nduchucks:The same mistake your progenitors made in the North when your progenitors were growing in population, politics and business in Kano before they were caught out. Before 2015 election or better still before Jonathan tenure, Yorubas have moved on from ethnic/tribal politics. They never see Igbos as a political threat in their land but having heard and experienced your repulsive utterances and attitude in the last 4 years, trust me, this is end of the road to any Igbo politician in South West. However, let me quickly refresh your memory as regards what happened in post 1963 election, Yorubas loved and voted for Nnamdi Azikiwe party in Lagos; they didn't see things from tribal perspectives until your progenitors started what you are doing now and that was end of their political relevance in South West. I remember Yorubas telling you here that Jonathan will not be voted in South west but you all thought it was a joke until you see the result. I am betting you on this, come 2019, the Igbos are gone and none ll be allowed to come back again. Finally, it's ok to give a minority group a chance as far as politics is concerned in a cosmopolitan city like Lagos just like every other cosmopolitan cities around the world where Nigerians are holding political offices; it would have been absurd for Nigerians to start rubbing their political success and relevance to their hosts'faces; that they are taking over their city. It ll naturally send a red alert to the host community. This repulsive attitude of Igbos will even cause chaos in developed countries such as: Britain, US, Canada etc NB, Edo state has always been our brothers and sisters regardless what you Igbos say or do. If you go into Yoruba part of Nollywood, you ll see the likes of Mercy Aigb, Liz, Toyin Aimhaku, Doris etc and these ladies are doing exceptionally well without being discriminated against..... This is what most Yorubas are doing in South west to some of Igbos who are not financially ok and I guess there are so many stories like mine..... I never see Igbo as Igbo until I joined Nairaland. We have a tenant called Sunday from Enugu as we chat here, he used to be a businessman who owns a big pharmaceutical store. Thus, things began to change from financial freedom to financial chaos. He couldn't even feed himself and his younger ones from Enugu talk less of paying his house rent. My old yoruba took these people like their own and started treating them like their children even to the point that my girlfriend then couldn't believe that we r not in a way related. However, after one year of not paying a penny, my parents called my attention that Sunday and his younger ones are not paying rent and being fed by them, I told my parents to continue to do what they r doing. |
Zikdik:Forget that dream bro, it can never happen. They are neither getting any vote in d West nor in d North; do me I do u, God no go vex. |
omenka:I equally pray to God to grant them Biafra Nation so as to avoid what is about to befall them politically. They have lost Northerners and Westerners for life. And guess what, SS is running back to their mentor- Westerners after this election except Akwa Ibom axis and part of delta. Northerners and Westerners seemed to have moved on with their lives after what was done to their prominent military officers and civilian politicians by Igbos in 60s. However, Igbos thought that they are the only one that has capacity to hold grudges, anger, nurse and harbor hatred towards others but unknown to them that it was a spirit of forgiveness at the part of other Nations within Nigeria state that paved way for d little peaceful co-existence we r all enjoying today. They have now opened the wounds again in 21st century and it ll be difficult for Igbos to seek anything from these two Nations politically today and in the future. And without these two Nations on your side as far as politics is concerned in Nigeria; you better kiss your political dreams bye bye. |
Lol!!!!! Who do you think would pay the price of that purported stupidity? Niger deltans of course. With d existence of oil in their region, the whole region still look like South Sudan. Take Portharcourt from that axis and that region will look similar to Eritrea. The destruction of these oil Wells will only make the Northerners to go back to their drawing board and make things happen just like in 60s when your progenitors were searching for jobs in the North. If you like, burn the whole country to ashes but trust me, Yoruba Nation will thrive either with or without your oil. We have always been your boss and we ll continue to be.... |
Ventura1:Check Nigeria history from independence and you won't be disappointed in SE (formed alliance with Northern Oligarchy party at the expense of southern Nigeria in 60s-1st republic . It equally repeat itself again in 70s-2nd republic again) |
