FamilyRampant Cases Of Rape In Nigeria by Ghozky(op): 10:33pm On Jun 07, 2020
Lately, there have been reported incidents of rape all over the country, most of these incidents are reported online.

Rape can simply be seen as any sexual act without the consent of either party. The female gender are usually higher victims. However, it could be both ways. Record has shown that over the years, some males have been victims of rape.

Recently there has been so many cases of rape in the country. It is even more pathetic because some of the victims have lost their lives in the process.

I will be sharing some of the stories here:

1.JOY ADOKI

Until her sudden death, Joy Adoki was a 400 level student in the department of Management Science, UNIPORT. In April 2020, Adoki Joy, was declared missing. A month later, she was found dead. The suspect, Friday Akpan confessed to the killing.
He confessed to the police that he raped and killed her alongside two others and then buried them in a shallow grave.

2. UWA OMOZUWA

Uwa was an 100 level student of Microbiology at the University of Benin. A few days ago, she was reading in the Redeemed Christian Church Of God parish in Edo state. A building not so far from her home when she was raped and killed.
It is believed that her attackers hit her head with a fire extinguisher and left her unconscious around the Ikpoba Hill area of Benin City. Although she was rushed to the intensive care unit of a hospital. Sadly, Uwa did not survive.

3.BARAKAT BELLO

A 19 year old lady, identified as Barakat Bello, has been gang raped and murdered in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
The Nation reports that the incident occurred on Tuesday, 2nd June 2020 in the Akinyele area of Ibadan.
According to SaharaReporters, Barakat was a student of the Institute of Agriculture, Research and Training, Ibadan.
Barakat’s sister found her lifeless body behind their home. Further examination revealed that she was raped before being murdered.

Globalisation and social media have played great roles in the recent rampant reports of rape cases in Nigeria.
Since the normal Nigerian society overlook rape cases. Some few days ago an 18 years old girl was raped by a 60 year old man, she went to the police to report and this is what a policewoman said to her
"you sure say you no enjoy am?", For Heaven's sake why will you say that to a traumatized person. Nothing justifies rape!!
Thankfully, the social media has and will continue to play vital roles in spreading the message against rape.
Victims who were hiding from the society for fear of being stigmatized, now use the social media as a medium to voice out and tell their story.

The two most recent rape victims who also died in the cause of this disdainful act, has contributed to the cry for justice.
Slogans like #JusticeforUwa
#JusticeforBarakat
has been trending on twitter.

With the number of rape cases being reported in Nigeria, it just shows how we have failed as a nation, how we have failed as a society, how we have failed as a family and how we all have failed individually.
Let us not pay deaf ears to all these rape cases going on, remember we have our mothers to protect, our sisters to protect, our aunties to protect, our daughters to protect and generations yet unborn to protect.
Let us mend our ways and retrain our children.
Let's all stand in unity and shout with one voice.

#NothingJustifiesRape

We need to think like biologists in this scenario and not just barbaric humans that are ready to kill anything to satisfy their hunger. Such species should rather be preserved to ensure perpetuation.

Shoebill (Balaeniceps rex) also known as whalehead, whale-headed stork, or shoe-billed stork, is a very large stork-like bird. It derives its name from its enormous shoe-shaped bill. The adult is mainly grey while the juveniles are browner. It lives in tropical east Africa in large swamps from South Sudan to Zambia.
The shoebill is a tall bird, with a typical height range of 110 to 140 cm (43 to 55 in) and some specimens reaching as much as 152 cm (60 in). Length from tail to beak can range from 100 to 140 cm (39 to 55 in) and wingspan is 230 to 260 cm (7 ft 7 in to 8 ft 6 in). Weight has reportedly ranged from 4 to 7 kg (8.8 to 15.4 lb). A male will weigh on average around 5.6 kg (12 lb) and is larger than a typical female of 4.9 kg (11 lb). The signature feature of the species is its huge, bulbous bill, which is straw-coloured with erratic greyish markings. The exposed culmen (or the measurement along the top of the upper mandible) is 18.8 to 24 cm (7.4 to 9.4 in), the third longest bill among extant birds after pelicans and large storks.

The Shoebill seriously creeps me out, they eat baby crocodiles and fish, but they freaking decapitate their food before swallowing it. They have actually been depicted in Egyptian artwork, so they've been around for a long time. They seem to be one of the closest reminders that birds developed from Dinosaurs!

TravelThe Kimyal Tribe- The Smallest People On Earth by Ghozky(op): 1:04pm On May 31, 2020
The Kimyal tribe inhabiting the highlands of Papua-New Guinea.
If one of their men grows to 1.40 meters or 4 feet 7 inches, he would be considered very, very tall, they have not been known to grow taller than 1.45 m or 4 feet 9 inches, beating even african pygmies by about a handwidth.

The Europeans in the Images are german Dentist and medicinal Ethnologist Roland Garve, he stands at about 6 feet 2 inches or 1.90m, and his brother Reiner at 5 feet 10 or 1.80m respectively.

Why they are this short is not completely clear up until now, but it seems that it has to do with their diet which consists mostly of sweet potatoes and other plant material.
Animal protein, while not completely absent (they keep pigs), is quite rare, which may contribute to their stature.
Also, it has been found that their height decreases with altitude, the higher up in the mountains they live, the shorter they are, a theory trying to explain this has postulated that due to nutritional shortages, the smallest people of the community have been supposedly chased out of the villages and into the mountains, where they then founded new communities, continuing the circle.
This theory, however, stands on rather shaky legs, it seems reasonable to assume that higher altitudes just provide less food than the lower areas.

All that being the case, the Kimyal are however observed to be growing.

I just watched the 3 minutes video. Surely the devil is a saint compared to our politicians.
And the foolish and fearful citizens keep on getting afraid of the hoax due to the hysteria created.

More reasons why so many don't want this lockdown to end because of want they are looting from it.

Let me wait patiently for the release of the fake livescores from the health version of INEC (NCDC).

As someone rightly said, maybe they went for Sallah and would return after the holidays.

I know you will be wondering what happens to the bone above the adult teeth when it’s time for the adult teeth to come through?

It moves out of the way as bone cells are replaced when they die and grow new bone cells. The new bone cells don’t grow until the tooth has moved by being pushed by bone under the tooth.

Turns out, toddler’s adult teeth are underneath their eyes.
Later on, they pop into place when the milk teeth fall out.
