You should see my kitchen, it scares me. My mil packed every single foodstuff you can think of, then my mum insisted on waybilling her own bag. I should consider selling foodstuff on Jumia When do they expect us to now lose the pregnancy weight kwanu.

In other news, one week postpartum and my tummy is almost snapped back. Haven't tied it or done anything to it.

I dont know how often formula fed babies poop o but babies are fed on demand. Once they cry na food first.

I'm trying to do 90ml formula every 3 hours and if she cries in between I offer my boobs tho she's hardly getting anything from it

formula fed poos more often than breastmilk. Every 2hrs if she is on breastmilk, 3hrs if its formula cos formula takes more time to digest

it's healing..That's y it's itchy, but no try am, scratchers discretion is advised. Rather use cotton wool and savlon to clean

My vaygaygay has always been allergic to anything medicated/antiseptic for as long as I can remember. Tried the Savlon rinse on day one and didn't respond well so I stuck to just clean water since then.

Yes you would not cast your young. Please focus on the fact that you are going to see your baby in the next couple of weeks and he's going to have a long healthy happy life in your care. This is your consolation, believe it so that your confessions would be filled with thanksgiving instead. I know it can't be easy but the devil works best when he puts fear in you. At this stage, you need pôsitive thoughts only.

So I did the hot compress today and as soon as I started, one breast started running like tap, I pumped 40ml from that one before it stopped and until now it hasn't flowed well again. Is that how it works?

good evening mamas. I was just reading through and I saw some advices on using warm or hot compress for breast engorgement. Well I like to say that that the warm/hot compress might help milk flow but will not help to ease the pain and inflammation associated with the engorgement, as warm compress will increase pain and inflammation.

So I'l like to advice mamas to use more of cold compress with just few minutes warm/hot compress. Lets say have a warm bath, drink warm fluids, brief warm massage before breastfeeding and then 10minutes of cold massage after breastfeeding

Dunno if it's cuz my drugs finished yesterday, had to take normal paracetamol today, or cuz of my excess phone pressing. I plan to sha get a nice long night's sleep today (no waking up to feed baby) and see how I feel tomorrow