cocoduck:It's obvious to the blind that we are in not on this same level of intelligence but it ll be a disservice to my people if I choose to glance through your repulsive write up and walk away. History tells us how your progenitors diligently served the same Northerners in 60s and 70s as slaves at the detriment of Westerners and the entire south; we accepted our fate as a Yoruba Nation and the rest of the southern Nigeria and moved on. Perhaps you are not taught in your local community School about how educated Nnamdi Azikiwe was but allowed himself to be deputised by a mere teaching' certificate holder(Tafawa Balewa) in 60s. Can you now see that the precedent was actually laid down by your own progenitors. However, We in south west honestly taught that you guys must have learnt your lesson in the first republic but to our surprise again in 70s, your progenitors sold themselves to slavery again and Alex Ekwueme was cheaply deputised by a mere School certificate holder while we Yorubas look on...... I won't go on and on for now as far as this topic is concerned; it's a topic for another day but if u want to bring it on, I ll tell one of little siblings to log in with my Acct details and do justice on this topic for u......... Finally, do Yorubas look like people that need your oil? Far from it. I think you need to work to the nearest Library close to your Hut or probably House and pick a Yoruba history book and read about Yorubas Let me even give u a clue as to know how far Yorubas would go as a Nation on her own without a cursed oil, looking at our pattern of voting; it's as good as how Westerners do their, isn't it? What does that tell you? Think abt that. 80% of wealthy nations around the world are not a member of OPEC. .. |
Kagame:I can easily predict what Yorubas would have done if Buhari is paired with Igbo/South south person in this current election my friend but as long as the opposition party is represented by the same Jonathan/Samba who have failed all Nigerians. And what I am equally sure about is that If a good Igbo man is paired with another good Igbo man(Soludo/the late Nafdac woman) today, I bet my life on this, Yorubas will massively vote for these Igbos or Hausas(Buhari/Lamido Sanusi) as long as the opposition party is filled up with the likes of these following Yorubas- Yoruba paired with Yoruba(Fayose and Obanikoro/Agbaje/Mimiko/Bankole/Omisore/Fani Kayode/Late/living Agagu etc) Let Ngige come to South west and I can assure you that Ngige might win election against a Yoruba man. The only thing that will count against him in south west is this "political norm" in Nigeria not only in South west but in the North too. Igbos don't give political office to any other tribe which is nothing but the truth |
Kagame:Mr man, this wrong assumptions about Yorubas and the Northerners is the only singular action that is breaking the relationship between Igbos and Yorubas apart and of course the Northerners. Why all these assumptions when the available fact is cheaply giving you all the necessary fact that you need to know? Why did Yorubas vote against their son in person of Bakare in 2011 and voted for Jonathan massively? Why did Yorubas voted against their son in person of Aremu Obansanjo in 1999? Why did Yorubas voted for Nnamdi Azikiwe party in 60s in Lagos? You see, it's pretty shameful to see people like you and your likes destroying the little-left relationship between Yorubas and Igbos with these assumption; Yorubas are voting for Osinbajo cos he is a Yoruba man u said; highly disappointed in you |
Desteenee:Igbos are more United now than ever before Mr man. They didnt even give Ojukwu this much support wjen he needed it in 1999 and 2003. Igbos massively voted for Agbaje not even cos they love Agbaje but out of their hatred for anything that represent the progression of Yoruba race; fact bro. You are stylishly coming up with this disunity rhetoric among Igbos as an excuse so as to save igbo faces. The political mistake you and your people continue to make is hating on Yorubas and Hausas/Fulanis and without these two Nations in support of your presidential bid, trust me, there is no way an Igbo man would win a presidential election in this country. Yorubas and Hausas/Fulanis are not happy with what Igbos did to them too in the past but the good thing is that they have moved on; forming political and traditional alliance when it's necessary..... |

Let me burst your bubble with the statistics you have right there. I have been to four prominent universities in the East on assignments few years ago; these following universities are all in the East: University of Nigeria(UNN), Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Federal university of technology Owerri and Nnamdi Azikiwe University. However, few hours on ground in these Universities, the first thing i noticed was their grammatical blunders and horrible Igbotic accent on the lips of all the students I chatted with and the ones passing by; pure unrefined accent that would make any stranger to ask questions as to how they managed to write and pass their English lang exams. I can authoritatively tell you that I was xtremely disappointed with what I saw; 65% of students in these universities would not have been admitted in the South West universities even in the North............... |
