Take my case for instance, mumsie was skeptical about letting me go to Canada since I really dont knw anyone and she really cant vouch for the quality of education, - prefers US that is . She travelled to China and S.Korea , got talking with her business associates and told them her last son just got admission into a Canadian University to study Comp. Sci. they all got up and started shaking her hands and congratulating her, telling her how good the country is and how lucky she was., how they try to get their kids into the country to study as well, Long story short, it was a good story on her part, huge business deals cut thru cos her kid is going to Canada. Same scenario happened when she was in Europe - Austria and Switzerland to be precise.

On that, I wouldnt even think twice about such a question o, Quality of education precedes any future business deals.

I'd say you just let her be, don't back off neither shld you keep forcing her. She's more of an introvert I'd say, so let her just keep expressing herself through whatever means she knows , let her keep doing that and you don't relent in your effort in making her feel good about that as well. Dont push too hard because that might turn her off. Watch her well and make sure you get her weakness and u keep acting on that, she will come up and say the words someday, when it gets so overwhelming for her.

Good thing she tells you such words, just keep being yourself. She might not be affectionate as well, so you wouldnt really expect her to say I love you, in person, but u get it via other means. Just try and act like you are content with that, give it time and u see there will be change!
