EducationRe: Arranging Your Private Hostel Room by gfunk1: 4:30am On Oct 22, 2015
The value of a carefully and well organized student accommodation is beyond the physical pleasure. The beauty always reflects in your life and your style.

Often times, if the arrangement is well done, you get a sense of accomplishment which aids a forward thinking required for success in other aspect of a student life. It is no news that a rightly arranged accommodation gives you the necessary comfort that helps you keep focus on the important things.

*******
Unfortunately there will be no picture to use as a guide. But i do hope that the information provided here will be handy.

Arranging your room largely depends on the pattern of the room (i.e the model), but i'll state the basic/essential stuff every student should possess.

1. Bed & Pillow:
Don't just get something to sleep on, think what's best for you and remember the best things always give a good return. I'd advice you go for a quality product, as it can give you a comfort that will last a very long time.

2. Table & Chair:
Also think comfort in this aspect. There are all kinds of products out there, such as leather & non leather swivel chair, plastic and wooden chairs.

3. Cooking gas:
They come in different sizes, think carefully and get the one you really need. Believe you will not regret choosing this option. It will enhance your life.

4. Curtains:
A nice quality curtains material will serve you better. A lot of people pay less attention to the advantages of quality in this regard but it pays good, it adds sparkles.

5. Mirror:
I am aware there are some bad products out there, and i'm sure you don't want to spend your money on something that will get you confused about your true look. I'd prefer the long wall mountable types with or without designs.

6. A beautiful wall art.

*****

It will be more useful if one have a clue on what the room really looks like i.e the type of accommodation it is and the amenities it has, as you know that the list of what makes a room cozy and beautiful is endless. Then i can provide you with tailored guides.

I hope you find my list useful.

@kel4soft
Would you like to share a little bit of what it was like in lagos? You never can't tell, one might learn a thing or two from your experience. Thanks

@oseiwe
Perhaps he has friends in lagos but he never mentioned. His words to me reflects a man who is willing to go and get what life will offer with total responsibilities being his. I can say he wants to do things like a man. I don't know if you understand where I'm coming from?

@eluquenson & @GogetterMD

Thank you so much, I believe these are good places but I think knowing some factors just as @cyborg1 had mentioned would bring about a great relief and helps in making a rich decision. I would appreciate if you can also shed more light on the availability of hotels in these axis, their standards and costs and also share your knowledge on how one can swiftly secure an accommodation in any of these axis and even more.
TravelRe: Moving To Lagos (facts And Guides) by gfunk1(op): 4:19am On Sep 23, 2014
A friend was sharing with me about his plans on relocating to lagos after he has finished his undergraduate studies in one of the federal universities outside of Lagos. He said he has no relatives nor friends or anyone he could possibly live with over there. so he has decided to spend some few nights in an hotel while he seeks for a vacant apartment he can rent. Then I was wondering what area in lagos would be a perfect port of call for a newbie as my friend. considering certain factors like the costs of rents and the costs of hotel rooms etc. That his arrival solely depends on.

Every response will be very much appreciated. Thanks
TravelMoving To Lagos (facts And Guides) by gfunk1(op): 3:38am On Sep 23, 2014
As we may all know, lagos is definitely one of the beautiful places in Nigeria anyone should see or relocate to. perhaps you'd love to take your adventure to a new place, please do try Lagos! Sometimes I fondly refer to it as Nigeria's 'new york city'.

Being a young man who lives very close but out of this wonderful city of Lagos, I'd spend many hours trying to figure out how to find my way there, longing for someone to hint me on the conditions of the different classes of life, neighborhoods, the rents and just anything that could be a guide for a young optimistic me to settle in such a city. Well, I just love the city.

So, I thought having a place where people can derive facts about lagos and the places therein and also guides for a successful trip to this city might actually help some people somewhere ( students, young graduates, professionals, families, individuals, businessmen and businesswomen etc.) who are willing to move into lagos on a short term duration or long term period, to gather every necessary information and get guidelines for a successful relocation.

Therefore, I welcome you all as you post your inquiries, and also commend in advance everyone's immense contribution to helping one another.

CareerRe: Nigerian Statisticians/Analysts Forum by gfunk1: 12:32am On Jul 17, 2014
Hi everyone, I am actually bothered about a few things, I have been wondering about the places where a statistics student in Nigeria can have his IT placement, and I have been wanting to hear from people that had done that, what the general experience was like. Also, I'm passionate about applying my statistical knowledge to the manufacturing industry at the end. What should I have known? In a nutshell, I need guidance.
Thanks for your considerate responses
BusinessRe: Can A Customer Sue Bank For Undeposited Money Lost During Bank Robbery? by gfunk1: 3:12pm On Jan 01, 2014
I think losing some money nobody knows about to the robbers at such event, is a great co-incident. It's a kind of ill-luck that follows man. I don't know if you could pick anything from this illustration: some killers were aiming to shoot at a man in the public, accidentally the bullet hits a guy whose friend was standing next to. Then the killers took off and fortunately for the original aim, he was left untouched. Would the victim friend attack the original cause of such evil occurrence? Well some would and that is why banks had to state clearly that cars are packed at owners risk. this is just my perspective.
