra east council area of the state during an event to mark Christmas Eve with the family.
The ceremony, in celebration of God's grace and mercy on the first family, was also used by the Governor to meet and fraternize with key stakeholders in the state as prelude to Christmas.

It was indeed a fun-filled evening as guests were thrilled with sonorous Christmas carols by a Choir led by an Associate Professor of Music, Dr Ngozi Okonkwo and performances by comedians like Sacramento and Mc Parrotmouth.
The Governor said Ndi Anambra will not experience the present economic recession because of the relevant steps his government has been taking to keep the state's economy viable.
These, he noted include prompt payment of workers' salaries, leave allowances, sustenance of seasonal largesse, introduction of economic palliatives, the N20 million per community choose-your-project initiative, among others. All these he noted were aimed at pumping money into the system as required for any economy to reverse recession.
The governor who revealed that his government is working to bring the state to a level where it can conveniently meet its statutory responsibilities without depending on the Federal allocation, assured that he would continue to avail Ndi Anambra servant leadership with their support.
In his remarks, the former Presidential Adviser, Senator Ndi Obi who is the National Secretary of the People's Democratic Party(PDP)Caretaker Leadership, acknowledged that Gov Obiano has operated a system of governance that extends handshake to stakeholders across party lines and said his decision to support him is to guarantee the realization of his laudable vision for the state development.
In their respective remarks, a renowned industrialist, Chief Patrick Chidolue and a construction expert, Chief Benneth Emeka said Anambra has every reason to celebrate the yuletide in grand style in view of the visible transformation that it is experiencing, noting that Gov Obiano has proved himself a strong and reasonable leader.
Other persons who spoke at the event including the Chairman of the State Signage Agency, ANSA, Chief Jude Emechetta and Chief Okey Nwankwo described Christmas as a season of love and said the first family is exemplifying good christian attributes of love and magnanimity through the event.

Travel10 Places To Visit In Nigeria During Christmas Holidays by Gentle99(op): 8:14am On Dec 23, 2016
“Christmas is like candy; it slowly melts in your mouth, sweetening every taste bud, making you wish it could last forever,” Richelle Goodrich once said. Unfortunately, it won’t last forever. But you can make it worth remembering when you do things you never did before, or go places you’ve never been before this season.
With only a few days to Christmas, every fun-loving person should be thinking of an amazing place to be with loved ones, aside the traditional trip to the village for extended family reunions.
From the place where nature is at its perfect form, to classic and ultra-modern environment, we present you a list of 10 unique places carefully selected from across the 6 geo-political zones in Nigeria to spend the Christmas vacation.

1. Tinapa Resort
Tinapa is a business and leisure resort located in Calabar, the beautiful capital of Cross River State in the South-south.
The resort offers amazing features like a casino, children’s arcade, an amphitheatre, retail and wholesale outlets for your shopping needs and an 8-screen digital cinema.
Located at the Calabar Free Trade Zone, you can equally seize the opportunity to buy electronic items at very cheap prices as well as check out some business opportunities within the zone.
Finally, don’t forget to attend the colourful Calabar Festival.

2. Obudu Ranch Resort
The Obudu Ranch Resort is one of the wonders of Nigeria and arguably the best vacation spot for anyone seeking to enjoy a holiday in an environment that offers a perfect blend of nature and modernity.
The resort features a water park, a golf course and horse riding, night club as well as bonfires. A walk through the forest of Obudu brings one closer to nature as you listen to beautiful birds singing melodiously to your delight.
If you are looking for a vacation spot to help you establish a lasting bond between you and your spouse or family, then Obudu is the perfect choice.
3. Abraka Turf and Country Club
The Abraka Turf and Country Club is situated along the bank of the serene Ethiope River in Abraka, Delta State.
The first thing that hits one on entering the facility is the expansive and well-manicured plants with horses grazing on the lawn, which provides every visitor a feeling of calmness and tranquility.
The resort features first class accommodation and catering services for people of different budgets, horseback riding, kayaking, canoeing, fishing and swimming in the mysteriously clear River Ethiope; the river is so clear that one can see fishes swimming in it.
If you are a lover of nature and serenity, the Abraka resort is the place to spend your Christmas.

