Congrats and God bless your lo. You're the one that was scared of labour, did you finally go for elective cs? I would have asked for BS but this one it took one week to get BA I don't think BS would happen.

,We'll, he wanted to check if I was dilating because of the pain I told him I was having but unfortunately I was not and he even said my cervix is still close. So I guess that was what made it painful.

Abeg no let fear grip me too for here maybe the doctor wanted to check if you've started dilating. This one @giddyperson said it's not painful, its like you have high threshold for pain. Ordinary menstruation, it's like my waist want to cut off so I receive pain injection sometimes. May God help me o! #supernaturalbirth#

Well Maybe mine wasn't painful cuz I was already 5cm dilated when I got to the hospital and I avoided the hospital until I was sure I was in labour cuz I was dodging membrane sweep I was already squirming when the doc said VE cuz it's always been described as very painful here so I was tensing up and raising my waist but the doctor made me relax and look away and when he was done I felt foolish for being scared in the first place cuz I didn't feel any pain at all.

I can imagine him trying to Chook his hand in a closed cervix sha, maybe that's what makes it painful, dunno.

Mustn't be Nigeria but I think there should be hospitals that do that here

My cappoo @,Naomi14, I finally went to the hospital this afternoon because of the pain I was having since yesterday morning , but guess what I was told to go to the labor ward for the doctor to examine me.

When I entered the labor ,ward, come and see different kind of shouting and screaming , people that they were telling to push...... Chaiiii , na so fear grip me oooo.

Finally the doctor called me inside and said he will check me to know what's happening , na so the man use his two fingers oooooooo , come and see as I screammmmmmmmmmmmmmm ehn That thing is painful , as in painful.

He said I should come back when I see mucus plug or blood show or when my water breaks.

Mothers are trying.

Congratulations to the new mothers..... U guys are heroes.

Lol you were introduced to labour 101. Are you sure it wasn't membrane sweep he did for you? Don't get how VE is painful, he's chooking hand inside your vagina which could be awkward, but I don't get where the pain is coming from. I didn't feel pain for any of my VEs, just this freaking out feeling of 'is this man's hand really inside my body right now'. Your next VE just try to relax from your hips down as much as you can, shouldn't be painful.

To be really sincere, am tired of being pregnant to the extent that I was crying this morning. I want to carry my baby like now.

That's what I do when I don't like something, I tell myself it's something else. Like Semo, I tell myself am eating Pounded yam so I will just swallow it in a hurry.

The major ingredient is just grinded uda and uziza seeds, lots of both so it would be very bitter. MIL was saying I would be boiling the grinded uda and uziza seeds and drinking it as tea and I was never gonna drink that, so they tried to make it more palatable by making it like peppersoup instead.

No pepper cuz I asked them not to put since uda and uziza are very spicy.

Was actually scared of the amount of clotted blood that came out hours after eating this, exactly as MIL said it would cuz I normally don't believe all these omugwo recipes. Me that I was already seeing pink lochia. It's like the soup took me way back. Can't decide whether to take it again today or not cuz they cooked a big pot of it.

Used to have that a lot, you could get up and exercise it a little, like walk around your house, if your EDD is close you can take a long evening walk tomorrow it will help. I noticed mine only happened on days I spent lying in bed.

U are just making mouth. Very soon u will be pregnant again. Me that was in labor for over 24hrs as soon I saw my husband after 3weeks of birth the kind congy that held me was so bad that my episiotomy site started aching me terribly without him even touching me. The next day I kpekus seriously I didnt even pity myself.

Funny I've not really filled a pad since delivery. Finally decided to eat my mil's bitter uda soup that she says would clear my stomach, ate it today and had the heaviest flow ever with massive clots, was kinda scary.

Monitor ovulation kwa, I'm not having sex until 3 years time Kai, it's like it didn't pain u well.

I agree ...it's was hard for me o...at ist my baby seemed OK...breast wasn't flowing... She was deceiving me , was just sleeping ooo....d nxt day I hear am...see cry...if she put mouth nothing dey come out ...she go vex dey shout...hey... All d nurses kept pressing that part of my breast that av bone...lol...dunno what its called..sha to knw if milk will show...after pressing... Small colostrum will come out..I will put her mouth again...she will kip sucking and stopping...at a point after taking pap my breast became engorged... And it wasn't even flowing... Vry stony...d nxt day I kept putting her to fed ... Luckily for me ..day 3 abi 4 it started flowing well...
Wen ur baby is very hungry(b4 giving her nan) put her dre let her suck...with d hunger she go suck am with force...just keep doing it ...one of these days it will flow well.

It's been 7 days, I've tried all these tips o, I'm tired of using her as a pumping machine, I'd try express more sha. I'd do the hot water compress and express tonight. Really tiring