AlfaSeltzer:Amen; everything about Yoruba ll be far away from you and your future generation, Amen. |
MayorofLagos:You are right.... |
Having witnessed about 4 presidential election in the past years in Nigeria, I knew right from day one that Yorubas would not vote for Jonathan even if Jonathan was a Yoruba man; Yorubas won't vote for him. Yoruba citizens are like citizens of western world who are well enlighten as to elect and vote out their performing or under performing/non-performing leaders Obasanjo messed up in late 70s but got his report sheet in 1999 from his own people by not voting for him Bankole (former speaker) has been relegated to a mere grassroot politician in south west as a result of his political failure Bode George, if not cos of Jonathan, Bode George political career is done in South west Obanikoro political career is subconsciously done too And their remaining political prostitutes and thieves in South west The Yoruba politicians that might go down politically after Jonathan tenure are; Fayose, Mimiko, Femi Fani Kayode, Kashamu etc Agbaje would survive it..... |
South West is too politically sophisticated for someone to play tribal or religious game with; Yorubas is the only tribe that will vote against his own son in favour of a stranger. Obasanjo openly said that Yorubas didn't vote for him in 1999 election and that was nothing but a plain truth. |
Apc leading in South west... |
bigtt76:They called the people that falls into this polythene category "Wèrè ni' Oluwa ba mi se" in Yoruba which means that the acquisition of the car was a Miracle. Perhaps they inherited the car or inherited the money with which the car was bought from their father or mother's death. Abiìi how do u xplain to people that you could afford a new car but unable to protect the seats with insurance cover? Bizarre!!! Isn't it? I strongly believed that If you can afford a new car, then you/they should be able to buy STAIN/LEATHER GUARDX CAR SEAT INSURANCE on the car which ll prevent the car seats from being stained regardless what u or children split/drop on the interiors. |
Rawani: Disgusting attitude to say d least. These stingy people will carry the phone for 3 years or more without removing the protective film from the phone screen. The semi-stingy ones among them will equally use the protective film for a year and buy another one to cover the beauty of the phone. The dirty and stingy ones among these people even add salt upon injury by leaving the protective film unclean and untidy; you ll see the edge of the protective film filled with some black dirt and other nasty bacteria.... Chaiii!!! The same thing applied to people who bought a new car with a lovely full leather seats but only to go and buy this disgusting car seat cover and bury d beauty of the car in it. |
prettydiva89:I laughed at you guys who stupidly attribute every domestic violence or shortcomings in relationship to " out of wedlock". There are million of marriages going through the same fate(Domestic violence and other abuses) right now around the world despite the fact that these unions were blessed in Church and Court during marriage rites. Even if you have your wedding in heaven with billions of naira or in your living room with few people in attendance as result of poor financial capacity, a bad or woman will always remain a bad and wicked man or woman. If a man or woman is naturally disrespectful and violent, trust me, marriage will never stop him from beating his wife or abuse her husband..... Sometimes, most violent men claimed that they have paid dowries on their wives which literally means to them(violent men) that they have bought their wives and they can do whatever they choose to do with the goods(Their Wives) that had been bought with their money. Above all, what matters in any relationship is if a man/woman is a God-fearing person; not fake one. And if your man or woman is a God-fearing person, trust me, you are automatically blessed with everything in marriage and even the famous " out of wedlock"/cohabitation. A God-fearing person is always guided by his/her conscience which means they ll hardly hurt people regardless what you have done to them. You don't necessarily need to see these God-fearing people in Churches; they are everywhere around u if you look closely. If you take your time as a fiance or fiancee, you ll know easily if your partner is God fearing or not. They are naturally like that not because they r Christian or Muslim..... NB: RUN FOR YOUR LIFE IF YOU FIND OUT THAT YOUR SO CALLED FIANCE OR FIANCEE IS NOT GOD-FEARING.... |

