Hello house,
Pls a friend of mine is expecting a marketing interview call up from UBA anytime from now. Pls has anybody done a marketing based interview for exp hire in UBA? Wat wia d questions asked and aw many stages of interview wil he go thru?
Thanx

demis: @georgee, the interview went well, most of their question was based on what can you do in three month as a maketer and what was ur target as against your cabal size in your former bank, how will you explain the effect of the present economic situation in the country as it affect the banking industry? and so many other questions like that, it was a panel of three.

Thanx demis, buh i dnt av any marketting experience at all as if av always bn an operations person. Wil i be asked marketing or operations questions based on my CV?
Were u a marketer in ur former bank?

This is wat i dnt like hearing. Recruitment on hold, embargo on recruitment. Fidelity bank did same, placing recruitment on hold since 2012.

Head office. By 6pm
I strongly doubt the possibility of ur frend gate-crashing. Anythn is possible sha

Alamu, i wont even go.. I have UBA interview to attend tomorrow

demis: Pls UBA interview is how many stages for the experienced hire and how fast is their recruitment process? i just did my interview on the 11th of this month in Abuja.

what is their salary like for BO and SBO the new scale?

How did the interview go? Wat kinda questions wia asked

Just got a text frm them also to come for test in ibadan, their Dugbe. Tomorrow by 9am. Dnt think i can make it. Was told to dress well, maybe interview afta test.

Just receieved another Text from UBA making ref to the last text sent that the interview date is Tue 22-01-2013.
Guess someone finally noticed the date omission.

Gave my CV to an insider mar 2012

Wen is ur interview, cos i received a text msg on fri to come for an interview at thier HQ. Date was missing frm the text, time is 6pm.
Were u an operations or marketing person in ur former bank?

I dont av a single marketting experience. Av been an operations person all my life. Foreign operations. I'm sure they saw my CV before inviting me for an interview. I doubt it wuld be for a marketting position.

sucrecandy: Congrats Dear. Go and make us proud. Prepare very well...All da best!

Thanx!

Amen kay,
No probs, will surely post any info i av on this thread.

Thanx Alamu, knew i culd count on ur brotherly advice.
Text msg actually came in 6:45pm today. I want to believe the interview is 6pm Monday, since the text was sent on Friday evening. U knw UBA thingy, i heard it's sharp sharp.
