I think you should still go to the hospital. It's not everyone that sees mucus plug or water.
I didn't experience such in my two previous pregnancy.
My water was broken in the hospital and thus hastened labour.
I only experienced lower abdominal pains that were frequent and by timing them, I knew it was the real deal.

Please maamas help me oo According to LMP i was due by sat 8 of April so my doc gave me additional 1wk which I was supposed to have gone to see him by last sat(15 April) but I didn't because I wasn't having any sign of labour so I decided to wait till this sat b4 going to see d doc in which i will b 2wks post term. I don't know if I should wait till sat b4 going 2 see doc because uptill now I am not having or seeing any sign of labour....

In btw, my mum said I should wait 4 nature to take its course that some ppl even carry pregnancy till 10 month..I told her dat will not be my portion by God's grace.

I don't think you should have skipped your appointment. Your doctor would probably agree with your decision to wait until Saturday but then he might need to first check you and probably have you do a scan to be sure the baby can wait until then. You should go in before Sat and discuss your options. At 41weeks+, it's too late to be playing hanky panky with the doctor

Thanks . Is it weird that I only feel contractions when I'm sleeping the moment I wake up to time them, they disappear. Maybe I'm even imagining them in my dreams

Not necessarily oh. I have 2 friends that theirs worked. Just pray for what you want and be calm. Either way you know the drill. You and baby A-OK is what's important. And I won't lie, the treatment at our hospital was top notch. They even put milk in the castor oil so it was delicious

babes dont worry about it. Honestly just take each day as it comes. No two births can be the same and every BS is different too. Hearing the word induction can be really scary for ftm, like I said, I ate all d hot curries available so as to not go for it but I still went in. I zeroed my mind as to what will happen but definitely wanted a drug free birth.

I was booked in on the 9th of Sept (monday) and the first pessary that was used didnt work (il describe it like the thread from a lantern) as I went to toilet, it came off so I had another one inserted. It is meant to work slowly for 24hours. After 24hrs nothing happened so I was asked to rest on day two. I was already bored of staying in the hospital by this time.

Day three they decided to insert a 4hourly tablet, by 8pm when the 3rd as going to b inserted, a Doc came and I had to ask him what wld happen if it fails and he was flat out CS. Im like please Im going home (but nope, they didnt let me cos BP was a bit high) and the next VE showed I was still 1cm. Luckily the midwife who put the 3rd one in was like lets hope this is the magic bullet.

3RD was inserted and I was meant to be checked by 1am or so but guess wot when labour started, it progressed so quickly it was indeed like magic.

I felt a sharp cut in my pubic region just bf 1am but nurse came and was like its not time to check but il check anyway. I had reach 8cm without knowing and within mins I was fully dilated 1st stage labour took 22mins 2nd stage was 6mins and 3rd stage 9mins (checked my discharge cert). This is my story and is specific to me.

After baby came I realised regardless of what we try to do baby will come when baby wants to come.

For me, I think you might be more apprehensive reading various stories about induction and how it ends up becoming CS (in most cases, emergency situation e.g baby in distress, prolonged labour).

Just keep praying and saying positive stuff. The lord who started a good work in you will perfect it ijn. You are in my prayers. GBY

Lol like I didn't know before. My condition is beginning to affect my big baby. If I stay in the bathroom for too long he would come and check, he has banned me from locking the toilet door even to poo, and every time I wake up to pee at night he would jump up I don't know how he imagines the labour is going to start

Please keep positive, not all ftm induction stories end up in the theatre, mine didn't, infact in four sweet hours, I had my ds in my arms. Just pray and have a positive mindset. Its well.

Induction date 20th, no wonder you dash the date gimme. Just hope and trust in God to help you through it all, dont be scared dont be too anxious and rest your nerve. It is well with you

Yeah that's the problem, all these ftm induction stories I read always end up ending up in the theatre. I really hope labour starts on it's own b4 then

Lol is it not someone that can walk that would take walks. I took walks for the past 2 days tho, and would try again today if I feel better.

MIL just called this early morning to say I should calm down and not let them induce me, she said I shouldn't go to the hospital until my water breaks That the baby might even decide to come month end

My baby's head is so low that I can't walk upright except I limp, sometimes I'm even tempted to crawl on all fours to make movement easier, hope this is normal for this stage and I'm not about to painlessly born the baby . I complained at my last ANC and the doc said what else do I expect at 40 weeks but it's getting worse tho

It's one of the signs that labour is not too far away, you don't necessarily have to rush to the hospital now but she can mention it at her next ANC

i honestly don't know why they wait that long till they can give someone an appointment. Most days I don't feel pregnant at all and I just wonder hope everything is alright there. Most times I think of calling them and faking pain so that I can be seen earlier but I just like well , it is well. May2 can't come fast enough

Except you are high risk, there's nothing much they can do for you before 12 weeks anyway. You would just be crowding the hospital making it harder for people that might really need help. You would finally become bored with the routine check ups when they finally start, so enjoy your first trimester.

I'm tired of staring at these cute lil things everyday, frigging come out of my tummy and start wearing them you lil nugget
