chiomzy25:Let me see what you have gat at least you have seen my job here . Funny enough, I cooked another Okazi tonight and below is a picture. If you take a proper look at this picture, you will realise that this particular Afang soup is dry unlike d last one that had a little bit of water in it.
|
barackodam:Ramsey Tokunbo Noah is from Ondo state. |
chiomzy25:Alright!!! Let's go... |
reminiscing:Aiiight. ![]() |
reminiscing:Hahaha lol!!!! Funny u. But on a serious note, I ve gone past that stage in life. I am only inviting u for dinner in summer without any intent. Must I trap u cos of dinner? C 'mon!!! |
chiomzy25:Don't try me cos you would be defeated hands down |
reminiscing:I ll invite u for Dinner soon. Buy your ticket and prepare to come around in Summer |
dennistar:No worries!! You r entitled to your opinion Sir. Good for ya! I appreciate your comment and I ll make it better when next I embark on this soup journey again. However, take a proper look at that picture, you ll see the water leaf on the plate while Okazi was in d blender. Also, blender is d only option we have in this part of d world... |
chiomzy25:You are naturally born with cooking skill as a lady but........ |
nelcliff:Kent, UK |
reminiscing:Do u hate food? |
reminiscing:Sometimes, I love treating myself to a lot of obstacles that are already singing Hallelujah in my pot; Abodi meat is d best when it comes to Okazi soup; it encircles itself with Okazi leaves and dishes out tthis unique, unrivalled and heavenly taste. Chaiii!!! If u want to really enjoy dis soup, wait till a day after d cooking of d soup. D meat stock, d meat itself and other jagbajantis must/would have settled down very well and balance d soup with pounded yam left over. |
chubbypearl:Absolutely agreed with u. Crayfish is Okazi and Okazi is crayfish; goes hand in hand as far as dis yummy soup is concerned |
ANAMBRA11:My friend, don't be offended if my post(s) sounds as if I was bragging about my past. No! Far from that, I wasn't my brother. There is no way I ll talk abt these soup-Nsala, Okazi etc without mentioning those ladies. Blessed them in their husband homes. It's lije each time I want to talk about my driving skill, my mind always goes to my dad who taught me how to drive...... I op this explanation ll give u a clear picture of my intent Please, don't let us see everything around us from tribal perspective. I have never been conscious of where anybody comes from until I became a Nairaland member. I see everybody as Nigerians before I joined dis forum where your ethnic identity is really important and relevant I have passed that stage in my life but I was only giving a credit to these ladies in question. |
chubbypearl:Thks but I used No 2 setting on the blender which doesn't turn d leaves to paste. Here is d dry crayfish at d corner of d picture
|
Gold spot but where is Limca |
stagger:No my friend, don't say that, having tasted all sort of Wazobia soup from ex skelewus (born again now) from different part of d country, I can say Nigeria(Yoruba,Ijaw,Itsekirri-Nsala soup tomorrow, Igbo, Calabar axis) is unrivally blessed. |
justi4jesu:I need the stock to make Efo Riro u know what I mean ![]() |
VickyRotex: ![]() |
BruzMoney:You r welcome anytime. And guess what, I ll be making Nsala soup tomorrow; Riverine people soup |
Begonia:Here is London, everything is packaging; there is dry and wet Okazi but I prefer the wet one cos it's quite easy to blend for me. |
sexyattorney:Yes I did. |
priskelly:You better wipe your face wt clean handkerchief; how can you say that d woman in that picture is naturally beautiful......... In d first place, she does not deserve to be on that list, I don't know how she ended up on that list. Funke Mimiko(Ondo state) looks better than her in all ramifications. |
It's called DANSIKI In Yoruba Nation but Ibadan peeps called it DANSHIIKI |
Chaiii!!!! Egbon is really messing up big time |
I remember reading all night with this lantern.....
|
franugo:I was really upset u know. Can't we just appreciate ourselves as Africans? Is it a curse or smting that we must always bring ourselves down? |
searching4love:Bad belle!!!!! There are thousands like you who were born and brought up in penury but still went ahead to borrow money to execute unnecessary wedding. There are thousand millionaires or billionaires out there who are captains of industries; their first major financial breakthrough came as a result of their little savings which were eventually used as a Capital outlay into their small businesses. However, it was d same amount of money that gave these self-made billionaires d financial freedom for life was what you and your likes spent on unnecessary wedding so as to satisfy your society or the woman that ll soon dump u for someone who has got a future. The most important ting in life is what is being displayed right there in that picture which is happiness. Wedding or marriage is overrated; it's a mere norm that Africa society believe so much in. Kids out of wedlock u said!! Really! Tell me more about what i don't know. Listen, you better wake up from your dream and mental slavery............... Finally, I challenge you to put up your picture here as a child that wasn't born out of wedlock and let's see how far u ve gone in life......... Wedlock my foot. |
sinaj: I think you shld start planning d celebration of our next birthday which is this coming June. Money ll be made available and d rest shld be sorted out by u.... |
Nope!!!! Yea!!! Yea!!!!! I did in School |
I knew it |