4. Kofar Gamji Amusement Park
Kofar Gamji Amusement Park was the first amusement park built in the heart of the Kaduna City. Located along the Shooting Range New Extension, it is indeed the most visited place during celebrations such as Christmas.
It has wide lawns for relaxation, eateries, a swimming pool, and a terrace for couples who may choose to stroll hand in hand. The scenic view of the Kaduna River, which cuts across the park, is a pleasure to behold.
Kofar Gamji is also host to CD World Play Club, where comedians, dancers and other performers entertain guests.

5. Wonderland Amusement Park
This 330,000 square meters’ ultra-modern park located in Nigeria’s federal capital is unarguably the biggest and most equipped park in Nigeria.
The park offers leisure gardens for visitors’ recreation and rides as well as an amazing arcade. A visit to the Millennium Park would not be complete until one enters the popular Fulani Ranch that offers a variety of tasty local and intercontinental cuisines.
A host of other restaurants and shops are also on ground to cater for your needs while at the park. The park also boasts of a clinic for treatment of minor injuries.
With all these in place, you would be right to call the Millennium Park a fun haven.
So, if you are planning a family picnic, a group get-together or want to spend quality time bonding with your lover, then this park is highly recommended.

6. Yankari Game Reserve
This large wildlife park located in Bauchi State came into being in 1956 as a game reserve but was later turned into a national park in 1991.
The park covers an area of about 2,244 square kilometers and is home to about 50 species of wildlife such as lion, leopard, hippopotamus, antelope, elephant, and waterbuck as well as over 350 species of colorful birds.
The reserve equally boasts of a decent and affordable accommodation for visitors. If you visit Yankari this Xmas, don’t forget to take a deep in the warm spring. But remember always to guard your belongings against the baboons!

7. Oguta Lake Resort
Also, known as the lake of treasure, it is located in Oguta, a quiet town about 30 minutes’ drive from the ever-busy capital of Imo State, Owerri.
The most striking part of this park is the confluence of the Oguta lake which is blue in colour and the muddy Ulasi River, with both maintaining their unique colours.
Even an attempt to mix the two by scooping water from one to another will only leave a stain for a short while; this is better seen than read or imagined!
A deep into the Oguta Lake is also refreshing and safe as the lake is fresh water and does not harbor dangerous creatures.
For your pleasure, the resort equally features a golf course with 18 standard international holes, cruise boat services for that exciting sail you have always imagined, recreational park, standard lodging accommodation and excellent restaurant. It also allows you to enrich your knowledge of history by visiting relic of war constructed by the defunct Biafran Navy during Nigeria’s civil war.

8. Jos Wildlife Park
This 8 square kilometers park is arguably the most developed man made wildlife park in Nigeria.
It is a home to various wildlife species like lions, buffalos, crocodiles, hippopotamuses, horses, ostriches etc.
The park equally features various attractions like a superb restaurant, picnic pine forest, video viewing centre and so on.

9. Olumo Rock
This amazing granite rock used to be a place of refuge for the people of Egbaland in present Ogun State during intertribal wars in the olden days.
It has several spot caves, some of which are about 20 feet long and 25 feet wide. However, this rock has been modernized with elevator, eateries, and many more to serve as a tourist destination.
One can as well choose to take the staircase instead of the elevator to the top of rock. This serenity at the top of this rock is better experienced than told.

10. Port Harcourt Tourist Beach
Planning on a family vacation or picnic this Christmas, this amazing and scenic beach is the place to go.
The live performances of Cultural entertainers add to the fun.
The resort also offers restaurants and accommodation for all classes as well as sunbathing sites.
SportsROHR'S BOMBSHELL: Nigerian Coaches Wrong On Eagles. by Gentle99(op): 5:49pm On Dec 21, 2016
Super Eagles manager Gernot Rohr has aimed a dig at previous coaches of the team, who are fond of questioning the players’ commitment and discipline.
Rohr who has secured three wins in in as many games believes that previous coaches of the team were been economical with the truth as regards players discipline and commitment.
“If you believe what you read about the players as said by previous coaches, you won’t want to call up some of these stars, but so far I have not noticed any of what they complained about in the players”, Rohr told Owngoalnigeria. com.
“They are very easy to manage, maybe because I have managed at club level in the past but I find them very dedicated and committed to our cause of qualifying for the World Cup in Russia.
“We have had isolated cases of players crossing the line while in camp, but it is expected with adults, and how you handle that matters a lot. Mikel has also been helpful in that regard.”

