jameshow:
Today's update on BOI loan.

I will be talking about the BOI loan's tenor and moratorium.

Tenor is the duration that the loan amount will take or expected to be completely repaid while moratorium is a grace period. The period where only interest is expected to be paid without principal repayment. This period varies depending on the nature of the project and the source of items to be financed.

Nature of projects: Projects that has longer gestational period will take a longer moratorium period than the one that has a shorter gestational period.

Source of items to be financed: if items to be financed is imported such loan will have higher moratorium period than loans approved for locally purchased items. This is so due to time involve to bring the imported items to the country, also the time required to clear at the port, to install, commission and commence work. It will take more time than locally purchased items.

Hence, the variation in moratorium period.

i. Why is BOI loan the best for Manufacturing Company's businesses?

ii. What are the likely effects of BOI loan on those operations?

With the above issues and questions raised and my answers to those questions. I believe it will help in determining where to source for manufacturing business loan.

Commercial banks will only offer short term loan with high interest rate as high as 28%-32% of the loan amount at max 2- 3years tenor without moratorium. The implication of this is that a manufacturing company that obtain such loans will work for that commercial bank throughout the tenor of the loan unless the business can generate as high as 60% profit. Even if they made the 60% profit yearly, is still doesn't make any economic sense, the profit that could have been used for expansion or diversification into another line of business is been wasted servicing loan.

Meanwhile if you are patient enough to go through BOI loan processes and get the loan at rate of 10% per annum you could get a year moratorium or at least 6 months moratorium for your business to stabilize before you start principal repayment. This will significantly improve the financial status of the company unless the company lacks financial management.

Secondly, the company will have an improve revenue reserve which could be used for other projects.

Why not think of BOI loan today for your manufacturing business.

Pls read 1 & 2 page of this thread for more details and my contact for more info.

Thanks

thsnks for the education,ok hopefully next year I will try working on boi loan

Family / Re: My Wife Won't Cook For Our Guests. Please Advise Me by Giantfarmer(m): 7:45pm On Sep 03, 2020
SirMichael1:
Hello Good afternoon Familanders. This is very long, so please bear with me.

I’ll start from the root. Well, in my church, there’s usually a committee for the married men where most times we can proffer solution to the issues or need of the church members and other times organize get together monthly within us (married men) just to foster unity. Since we're like 20, different men host the get together. Therefore, it's spaced out for 1year and 8months.

It all began last Sunday when I was chosen to oversee the next get together which comes up this Sunday after church. When we (my wife and I) got home after church, I told her about it and she immediately asked, “who would do the cooking”? I was taken aback as the question sounded strange. I replied her saying, since she did the cooking the last time, I figured she’d do it this time.

She got angry and said there’s no way she’ll be going through the stress of cooking for 18 to 25 men and that I better know what to do concerning who’s going to handle the cooking. I tried to calm her down and reminded her of how I assisted her in the kitchen by pounding the yams while she made the soup -two soups actually and that I was going to help her this time. Yam is quite expensive so we’re not pounding this time, just Semo.

She remained adamant and said there was no way she would do anything, that the work stressed her so much and she won’t partake in any cooking and that I better go find anyone to do the cooking. Thing is, I understood the fact that the work was stressful for her because she was 5 months pregnant then and it was her first time.

Yesterday at work, I kept pondering about a solution and a thought struck me. I called her from work and asked her, "how about I get one of the women at church to offer you support?". She blatantly refused and still held on to her words.

My mind hasn’t been settled since morning because I got hold of a caterer and she told me that she’ll charge a thousand naira per head, that is approximately 20k. Truth is, the get together came at a wrong time and considering the prices of drinks, the cost of the food stuff, meat, ingredients, etc. I really can’t afford a caterer right now.

I’m at a cross road now. I don’t know what to do because it’s causing a rift between us. I thought of bringing a church member to assist on that day without informing her so she wouldn’t surprise me and leave the house but I fear that if she comes, my wife might not join her in the kitchen and the woman will begin to feel a certain way (thinking of how ungrateful we are). Then again, who will purchase the food items? I’ve just been confused. I really need insights.

Note: I said I'll help her make the swallow, she just needs to make the soup.
. talk to her maybe you offended her try to find out what you did to her .I think you will get her to do it .but if she refuse after the begging try to get people to help out..her consence will judge her..pls don't fight or Force her

The ceasation of rain can be attributed to "August break", that short period between two rain season peaks. Let's start anticipating the returns of the rains as from the 23rd of august, but the rains will most likely extend for long this year.

Lesson to learn is understanding the rainfall patterns of your area
you think it's all about understanding rainfall patterns? rain stopped falling around 24/jul till yesterday that we saw rain again.thats almost a full month with no rainfall. hmmmm i think this is attributed to climate change cus it's strange and unusual ....

[quote author=jameshow post=89393177]The feedback I got from people who read my write up here is overwhelming.

I quickly want to shed more light on an issue raised by people that got back to me.

They said when they approach BOI for financial support, their staff will just hand over to them(customer) documents with little or no explanation.

Here is the issue, those relationship officers are always busy, they have many applications they are attending to, hence the need for a consultant who will take his time to break down each of the requirements and simplify their conditions for customers to understand.

A man said when he visited, they gave him too many documents, he immediately concluded that this is impossible to achieve. Just ordinary documents oooh.

Many Nigerians are not that patient to go through rigorous documentations while not give your self a rest of mind and let your consultant who understands their language handle it with them?

All you need to do is to provide the necessary information and documents for the consultant to work with and in the case of you unable to get some documents, i will even help or possibly follow you to where you can get those things out. Those are the things you paid for.

Talk to me, I won't charge you for consulting me, i will only charge when its sure you will get the money I.e when you have met all the requirements. My service fee is modest, in fact, some people paid more than what i charged them out of excitement.

Boi is the best if you want to grow

{Thank you for the enlightenment you are giving us for free, I am a pig farmer and a prospective poultry farmer (egg production) although I don't need loan now, but can you guide me on things I should start doing to position me been qualify to apply for loan by next year.}
