steffanym: Hi Gereal Please how did you get your wife's transcript from uniben? How much did it cost and how long did it take. I would really appreciate if you respond. Thanks. Just seeing this. First am a lady. Took about 3 months. That's because I used Etx and they delayed for 6 weeks without doing anything. Had to pursue the transcript my self. Pm me so I send you a contacts number in UNIBEN |

yimiton: Kai! Now, I'm feeling left behind. I'm leaving in January, it seems so far now that I've got my approval! lol.
What province are you going? Hi. Am leaving in January too. Was worried that I would be the only one braving the cold. What province are you heading to. I am heading to alberta. |

yimiton: My Dear people, please don't blame me for being impatient oh, in my mind, I am already in Canada and I plan to leave in December or latest January.
But you know, final arrangement like sale of property and booking of flight cannot be confidently done unless we see our COPR and stamped passports.
So, to help me plan properly, I will appreciate if you will drop how long it took from the day Accra received your passports to the day they you got the mail, informing you that they're ready.
We tracked and saw that ours were delivered to Accra on the 22nd of September, 2017.
Please how long did yours take?
Has your application been approved on your CIC account. If it has and you are yet to get pick up mail then you can send a mail to accra office and copy cpc ottawa too |

Dewys1: Guys pls I need help on the bolded below. For those that that have gone through medicals. I had a minor surgery last year and Wifey went through CS two years ago. Do we have to collect any report from hospital. Pls help! Thats why its called medicals. You go and they run tests, if anything comes up then they would inform you if they need more clarification. You don't need to go with any report. The doctor would ask you questions about your health and all and carry out a physical examination, blood and urine tests and xray. CS is not an issue so wifey should be fine. You might need to discuss the reason for your surgery though but its up to you |

lilyandie: My fellow house people, I dey hail o.
Can I touch my POF after I submit my application, I'm a salary earner, I need to use some part of the money for stuff. I will replace it eventually, but can I at least touch it.
You can touch it. but make sure the money doesn't go below the required amount. it would look suspicious if CIC asks for updated POF and they see that from the date of submission to date you haven't touched your money. the bottom line is to put in salary and spend but try not to dip into your POF too much. Hope this helps. |

You can also try IELTSLIZ on you-tube. google ielts tips also. the main thing is to understand how the test is administered and the different sections involved. once you understand this, you would do well. after all you have been speaking English from birth. |

This group has been very inspirational in my Canada Immigration Journey.
A dream that started in April 2016 has finally come to pass.
We indeed serve an awesome God. We decided to start this journey in June 2016 but when we calculated the financial implication coupled with the high CRS then we had to let go of the dream.
But Mercy said NOOOOOOo!!!!!!!
Come 2017 with no idea how we would survive the recession we decided to try getting student visas, at least schooling in Canada would enable us get PNP. The search for schools started. settled on a school only to realize that we had one month left to apply. in our bid to gather documents, we stumbled on Australian Immigration System. we decided to try that, then we realized that they verify work experience and are at liberty to slash it if they are not convinced, i decided to find out the latest concerning Express Entry.
My eyes could not believe it, the required CRS Points had dropped.
We had three choices, School, Australian or Canadian EE. Being an Accountant, i drew up budgets required for all three processes, and submitted to Hubby. We prayed and decided to go for Canadian EE being cheaper and more realistic.
Then we had to start getting funds together and all.
First step was to apply for ECA from WES which we did on the 2nd of March, applied for IELTS and wrote it on the 8th of April.
Results came out April 21, LRSW 8.5, 9, 8, 7. Since WES was delaying hubby registered for IELTS just in case points started rising ( LRSW 8.5, 9, 8, 7.5).
After plenty tweets at WES plus disturbing the school, ECA came out May 29th. We created EE Profile MAY 29 and registered for Job Bank May 30.
ITA came May 31 and then another process began. the race to gather documents and get required funds ready. Finally submitted August 9.
see timeline below: EE Profile May 30 CRS 441 ITA May 31 AOR Aug 9 MEP Aug 21 IP1 Aug 25 NA2 Aug 28 IP2 Sep 1 PPR Sep 6 NOC 1111 Dependents 4. We serve an awesome God. .
We didn't use hubby IELTS because we didn't get his results till June 1st. This is to encourage everyone. Do your best and leave the rest for God.
For IELTS, it is English that we have speaking from birth. Ensure you understand the rudiments of the test. focus on tips and practice, practice , practice. Above all, Trust God.
sorry for the long post, i have dreamed of this day since last year. lol. thanks to @mummyjaygirls, @ dupsyshoo and every wonderful contributor on this forum.
we will get there. Amen |

perks: ECA still missing in action. I have been calling, sent mails and even fax messages. I have decided to remove my mind and not let it bother me my brother. Let dem send it wen they r ready. Nonesense.
CC: Gliteringstar You can tweet them. That speeds things up. @wescanada. Once my verification was done the evaluation took less than 5 days. If your school has sent the verification, please go to twitter and disturb them. |

MummyJaygirls: I'm sure CIC agents know toddlers can be a handful and wouldn't mind. Besides a passport photo will be requested for again at ppr stage which will be used for the PR card and That may be the day he will close mouth, so don't worry.
My own pikin bend mouth and head in her own picture after many trials and I used it like that. I can not come and kii maisef. Lol
Good luck Thank you so much. Hmmm. |

[/sub][sub]

Hello Guys,
I have been having struggles with my wife's WES verification from Uniben. Information I gathered from here (Nairaland) was that the verification can be concluded at exams and records.
But my contact there is saying that upon receipt of WES verification letter, the verification still undergo processing going through some tables for signings, and then need to be sent back to WES via hard copy through DHL. That means another cost of N12K+ for DHL.
Please who has done WES verification from Uniben before. I need clarification.
I refused to use the contact that process the initial transcript because he used standard mail to send the transcript to WES Canada hence it took over 4 weeks to get there, that was after collecting cash for DHL.
Please help.
[well i had to send money for it to be sent via DHL. they send email but WES would not acknowledge the email because i did that but WES kept saying they were awaiting verification from institution untill i asked my contact to DHL it.] |

yungreezy: guys, please has anyone here used ETX-NG to process transcripts from his or her institution to be sent to IQAS or WES?
I need to know if they are reliable and their delivery time.
etx ng are a bunch of useless thieves. i would strongly advice that you either go to your school and pursue your transcript process or better still get someone there to do it for you. i applied with them for my transcript from UNIBEN however after 2 months, i had to travel down to Benin myself to know the status, it was then i discovered that all etx did was to apply and didnt follow up. the letter of application was still in exams and records and had not been sent to the faculty or processing. i had to start the process myself and finally got my transcript out after an 3weeks. imagine if i had just done it myself from the start would have saved myself all that headache. anyways depends on your school. if u know anyone who has successfully used them from your school well you can go ahead but if you are from UNIBEN please go and do it yourself. |
