NIA works. If only you know their modus operandi. They are also undercover agents in most security outfits in the country and organisations of interest. They are mostly dead spy wherein you hardly identify them like DSS. Someone equated them to CIA, and that's the truth. They are more overt than covert ensuring that job credits are given to sister agencies to avoid exposure.

They are supposed to be Nigeria's version of the CIA, helping with high level internal and foreign security, intelligence and diplomacy... Unfortunately those entrusted with the organisation's mandate of leadership have been visionless and it's been proven to be another office to siphon federal funds.

The DSS on the other hand are primarily meant to protect the interest and security of the presdient and governors, they also help with internal security, working closely with the police and military, but they are far more active than the NIA.

Despite all these, kidnappings, banditry, killer herdsmen are growing on a daily basis, with all the security agencies like the NIA, DSS, Military, Police and NSCDC, no intelligence whatsoever. They have destroyed the security architecture of the country with nepotism and negative politics.

Please someone should educate me on this government Agency, NIA. Nigeria intelligence agency? How are they different from the DSS? What roles do they play in National security? Do they carry arms like the DSS?

I am currently having same challenge. The GLO SIM that l have been using for the past 15 years was barred yesterday. No Calls/SMS in and out. lodge your complain at the police state. provide all evidence and also tender a statement down. if there is any suspect, invite them for questioning. if all that has been done. then you need a proactive measures to track those devices before those information are wiped out from the device. and you will need the services of an IT expert that is into Network monitoring and infrastructure, which in turn will laise with all relevant network provider to fast track the process. things like this is what can be done within a time frame. Nigeria happened to all. chai want to know how to go about it, let me know.

Hey Guys ... Thank you for your advise.. To the glory of God .. The thief was caught yesterday by DSS agents. The stolen tablets was tracked in another state from aways from the crime scene. My goodness, I respect DSS o. They did the job with high precision and thief is one of our male cleaners. He has been handed over to the police for further investigations. Thank you again.
