JessiliciousJes: PART 4
So sorry for not writing last night. I was so tired. Plus network dey f**k up for this side. Well, yesterday, i woke up by 1am as usual. After having my bath, i was shaking like a lunatic. Later, soldiers came to chase us from our hostels to the parade ground for meditation and practice. By 5:30am!!! Mehn... i don suffer no be small. We lined up in our different platoons and started the usual. Marching! Doing the same thing we did the previous day. Learning the routine we will use for our swearing-in the next day. We practiced under the hot sun for 4 hours again. By 9:30am, we were ordered to go have breakfast and return within one hour. You wont believe what these cooks decided to give us. Brown water (tea) and moulded flour(that they called bread). After that excessive practice we just did, tea and bread?! O boy, i carry myself go mammy right away and ate rice and confam palm oil stew with meat. After that, went to my room to rest. Gosh!!! My legs ached like never before. I fell into a deep sleep in a matter of seconds. By almost 11am, my friend woke me up to wear my shoes. Bia! Na only me come dey the hostel. Everyone else had already gone and they didnt wake me. Witchcraft and wickedness. Smh. Soldiers were going from room to room. I was almost caught but God win i ran very quickly. At the parade ground, i was just yawning and yawning. I was feeling really sleepy. We repeated the same routine till after 12pm. That was a huge relief!!! Just one hour but we were to return by 4pm. Lunch was yam porridge that i wasnt interested in. So i decided to go open a bank account, which i did with Ecobank. By 4pm, we went to the parade ground for the final practice of the day. We practiced till after 6pm and was ordered to come to the parade ground by 8am wearing our khaki outfit the following day for our swearing-in. At night, dinner was tuwo and okro soup with a piece of meat. I have never eaten tuwo before in my life. But it was ok. Those that werent on time had the "privilege" of eating bread and okro cos the tuwo had finished. Those that came later took bread and meat. Lol. I no fit laugh
Well, i then retired to my bed after. I camped in taraba state 2015 B, my yansh pain me for days after the long journey,.....cool Camp, condusive boys hostels, but the food they serve is that camp na original poooooo! You can do well to start visiting mama faith, and Olayinka at mami market..... Enjoy your stay in the camp.... I redeployed to OGUN state tho cos that place is too far for me |

To say that's how an average government primary school or an average school look like in Ondo state is a big lie... However, the school exists and its built by Gov. Mimiko administration. and they should all know he built all those school structures when he was still in labour party, he never build ordinary pure water factory since he joined PDP, soooo, PDP should shut the fucking hell up! Christianity Etc › Re: 8 Amazing facts about salvation you will not hear in many churches. by gentlelarry(m): 12:07pm On Dec 27, 2015 |
Scholar8200: Op, says you can make heaven even if you sin everyday of your life!(I read your article but since this is how you captioned it, it means it summarises your position). But my Bible tells me that: 1. 8 But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8 Interestingly, people quote this passage only when doing deliverance, they dont realise it was written in relation to freedom from sin (SIN BEING THE LEGAL GROUND FOR THE OPPRESSOR)!
2. 14 But afterward Jesus found him in the Temple and told him, “Now you are well; so stop sinning, or something even worse may happen to you.” John 5:14 Now will Jesus say this poor man should do what God cannot enable him to do? Besides, why not focus on deliverance from sin? Why indirectly encourage something that leaves the believers in bondage of worse things that come as result of sin? You mentioned fornication, do you realise that he that is joined to a harlot is one body with her? and that by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread(worthlessness)? No one will lie easily who knows that true repentance includes restitution!!!etc
3. My dear children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin. But [size=13pt]if[/size] anyone does sin, we have an advocate who pleads our case before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous.1John 2:1 It says IF not WHEN! Meaning its an exception not a norm because: But if, in our desire and endeavor to be justified in Christ [to be declared righteous and put in right standing with God wholly and solely through Christ], we have shown ourselves sinners also and convicted of sin, does that make Christ a minister (a party and contributor) to our sin? Banish the thought! [Of course not!] Gal. 2:17 Meaning if we seek the Advocacy of Christ, we wont hold on to sins!
4. 16 Do you not know that if you continually surrender yourselves to anyone to do his will, you are the slaves of him whom you obey, whether that be to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience which leads to righteousness (right doing and right standing with God)? Roman 6:16 Meaning if you obey sin everyday (like your topic puts it) do not deceive yourself, you are a servant of sin and the wages to be received is death!!!
5 You cited the OT practices but remember that it is written: Because the blood of bulls and goats is powerless to take sins away. Hebrews 10:4 hence your statement regarding this suggests that the sacrifice of Jesus was just as powerless!!!
