Same happen to me,i wear more dan 3top per day Nd change bra frequently since I didn't have breast pad.i jst got a manual breast pump Nd it work wonders,i have to express milk out nd dispose it since I have enough.dis really prevent my breast frm been engorged.

Btw am I the only episiotomy carrier that didn't do sit baths, I just can't find the time, the energy or the bucket . My stitches all look good now and I'm actually starting to recognize my hp again. I think it's the crazy skin cut shave hubby gave my hp the day before delivery that's making it itch like crazy. He shaved every single hair outside and inside amidst my protests, now they are growing back and shooking me like little little pins at the most inconvenient time ever.

Once met a girl that couldn't speak well and she said it's cuz they didn't cut her tongue when she was born, so guess it's a good thing someone noticed it. Not all babies have it tho.
My baby came out with an extra tiny finger like her dad , they tied it off at the hospital and it died and fell off a week later.

Im lucky to be one of the those who didnt have ms, no puking or spitting..well, till today. So I woke up spotting and I freaked out, because I never experienced any such thing in my previous pregnancies or since this pregnancy, and the spotting persisted, we decided to go get checked out at the hospital. When we got there, we waited to be called in, then this other preggo lady walked in and sat beside me with her toddler, I noticed she was spitting in a small bottle, she dropped the bottle and was making a call, next thing I see is her kid with her bottle gulping down her full bottle of spittle, i was like noo dont do that, alerting the mom, and all she could do was laugh and say "dont mind her, she does that all the time" and continued her call, was so puke inducing, I cldnt help it, I just ran to the rest room and puked, replaying it now is making me want to puke again, yikes.

thank you so much !! Actually her case isn't as serious as diarrhea!! No fever, No blood in stool or vomit. Though she vomited couple of times yesterday with little or no stool till last night when I made noodles for dinner. I gave her some slice of mangoes and water melon yesterday. She only vomited once this morning but has used the toilet like thrice today. Though she has had some sleep now and feels a bit better....... So will prepare the plain rice now and get her lucozade and 7up as you suggested... I noticed she's selective now. Doesn't want anything at this point. Even the boiled chicken is a NO for her!!! Asking what exactly do you want to eat? Only to get a big NO after suggestion.. Chai!!!!!! pregnancy is indeed another phase of life.... All women need to be adored at this point. God bless all you pregnant women!!! Its not easy!!!! Except the man is closed to the wife he won't know what the lady is passing through. Thanks dear!! Will keep you posted.

Am a first time mum and the journey has not been easy but it's really worth it shaa.... Am in my 37th week. Will be 38wks on Monday....EDD is today 7th... Yesterday I woke up strong and even went to work but when i got to the office I couldn't even sit cos my waist and lower abdomen was on fire...And the lower left part of my stomach was like breathing. So I went home and after resting nd sleeping for sometime I felt better but towards evening the pains came back again with fever this time so I had to go to the hospital where i registered and after the nurse checked me she said its labor but it's not serious yet that the cervix just opened a little that i should go home get my things ready and when it becomes serious that I should come back but surprised that since yesterday till now.... Seems the little one isn't eager to come out again.
Mothers abeg is it normal cos am beginning to get worried.

Maybe you stressed yourself on that day, didn't the nurse tell you exactly how dilated you were, if it's 2cm, I hear some women stay that way for days. As long as the baby's movements are still ok just wait for other signs of labour. If you are too worried tho you can always go back to the hospital and ask them to check the baby.

you think so? sorry to say those antenatal pale don't know what they are saying, lemme give u an instance why do u think they over wrap babies abroad wen they are born? imagine u as an adult taking cold stuff everyday and u get cold due to it talkless of a tiny life growing inside of u, infact some doctors will advice u to stay away from anything cold throughout ur 1st and 2nd trimester and wen u get to 3rd u can take it in moderation please ooo don't let them confuse u that its old wives tales ooo some people lost their baby due to intake of cold water. no one can avoid anything cold during this global warming but moderation is the key not addiction moreover our body system are different what works for u might not work for others like wise our lo someone like me get cold and cattarh when bi take too much cold water or expose my self to too much fan.

Well what you believe would work for you I guess. If you are eating cold stuff convinced that you are harming your baby, once something goes wrong, you are prolly going to blame the cold stuff. Doctors give ice to women in labour. How many seconds would the water remain cold once it's down your throat to be able to freeze up a baby in your womb.

breastfeeding was painful the first one week with both babies for me. ure lucky urs didn't hurt because I hated being told that baby was hungry.on having 2 boy, guuurrrlll it is hard work make I nor lie. the first is 3+ while second is 1+. they are both clingy and anti social asper not everyone can carry them. my first cries alllllloootttt and its super annoying. this is his second year in school but he still cries when I go to drop him. I have an elderly woman that comes to clean and I have a 13yr old that lives with me. good thing is she says they don't make trouble in my absence. but when I return from work, they begin climbing surfaces, fighting, quarelling over who sits on me, who I carry etc. bottom line is,I am a nag, a flogger and referee when I return from work. I have been trying to sleep but they won't let me. I have to wach out for them incase they attempt jumping from sidestools, plugging appliances or pushing each other off chairs and beds. unfortunately, I am glad I have a job that allows me small respite from mothering them and my 13yr old is quite amazing at being with them.

so yeah, it is a crazy job mothering those boys.........but they make me smile and look forward to COB.

Who said it isn't painful biko, I basically ignored 70% of the calls to come and breastfeed in week1. There was just too much going on. Thank God for formula, now it still hurts but not too much

About your kids, Choi sounds like a lot of work. Is the one year old in crèche and is the 13 year old in school? Who picks your kids from school? I finally brought my lil cousin to live with me, she's turning 12 this year. I see her more like a long-term investment cuz I'm sure she's going nowhere and would be of much use in 2-3 years to come but for now she's just like the first child. she's just been really helpful with some housework tho.

There's nothing wrong with drinking cold water, in my antenatal class, they told us the colder the better. As for ice, that was my major addiction. I think it's just old wives tales. It's just mean to ask a pregnant woman not to drink cold things, when you are permanently hot.

Yeah I have help with the baby, I'm Talking about my nether regional recovery lol. It has turned me to a perpetual water backsider and even front sider. You basically have to take a ho-bath whenever you go number 1 or 2, terribly inconvenient (big ups to the people who water backside voluntarily, it's not an easy life- no hoffence ) and breast feeding is not painless either.

Hi Farydah, you have 2 boys right? That can't be easy, how old are they now? How are you coping.

I felt so betrayed because I wanted that day to be romantic, made plans for just two of us to enjoy our day, but my darling husband insisted we go to his side chic's place so he could share his time with both of us. We argued and argued but then, as a submissive wife that I'm, I requested him to invite his side chic to our home for the sake of peace, but he refused. So I followed him as usual to this lady's house.

Now he pays her a visit on a weekly basis. I could see the happiness in his eyes whenever he comes back from her house. But whenever they quarrel, he would be sighing all day, blaming his chic's dad for it and wishing the babe sends him packing from her house. I will never follow him to her house again as he would willingly give her his attention while I battle for mine.

One day, I was at home as usual, minding my own business. A friend of mine sent a party invite to me via Facebook. At first, I didn't want to go but because I was bored at home, I decided to just peep there and see what's up. Not knowing God kept my own side dude waiting....