No arguments here. Lets give up for the Omoge boys. They were in a controversial situation for a nearly a year. However, they made up and came back with a hit single "Bank Alert" . Despite the fact that the song is the newest amongst them all, it has a good number of searches. What if it were to have been released earlier? I bet they would have peaked African No.1. They deserve more than that spot ooo.

PoliticsBuhari Off To Gambia To Resolve Presidential Dispute – Reports by Gentle99(op): 11:41pm On Dec 12, 2016
Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari is set to travel to Gambia to help resolve the political impasse in the West African country, several media have reported.
Sahara Reporters stated that the Nigerian leader will join his Liberian counterpart, Ellen Sirleaf, to persuade Gambian President Yahya Jammeh to concede defeat.
Presidential aide Garba Shehu on Monday evening confirmed to PREMIUM TIMES that “there is diplomacy going on.”
Mr. Shehu said there would be an official briefing to reporters on the matter.
Mr. Jammeh, who initially conceded defeat to opposition candidate Adama Barrow, later reneged; saying he would order a fresh election.
Observers and international organisations like ECOWAS, the UN and the U.S. have all asked Mr. Jammeh to respect the wish of Gambians and relinquish power after 22 years in office.
Mr. Buhari is expected to help persuade Mr. Jammeh to leave office and would also meet with Mr. Barrow to try to seek a soft landing for the outgoing dictator.
SportsMourinho Accepts Fans Right To Boo Fellaini by Gentle99(op): 11:57am On Dec 12, 2016
The booing of midfielder Marouane Fellaini by Manchester United’s supporters was an acceptable reflection of frustration over the team’s recent results, according to manager Jose Mourinho.
United ended a dispiriting run of four consecutive home draws in the Premier League by beating Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 on Sunday courtesy of a 29th-minute goal from the resurgent Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Fellaini, who had conceded a late penalty to allow Everton to snatch a 1-1 draw at Goodison Park a week earlier, was booed as he prepared to come on as a stoppage-time substitute, but Mourinho played it down.
“I had that feeling (that Fellaini got booed),” he said.
“I accept it because from the fans you have to accept everything, and especially fans that are giving so much to us without getting so much from us.
“The only things they are getting from us are honesty, professionalism, dedication, but they are not getting the results they expect from us.
“They are so supportive of us. They can also be a bit critical. They have in their mind the mistake that Marouane did at Everton and no more than that.
“He’s a player and a person I like and the person is even more important than the player. So he will have always my protection and my trust.”
Mkhitaryan struck after Ander Herrera intercepted a pass by Spurs striker Harry Kane and threaded the ball forward, the Armenian driving into the box and powering a shot past Hugo Lloris.
Mkhitaryan was stretchered off in the 84th minute after being caught by Danny Rose and rolling his left ankle, but Mourinho played down the injury, saying the 27-year-old would be out for “maximum two weeks”.
United remain sixth, 13 points below leaders Chelsea and six points off a Champions League berth, but Mourinho is hopeful his team can start to reel in the sides above them.
– Pochettino philosophical –
“We still have our ambitions this year and obviously to win this match puts us in a position where we can feel them (the teams above),” he said.
“We can be in touch with fifth, with fourth. We can feel them with so many matches to go, so we can say this result was very important for that.
“We were six points from Tottenham. We lose today and six goes to nine. And nine is more difficult than three. So the result was important.”
Kane lost the ball in the build-up to Mkhitaryan’s goal as Spurs tried to build play up from the back.
Centre-backs Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen had moved towards the touchlines to provide passing options, which left Herrera with a gaping boulevard down which to pass the ball to Mkhitaryan.
But Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino said: “That is how we want to play. We built a perfect action from the back. When that situation happens, it’s football and we need to be clever enough to try to react.
“Our offensive players can make a mistake. We need to understand that they need to take a risk. Then we have a lack of reaction in that situation when we lose the ball and we allow them to score.
“We try to play under our philosophy and we try to create a chance.”
Ten points below Chelsea, Tottenham’s hopes of replicating last season’s title challenge are beginning to fade, but Pochettino says his team have plenty of time to claw back the deficit.
“The concern is not too much,” said the Argentine, who revealed midfielder Mousa Dembele would undergo tests after taking a kick to the foot.
“The Premier League is tough. Chelsea started the season very bad and for different circumstances they changed the system and look how they are now. There is too much time to recover and reduce the gap.
“We are in a good position and it is a long way to the end of the season.”

