I knw wia dia HQ is, as an experienced banker, i had an interview wit dem april 2012. Afterwards, heard dat embargo has bn placed on recruitment esp B.Sc/Experienced hires.
These ar the reasons for ma questions. So i wanna knw which particular cadre of CV dey ar collecting. if its B.Sc, means the recruitment embargo has been lifted.

Is it the OND/NCE stuff that has been on their website since 2012? Is it B.Sc or Experienced Bankers.

Pls a friend of mine is expecting a marketing interview call up from UBA anytime from now. Pls has anybody done a marketing based interview for exp hire in UBA? Wat wia d questions asked and aw many stages of interview wil he go thru?

demis: @georgee, the interview went well, most of their question was based on what can you do in three month as a maketer and what was ur target as against your cabal size in your former bank, how will you explain the effect of the present economic situation in the country as it affect the banking industry? and so many other questions like that, it was a panel of three.

Thanx demis, buh i dnt av any marketting experience at all as if av always bn an operations person. Wil i be asked marketing or operations questions based on my CV?

This is wat i dnt like hearing. Recruitment on hold, embargo on recruitment. Fidelity bank did same, placing recruitment on hold since 2012.

Just got a text frm them also to come for test in ibadan, their Dugbe. Tomorrow by 9am. Dnt think i can make it. Was told to dress well, maybe interview afta test.

Just receieved another Text from UBA making ref to the last text sent that the interview date is Tue 22-01-2013.
Guess someone finally noticed the date omission.

Were u an operations or marketing person in ur former bank?

I dont av a single marketting experience. Av been an operations person all my life. Foreign operations. I'm sure they saw my CV before inviting me for an interview. I doubt it wuld be for a marketting position.

Text msg actually came in 6:45pm today. I want to believe the interview is 6pm Monday, since the text was sent on Friday evening. U knw UBA thingy, i heard it's sharp sharp.

Hello house,
Just got an interview invite from UBA to come for an interview by 6pm, no date specified. Who esle is in my shoe and pls pls, who's done experienced level interview in UBA.
Cant even explain aw ma CV got dia, buh am sure frm so many pple i gave it to.

My lapTop is infected with Virus. It affected my USB flash drive, affected my Phone (connected to the lappy tru USB). How much is a not too expensive but effective anti-virus.

Congrats in adv, i aslo dropped mine around dat time. Nothing yet on my phone. I think it should be based on ur job function in ur former bank. U culd just tell 'em u wanna earn a lil above wat wia earning in ur former bank. Sry to ask, wat dept/unit wia u in ur former bank?
