if Buhari is healthier than 80% of Nigerians, think how unhealthy those 80% are.

healthcare=failed.

that is why I said previously that there is no laid back or stagnant culture but as for now, our culture is yet to evolve to accommodate such lifestyles.

Pushing us to do so is infringement on our wish.

and making a law is trying to force evolution to not happen.

it is obvious. A new culture can override the existing one.....it is so simple and glare.

1. still doesn't still count with homosexuality.
if majority as you say follow culture, the minority would just be the minority.

2. if a new culture overrides an existing one, there is no problem. new cultures have been overriding old cultures since time. it only means the old culture is expired. forcing it to stay is like trying to ride a dead horse.

it is because it is not in accordance with our cultural norms and value. Our values and custom are at the risk of collapsing . It is government right to protect the customary right of the people from collapsing.as it the right of the solders for protecting their cantoment from intruders.

Yes I agree an imprisonment might be to brutish . A rehabilitation home will be better. I am not a supporter of imprisonment for any criminal offence at all, not just gay . But that is just my own opinion not the decision of the federation.

I don't see how culture would collapse because of homosexuality.

The biggest advantage of democracy is the consideration of majority over minority. In numbers, the people who rejected the idea of gayism and lesbianism outnumber the voice that consider it.

Politics work with such decision and not base on the opinion of some few individual who have tailored their needs to suit the western society..

There is a way law are made in Nigeria. It involve 2 stages in Nigeria. I will itemize and briefly explain this processes in seriatim.

1st Stage: The first stage is the identification of the need for a bill. 2nd Stage: The second stage is divided into 5 which are from 1st Reading to the last reading .which is assent by the President: A bill does not become law until the President signs it. The President has thirty (30) days to sign a bill sent to him/her by the National Assembly. However, the National Assembly is empowered by the Constitution to overrule the veto of the President. If, after 30 days, the President refuses to sign the bill and the National Assembly is not in support of the President's amendments, the two Chambers can recall the bill and re-pass it. If the bill is passed in the form it was sent to the President by two-third majority vote in both Chambers, the bill automatically becomes a law even without the signature of the President.

This emphasis that the law in Nigeria is consider by the majority interest and not minority interest.

what is the need of the bill to criminalize homosexuality?

it is against our national value and customs. Nearly almost every culture disregard it in Nigeria culturally.

We have values and heritage we cherished just like some other countries do. We should not just accept a lifestyle just because some western country is please with it. We do not have the same background nor culture. We are different people with different upbringing.

No laid back culture nor stagnant culture, I agree but as for now. Our culture does not accommodate homosexuality and lesbianism as it is called a taboo.

our culture abhor homosexuality however not everyone follows cultural norms.
there are many traditions that are not followed, broken or changed.

those who accept the lifestyle shouldn't be criminalized as they are not impeding others. they shouldn't be forced to follow a lifestyle they don't accept.
those who accept the lifestyle don't share your values.

a taboo that does not affect anyone apart from those involved.

that it is decriminalized doesn't mean you have to practice it, you can still follow your values and tradition, and they will follow their value.

culture is for man not man for culture.

what is this from presidential aspirant. Homosexuality or lesbianism is a crime as far as Nigeria constitution is concern. "" crime simply means breach of constitutional rules and regulations "". Therefore anyone who fall a victim is a criminal and shall be subjected to face the wrath of the law as it situated in Nigeria constitution.

Am aware some part of the world do not consider it as crime but in our sovereignty state ( Nigeria) it is labelled a crime. Unless it is review.

The female presidential candidate should take a little course in law or politics to understand what it is fully meant by the word crime.

it is a crime but should it be a crime.

You Fool! Indeed, He expected your mockings and railings. Even if He had sent rain, lightnings, and thunderings, you still would not have believed. Have you never read in Deuteronomy 32:8, "When the Most High divided unto the nations their inheritance, when He separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel."

You do not realise that there are things the temperate regions of the world have, that the tropical regions do not; and vice versa.

What's the conclusion now that rain did not fall?

Like I said it's just your own opinion.
Restructuring means different things to different people.

Just because your own restructuring means regional government does not mean other people will follow your idea. Some people would say the power at the center is too much which I also agree. Some would say resource control..some would say state policing is the solution. While some would just say CONSTITUTION REVIEW bluntly.. Without saying what part..And resource control is different from regional government.

Stop bringing complexities where there is none.

To restructure, the constitution would first be reviewed. The constitution would be reviewed to allow regional government. Regional government would mean resource control and devolution of power.
State policing is part of resource control.

Brethren, when Paul wrote Romans 1, Darwin wasn't even heard of. Man has been thinking this way before Darwin came along. Man has been suppressing the truth that he knows about God.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GohlTlLeqF4

In Romans 1:18-32, the LORD God says,

"For the wrath of God is revealed from Heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them."