SportsFirst Ever Biafra Football Clubs Play Against Each Other by Gentle99(op): 8:40pm On Dec 11, 2016
The world stood still on Tuesday the 29th of November 2016, when the two formidable Biafran football clubs in Malaysia (IPOB Kuala Lumpur and IPOB Penang football clubs) in an enthralling game of football slugged it out in their first ever official Biafran Football March played between the two clubs in Kuala Lumpur (KL) Malaysia,
The March which was played in Kuala Lumpur and hosted by Biafrans in KL saw Team Penang beat their host 2-nill; each of the goals came during the first and second half of the game, respectively. Meanwhile, the IPOB Team Kuala Lumpur were looking forward to clinching the first winning position of the series but their hope was dashed when they eventually ended up losing 0-2 to their guest in the early minutes of the second half. The Penang Biafra football team were obviously in control of the pace of the game from the beginning to the end of the March. Meanwhile the game was played in a very thrilling and brotherly atmosphere and it ended without any injuries to any side.

PoliticsBREAKING: Dozens Killed, Wounded After Church Roof Collapses In Nigeria by Gentle99(op): 7:56am On Dec 11, 2016
Lagos - A church roof has collapsed in southeastern Nigeria causing "many deaths and injury" the country's president said on Saturday, with state media reporting that up to 200 people could have been killed.
The evangelical Reigners Bible Ministry in Uyo, capital of Akwa Ibom state was packed with worshippers when the roof - which was still under construction - collapsed, local media said, with the state-run Nigerian News Agency saying "between 50 and 200" people could have been killed.
A rescue operation is under way, the report said.
President Muhammadu Buhari expressed his condolences, telling "the Governor and the People of Akwa Ibom State, the deep sorrow of his family, the government and the entire people of Nigeria over the many deaths and injury recorded following the incident," presidential spokesperson Garba Shehu said in a statement.
The governor of Akwa Ibom state, who was at the church but was not injured during the accident, said on his Facebook page late Saturday that "we have never had such a shocking incident in the history of our dear state."
In September 2015, 115 people including 84 South Africans, were killed in Lagos in the collapse of a church belonging to the famous televangelist TB Joshua.
RomanceHELP ME: ‘I Left My Lagos Girlfriend To Marry Trouble From The Village’ by Gentle99(op): 12:17pm On Dec 09, 2016
“Dear Nairalanders,
My name is Maduka, a 42-year-old man. As I write this, I am a very sad and frustrated man because a woman I got married to has made life a living hell for me. »
What is more painful is that Chioma was specially selected for me by my mother who practically forced me to dump my Lagos girlfriend to marry her.
The belief my mother held was that getting married to a woman she watched grow up from birth was the best for me and her superior argument won over in the end and I was forced to disappoint Mary whom I had dated for six years.
How was I to know that appearances do deceive as Chioma who was an angel, according to my mother, has turned out to be my worst nightmare.
Getting married to Chioma has become my worst nightmare as she is not only troublesome but adulterous, lazy and very wasteful.
Trouble started immediately after we got married and came back to Lagos. She displayed her character two days later when she fought with my landlady because the woman accused her of dumping refuse inside a gutter. My wife fought the poor woman and tore her clothes to shreds.
When I came back from work and was told what she did, I went to plead with the landlady but my wife came to meet me there and ordered me to leave the place. When I tried to caution her, she got mad and fought me.
I was so ashamed and when we got home, I tried to caution her but I got another side of her as she abused and insulted the living daylights out of me.
Since then, it has been one trouble or the other every day. We have been evicted in three different houses because of her trouble and constant fights with neighbours.
To cap it all, Chioma has been sleeping around with different men and I even doubt the paternity of two of our four children as they do not have any semblance of me or anyone in my family.
Many people have told me how men come to visit her whenever I travel out of the state on business and how she goes out at odd hours leaving the children alone at home, sometimes sleeping out.
Anytime I question her, she would fight me, break things in the house and on two occasions, she has stabbed me with broken bottles.
I am really fed up with her but I have been condoning her because of the children but how long will I be able to hold on?
Maduka.”
Dear readers, on Morning Teaser » today, what would you advise Maduka to do to set himself free from his troublesome wife?
Would you blame Maduka for heeding his mother's counsel and getting married to a village girl who has turned out to be a nightmare for him?
Foreign AffairsSouth Korean Lawmakers Vote To Impeach President. by Gentle99(op): 12:07pm On Dec 09, 2016
South Korea’s parliament has voted to impeach President Park Geun-hye over a corruption scandal.
The National Assembly motion passed by 234 votes to 56, meaning some members of Ms Park’s ruling Saenuri party voted to impeach her.
Ms Park’s authority now passes to Prime Minister Hwang Kyo-ahn.
She has been embroiled in a political scandal that led thousands of Koreans to take to the streets in recent weeks demanding her removal from power.
At the heart of the crisis is the relationship between Ms Park and her close confidante, Choi Soon-sil, who stands accused of using her connections to gain influence and financial benefits.
Prosecutors say Ms Park had a “considerable” role in the alleged corruption, which she has denied. However, she has repeatedly and publicly apologised for her close ties with Ms Choi – who has no official post.
With public anger mounting and weekly protests drawing hundreds of thousands of people calling for her removal, Ms Park cut an isolated and and embattled figure.
The first female president of South Korea, Ms Park was the daughter of a former military strongman who seized power to become president. He was later assassinated, as was her mother and Ms Park herself has survived a knife attack.