IGBOSON1:....... "Dimwit" went blind as usual when you read your kinsman's post( We-Igbos are not angry with those pictures one bit but determined to cause havoc that will surpass that upon your yoruba people) but suddenly got healed from being blind the moment you saw my post. Am I disappointed? My answer is Nope; i m not. I m not disappointed coz we are used to this double standard when it comes to Igbos. ....... |
waternogetememy:Just read what you wrote up there and tell me that you are sane. War is unpredictable; it might turn out to consume you before u say Jack Ojukwu who was militarily trained in one of the best military schools in the world equally thought that Igbos were well prepared for war and felt that others ethnic groups would easily be defeated but unknown to him that it's only a fool that thinks his father's farm is the biggest... You foolishly believe that Yorubas ll be watching you slaughtering their children Germans had the same stupid mentality after 1st world war; they thought that they could wage war against the world with the vengeance of 1st world war but unknown to them that others were preparing for war as much as Germans were preparing then Yorubas has the best relationship with other nations within Nigeria state and it ll be easy for them to deal with you guys easily... Being landlocked is another thing you guys need to take into consideration before waging your war In all wars that had ever been fought in the world history, it's only Biafra that expected their enemies to feed their families It's well known that blockade or any means could be use in a war if there is need for it and that was the reason why America chose to Nuke Japan Yorubas are used to war right from the beginning of their existence and trust me, no Igbo's soul ll remain in Lagos or any state in the west after d any future/today war cos Yorubas have learnt their lessons now The same fate is awaiting u in the North as we chat here Ijaw or Niger deltans are only using guys for this coming election and as soon as it's over ...... |
Segeggs:You r too GBASKI and MOUTHED...... |
Cleaning the plate with his tongue... |
bros1234:Jonathan is a dangerous chameleon; d last person on earth to be trusted by anybody going by his precedent. How are u sure that Jonathan has not tried to influence the judgement? Remember that not all Judges are corrupt... Some judges are creditable; will always stand their ground regardless whose ox is gored. These judges don't entertain any monetary, tribal or political influence in their judgements. |
GBTYO:The same US that was beaten like a crying baby in Vietnam. The same US that couldn't fight Japan in conventional war and resulted to Nuclear war so as to save her face The US that failed woefully in Iraq and Afghanistan..... C'mon, the same US that was throwing all sorts of war threat against Russia when Georgia president was being silly towards Russia but quickly hide when Russia started pounding Georgia |
tit:Your progenitors equally thought that they could get away with murders in 60s under d pretence of fighting corruption..... Rwanda genocide started on issue like this and Tutsi never thought that things ll turn out d way it did..... |
englishmart:At least, allowing you and your people to live their country is saving souls of your brothers and sisters from dying in poverty in that landlocked region... Go to Apo , Karu village and Mpape village in Abuja and see how your brothers and sisters dying in Penury; u ll cry on their behalf. And guess what, all the brothels in these villages are all filled up with your sisters as prostitutes...... And finally, your Brothers are not left out of this heart trending stories; they are dying like chickens as a result of their encounter with Nigeria police in course of robbery gone wrong overnight. I bet my life on dis, you ll regret coming from that part of d country. If you go to all the police commands in Abuja municipal area in d morning and you don't see abt 6 to 10 bodies of your Igbo brothers on the floor with their dried blood all over them, come back here and call me a liar. Real story fool..... |
Islie:Abomination anywhere!!!!! It's not acceptable here either but some supposed married men turned sisi men are giving all these so called 21st century ladies (turned men) a platform to send men to kitchen to do the cooking |
Islie:There are load of guys like that around here in UK as well as US.... |
FrancisTony:My primary school gate was better than this as back as early 80s. |

for trying to draw democracy aback in Nigeria. Big up to the like of the Lion itself Gov Amaechi, Gov Okorocha, Chris Ngige and other to APC chieftain from the region. I also salute all those that defy the rain yesterday at PH to protect the rigging in the region.
