I don't have issues with my skin, it's fresh as a baby's bum from head to toe and I think it's 90% genes. But I sha stay out of the sun a lot cuz it darkens me too fast. If I can't help but be in the sun then I use sunscreen. I took a break from lotions and creams for years now cuz they make you sweaty and some of them contain rubbish so I use pure shear butter, olive oil, coconut oil but my favourite is Neutrogena body oil before the price went crazy cuz it's so thin and mosturizing. When I'm in dry climates, Or when harmattan falls on Nigeria, I don't wipe my body after bathing, I just rub oil on my wet skin to retain moisture on my skin. I take off foundation by washing with soap and water, I sleep with it every once in a while and if I notice any kind of reactions on my face I take a break from foundation for like a week and just use coconut or olive oil. |

hunniesuzie: Welcome to my life, I think they just want to roll to thy kingdom come. The graco bed is now for naps and for restricting him when I go and shower otherwise he will wake up and crawl off the edge of the bed. I have a side bed on my bed for him, That's what we use mostly but it's wider than the graco bed but once he hits the edge he wakes up. Best way to get a good night rest is to put him on my bed (between hubs and I-the fact that LO is touching body makes him sleep longer) but my bed is quite big so it works
Don't have a solution sorry, just empathizing choi it's now I know the real meaning of vigilante. Nobody is coming to sleep between me and my big baby biko. What happens to midnight recreation if a baby is lying in between |

Benignasweety: Naso Zizi take reject em bed too, our bed isn't that small, dunno wat you mean by small anyways but he sleeps better with us. He can roll from tummy to back (courtesy of always lying on his tummy) and from back to tummy too. So most times as you are shifting from him, my husband will first land on the floor, then I will adjust my lil man to the edge of the bed again and wake big man to come back to the bed. .That is how we sleep at night. It's this landing on the floor that made me say our bed is small. Anytime I put her on our bed, hubby would end up not sleeping well or sleeping on the floor plus I don't even want her to get used to sleeping on our bed, I plan to kick her out of our room once she can sleep through the night |
Health › Re: NEW BORN BABIES! Are U A New Mum? Then Lets Discuss Babies Here!!!!! by Giddyperson: 8:30am On Sep 25, 2017 |
My baby woke up like twenty times last night. Since birth she only wakes up once or twice a night to feed, 3 max if she sleeps super early but these days once I put her on her back to sleep, she'd roll over on her tummy and keep sleeping, which is the issue cuz she hasn't learnt to roll Over from her tummy to her back, so whenever she gets tired of sleeping on her tummy and wants to turn, she'd wake up and cry. I feel like her cot doesn't really give her enough space to sleep as she'd want to and I can't put her on our bed cuz it's not too big and she sleeps scatter-scatter. I can't lay her horizontally across her cot cuz she's tall and won't fit. I'm out of options here, I miss good sleep. We use a graco playpen and it's quite big but apparently it's not big enough for her. dunno what else to do biko. Anyone else ever been in my shoes. |

hunniesuzie: You're lazier than I am and that's a mean feat. Buy Pampers Premium care. Its better than all the Nigerian rubbish and more affordable than US huggies. That's what I bought till I joined MFA voltrons
Naomi14 as for that sleeping through the night, my baby is 7 months and I'm still struggling with 3 plus night feeds. In fact they aren't feeds so much as pacifying with boobs. That pap thing e no werk by the way lol I only remember pampers when I have less than 10 left in a pack and waiting 5-15 days is not an option. Besides hubby does the pampers buying and I'm not willing to take over that responsibility. |

Naomi14: The process is not difficult. Register, Pick items, Pay and wait for 5-15 business days.
If you know someone who has an account with them, you could tell her to help you order items alongside hers. That's if you don't have the energy for registering. see protocol |

Naomi14: Thank you mamas! As in eh e no easy o! She eats like less than 10mins except from bottle. So at night she usually wakes, up to 6times before 4/5am. And na when sleep don dey sweet person. That's why I wanted to know at what month they stop doing that. Giddyperson oh you asked the question somehow before. Me I've been wondering the same thing too cuz since I started work my baby now wakes like every hour at night and it's frustrating. I'm considering my MILs suggestion of giving her plenty pap at night maybe that would knock her out for six hours |
Health › Re: NEW BORN BABIES! Are U A New Mum? Then Lets Discuss Babies Here!!!!! by Giddyperson: 8:24am On Sep 23, 2017 |
Naomi14: Mamas at what month do I stop waking up baby at night to eat? Wait she doesn't wake up by herself at night to eat so you wake her? If my baby doesn't wake up through the night I won't bother her. I read that they can't sleep and starve, she would surely wake up when the hunger hammers her. I used to wake my baby when she was a few weeks old but now the longer she sleeps at night the happier I am. |

Graciouscharis: I've only used cerelac. The mixed vegetable is not too sweet but d ones with honey, wheat and fruits are too sweet. I think gerber is ok too. I don't know much about the brands in the market now. The last time I bought cereal for babies is about 7 years ago. My 6 yr old went from breast milk to normal food and self wean herself @ 9 months. Good morning, at how many months did your 6yr old go from breastmilk to normal food and what kinda normal food were you giving her. Cuz I suspect my baby is this type too. |

Liftedhands: Gerber rice is bland, multigrain, wheat and oat are not so sweet.
The Gerber that is sweet( more like fruity cos it has fruit bits in it) Is the Gerber lil"bits category which has Bannaa and strawberry mixed with oats .
Cerelac is very sweet so you may void that. Nutribom and purity aint so sweet too.
Nutrend( haven't seen it in the market for a long time now) is less sweet too .
Akamu ( best of all ) is not sweet at all. lol thanks for all the detail |

enque: She has 3 foods : Nuttymeal and mixagrain are from 6 months but veggie beans is from 7 months (my dd rejected d veggie beans till date so I skip it and give her the others). In addition she also has blended crayfish and dry fish Dt u can add to the meals when cooking (optional) or use for other baby meals like Okro soup etc.
U can order any of the 5 items as u need, u don't necessarily have to order all at once. Just pick wat u need. Foods -1400 each Crayfish n dry fish (blended) - 900 each.
Hope I haven't confused u more Thanks, you explained it perfectly, how do you place orders |

enque: Try Augustsecrets Nuttymeal and mixagrain. It's not sweet. I add formula or breastmilk to make it sweet. Is it for 6 month old babies? I follow her on Instagram but I don't even understand how the whole ordering food works. I just visited her website and same story. |