The secret ballot required 200 of the 300-seat chamber to vote to remove her
The vote means Ms Park is now suspended from her position, but the decision still needs final approval from the nine-judge constitutional court, which has six months to deliberate, reports the BBC.
If it upholds the decision, only then would Ms Park be dismissed. She would then become the first sitting South Korean president to be deposed in the country’s democratic era.

PoliticsBuhari Has No Minister As Intelligent As Sanusi – Reno Omokri by Gentle99(op): 9:08am On Dec 08, 2016
Former Special Adviser, Electronic Media, to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has blasted the Muhammadu Buhari-led administration, for calling Emir of Kano, Emir Muhammadu Sanusi, ‘ignorant’.
The Presidency had said Sanusi, a former Central Bank Governor, did not possess facts about the Central Consolidated Account domiciled in the apex bank and had no right to speak on the over drawing made by government from the account.
Last Friday, Sanusi asked the federal government to drop the $30billion loan idea , saying it would plunge Nigeria into unprecedented indebtedness, and that the fund would be difficult to realise.
Omokri has now waded into the matter and claims Buhari does not have any appointee or Minister in his cabinet as knowledgeable as the Emir.
He said in a statement: “The presidency’s response to the Emir of Kano, Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II is most pedestrian. How can anyone in his right mind call Sanusi Lamido ‘ignorant’! Really? Ignorant!!
“Even if Garba Shehu was directed to issue that statement he should also direct his mind to know that there is life after directives!
“Even before President Muhammadu Buhari indicated an interest in running for the office of President of Nigeria in 2002, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi (as he then was) was one of his first advocate who, as early as 2002, had publicly promoted the idea of a Buhari presidency as the panacea to Nigeria’s many leadership woes.
“Was he ‘ignorant’ then?
“The same Sanusi was the poster boy of the All Progress Congress when he made allegations against the Jonathan administration to the effect that it was unable to account for $49 billion. At that time, the APC took out center page advertorials promoting Sanusi and castigating the Jonathan administration. Was he not ‘ignorant’ then?
“I doubt if amongst the ministers and appointees of the Buhari administration there can be found any individual who is as knowledgeable as Emir Sanusi.
“Is it Buhari’s minister of finance who graduated from a polytechnic (University of East London was a polytechnic when Kemi Adeosun attended it and that is her highest academic qualification, BSc economics and a post graduate diploma) or the minister of budget that does not know how much Nigeria owes, or the sports minister that thinks Nigerian athletes are too hungry to go for the World Cup. Tell me who amongst Buhari’s ministers is as enlightened as the erudite and intellectual Emir Sanusi?
“The Buhari administration would do well to listen more than it insults or the economy may collapse even further than it has. Then we will know who is truly ‘ignorant’!”
SportsAguero Has Encouraged Me To Fill His Boots – Iheanacho by Gentle99(op): 1:23am On Dec 08, 2016
Kelechi Iheanacho has revealed that his Manchester City team-mate, Sergio Aguero, has backed him to take his place during his four-game ban.
Aguero will miss Premier League fixtures against Leicester City, Watford, Arsenal and Hull City. The Argentine will not be available for selection until the game at Liverpool on December 31.
Iheanacho, who scored in City’s 1-1 draw with Celtic in the Champions League on Tuesday, says he has received words of encouragement from Aguero.
