I was there live this afternoon at Cerdarcrest hospital Gwarimpa. My friend and I wanted to see the hospital receptionist but we were denied entry by the rogue policemen telling us to go back saying something like "oga pikin dey inside. No pass tha line no pass am". I was reluctant and wanted to go through but I was blocked again and this time they cocked rifle threatening to shoot me if I trespass. I wonder what kind of country is this. Denying me of my own right to access our useless hetalthcare even after being taxed monthly.

The comparism isn't fair sha.A 406 should be compared with a Camry or Avalon,a corolla with maybe d 306 or 307.
The 406 is a very nice car,stable at high speeds,good ground clearance,cheap parts,spacious,strong suspension parts but unfortunately Nairaland gurus seem to hate Peugeots.
Personally used one for 5 yrs from zero miles and d only problem it had thruout d period was an incident of spoilt ECU and misfire originating from one injector.Never experienced d oft claimed electrical wahalas which our resident car talk ogas accuse Peugeots of.

The only good thing I know about d corolla is they claim anybody including a bicycle repairer can work on it.The parts are even costlier than that of d 406,very weak suspension parts,light like a paper kite on d highway .
Then U should also remember you will be within the gunsight all d armed robbers and car thieves in west Africa if U decide to use that corolla.

I like your analysis and contribution.... One key feature you have mentioned about 406 is the good suspension quality.. I don't know why most car gurus hate Peugeot though...

US Navy officials have said it was "absolutely unacceptable" that one of their pilots used a jet's contrail to draw a penis in the sky.
The phallic outline over Okanogan County in the western US state of Washington provoked much mirth online.
But commanders at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island did not see the funny side and have ordered an inquiry.
A spokesman for the airbase confirmed that the aircraft involved was one of its Boeing EA-18G Growlers.

Russia has signed a deal to build two nuclear power plants in Nigeria, as Africa's largest economy seeks to end its energy crisis.
Russian state-owned company Rosatom will build one in the south, the other in the centre, sources at the Nigeria Atomic Energy Commission told the BBC.

The deal's exact worth is unknown, although some reports suggest it is likely in the region of $20bn (£15bn).
It is one of a number that Rosatom has been eyeing on the continent.
The company is also involved in discussions in Ghana and South Africa.
An initial agreement with the latter to build a plant was ruled unlawful in a South African court earlier this year.
The deal in Nigeria was reached after a long period of negotiation, with the two countries signing their first intergovernmental nuclear co-operation agreement in 2009.

Nigeria hopes the plants, which will initially be operated by Rosatom before they are handed over, will help deal with the country's energy deficit.
According to World Bank figures, more than 40% of the country was without mains electricity in 2014.
Nigeria is one of Africa's largest oil producers, but much of its oil wealth has been squandered over the years.
Corruption at all levels has left the country out of pocket, and producing a fraction of the energy its 180 million citizens need.
Construction of the new power plants is expected to begin in the next two years.

The most painful aspect of the whole thing is that billions will be budgeted yearly for it yet nothing will be done about it.

From my little knowledge of how money works... if you observe inflation is always high during weekends i.e Fri and Sat because that is when people patronize the market most.. Prices of commodities are cheaper during weekdays... More money tends to chase few goods during the weekend compared to weekdays... That is why l don't buy tomatoes, onions and atarodo during weekends