6Let not sin therefore rule as king in your mortal (short-lived, perishable) bodies, to make you yield to its cravings and be subject to its lusts and evil passions. 13 Do not continue offering or yielding your bodily members [and [a]faculties] to sin as instruments (tools) of wickedness. But offer and yield yourselves to God as though you have been raised from the dead to [perpetual] life, and your bodily members [and faculties] to God, presenting them as implements of righteousness. 14 For sin shall not [any longer] exert dominion over you, since now you are not under Law [as slaves], but under grace [as subjects of God’s favor and mercy]. 15 What then [are we to conclude]? Shall we sin because we live not under Law but under God’s favor and mercy? Certainly not! 17 But thank God, though you were once slaves of sin, you have become obedient with all your heart to the standard of teaching in which you were instructed and to which you were committed. 18 And having been set free from sin, you have become the [b]servants of righteousness (of conformity to the divine will in thought, purpose, and action). You are the servant of the one you obey,'everyday'.
The desire of Christ is that the Church be,"... in glorious splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such things [that she might be holy and faultless].Ephesians 5:28 This should be our focus!!! God bless u. Perfectly said. Ephesians 5:28 check again sire. |

Like Sweetguy25 said in his thread, Yoruba and hausa are the only two tribes enjoying this scam called Nigeria. Igbos and their sisters in the Nigerian Delta don't gain anything by being Nigerians. The only reason Yoruba are happy being Nigerians is because the development of Nigeria is taking place in their region. 3. Nigeria does Not love the Igbos and Niger Deltans. Please remove that statement from. The Riverine environment of the Niger Delta has been destroyed from oil activities that bankrolls the country. Yoruba and Hausa don't care. talk about the igbo's alone and leave the niger delta out of it! They are not igbo's you know! They even hate the Igbo's more than yoruba or hausa! Culture › Eze Ndigbo In Yoruba Land .. A Case Study Of Akure Land Ondo State Nigeria. by gentlelarry(op): 5:35am On Oct 15, 2015 |
Akure, the capital of Ondo State, has remained grounded since Tuesday following a clash between Igbo indigenes and Akure youths. The Akure youths accused the Igbos of disrespecting their monarch, the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladelusi Aladetoyinbo. This followed the alleged refusal of the Igbos to obey the instruction giving by the monarch. DAILY POST gathered that the youths were furious over the manner the Eze-Ndigbo of Akure, sir, Gregory Iloehike allegedly addressed the Deji in his palace, when he (Iloehike) was invited. A palace source disclosed that trouble started between the Deji and Igbo residents, following the installation of an Igbo man as the chairman of one of the markets in Akure by the Eze-Ndigbo. Oba Aladetoyinbo was said to have been angry, having felt that it was a taboo for an Igbo man to rule over a market in Akure. It was gathered that the Akure monarch immediately summoned Iloehike but that to his surprise, the Eze-Ndigbo wore his crown to the Deji’s palace, an action said to be against the tradition of Akure. Irked by his attitude and responses to allegations leveled against him, the Chiefs and some youths who were in the palace ordered him to remove his crown. Deji of Akure was said to have suspended him from parading himself as Eze-Ndigbo. This development sent a wrong signal to the Igbo residents, who mobilized themselves to the palace, ordering the Deji to reverse his earlier statement on Iloehike. But they were unlucky as Akure youths flogged them out of the palace. Since the incident occurred on Tuesday, the Igbos, who dominate the Oba-Adesida road have refused to open for business. Rather, on Wednesday morning, they converged on their secretariat located at Gbogi Street, Akure as early as 7.00am and warned the Akure monarch against his plan to dethrone the Eze Ndigbo. They insisted that the traditional ruler had no power to dethrone Iloehike. The embattled Eze Ndigbo explained that he had not been rude to the Deji of Akure since he ascended the throne about six months ago, adding that he contributed immensely to the installation of the monarch. According to him “the Deji called me around 8.48pm last sunday inviting me to his palace and I honoured his invitation on monday morning. I went with one of my Chiefs, but when I got to the palace, I saw youths numbering over 200 who started shouting as I entered. I suspected that the youths were mobilized by the monarch and I showed respect to the Deji by prostrating for him. “The monarch while addressing me at his palace threatened to drive all the Igbos in Akure out of the city and when I asked for the offence my people committed, the youths at the palace descended on me. They tore my beads and removed my crown. They attempted to beat me but the Police officers at the Palace rescued me.” The Eze Ndigbo said the invitation by the monarch was the first he would receive from him since the monarch ascended the throne, pointing out that Igbos had been living harmoniously in Akure for over 70 years without friction with the natives. The spokesman for the Deji-in-Council who is the Asamo of Akureland, High Chief Olusanya was not in his palace for comments. He also could not pick calls made to him by daily post correspondent!