“Before we played Celtic he said that it’s up to me now to fill that gap, to carry the team along,” the Super Eagles forward told reporters.
“He’s telling me I should do very well and they are words of encouragement from him. So I’m going to do it.
“It’s a big opportunity for me now. Sergio’s not around so I have to take responsibility. I need to work really hard to prove myself to the team and help get these points we need.”
Manager Pep Guardiola has already said Iheanacho is not under pressure to replace Aguero.
FamilyWoman With 2 Husband: “I Married Second Husband For Sexaul Satisfaction” by Gentle99(op): 2:08pm On Dec 05, 2016
Jack Chako, a polyandrous Zimbabwean woman, has stunned many people with new revelations about her life.
The woman has given details on how her relationship with her two husbands has progressed, and how she enjoys s*xual intimacy with them.
According to ZimPapers, the 30-year-old woman claims that her life is a bed of roses.
On how she gets maximum sexual satisfaction ‘as claimed’ from her husbands – Michael Hwita and Lifford Chimoto, Chako said, “We are a happy family, I live with my two husbands and we love one another.
“My two husbands are best friends and they are always together. Chimoto is the elder husband, while Hwita is the junior.
“I married the second Hwita because Chimoto is elderly and increasingly becoming weak in bed. They both have different roles and I love them both.
“They have different strengths. Chimoto fetches a lot of firewood and cleans up the house well but he is weak in bed and weak when it comes to fending for the family. The reason why I married a second husband is that Chimoto was starving me sexually.
“Hwita is also technically minded. He repairs a lot of broken goods, including cell phones and cobbles shoes too, making him bring some cash home. His biggest strength is he is excellent and strong in bed.
“To be honest, in terms of conjugal rights I favour Hwita. He gets me there. I only do it with Chimoto as a token. At times, I feel pity for Chimoto and give him token conjugal rights and he appreciates that.
“The rule is no one gets out of the room, because he is not on duty. Whoever is not on duty, just watches us at it.
“I am in charge and my two husbands are now used to sleeping side by side in one bed; because they don’t mind and they both appreciate each other for the different roles each play to the family,” the mother of five, three children from a previous marriage and two from this polyandrous affair stated.
Speaking further, she said, “I use some concoction to pacify my husbands. It is not a secret that I used a concoction to cow them down. I also sell this concoction to other women to cow down their errand husbands and make them compliant.
“None of my two husbands wishes to leave me. Initially I only had Chimoto but I ran away from him and went to my parents’ home because he was not satisfying me sexually and I was tired of stealing sex from neighbouring boys and men. But he followed and pleaded until my parents ordered me to take him back.
“I then gave him a condition that I should get another man to help him in bed and he agreed. This is how I got the second one. Since then, we live happily and enjoy our life, although we know that the generality of people around us do not like it,” Chako explained.
The husbands, Hwita and Chimoto, on their parts, said they don’t have problems taking Chako says their joint wife.
Chimoto said, “I know my failings and I appreciate the decision which was taken, we have various duties and life goes on.”
Hwita said, “I see no problem. She loves both of us and we understand our situation. I respect Chimoto as the elder husband because I found him here.”
