Why can't you?
Is it more than this pregnancy?
Why can't you resemble me for once,
At 40 weeks I was running in the Olympics.... True!
Won a gold medal.
Better woman up, crawl to market and to the kitchen.
Crawl and serve them....
Then set your back as a footstool for your husband.
Say thank you my Lord....
And be happy and grateful he even married you.
Very lazy girl

My son is going to a school that don't support beating but he's going there because the standard of the school is good, come and see how his teachers complain cos they don't support them to beat, teachers dont have control over them most times that they just let them be.I specifically told his teacher I don't support it , beat him. To me that's why most children are so bold and spoilt these days. In our days even if teacher beat you for doing something wrong in school you dare not come home&report cos you will get another round of it. How can a small child have the boldness to be throwing things to be extent of slapping an adult? Ko Jo for my side. To me it all depends on how you beat & the love you show even when you beat, am very open and close to my parents yet they beat us.
Please don't give any body permission to beat your kids. That's how physical and sometimes sexual abuse creeps in. If you have to beat then do it yourself. I was reading some stories of abused kids on facebook and it surprised me that many kids would live in that unbearable pain just cuz uncle said he would beat them if they told anyone. Your child should be able to tell you everything that went on in school including the reason he was beaten without getting a beating from you. Beating is one of the easiest ways of punishing kids but it's definitely far from being the best especially at that early age. I'm not completely discouraging spanking but not to the extent that the kids are now scared of you or their teacher or their house helps.

good evening beautiful mums.I just spoke with some medical doctors and my mum as well who is a retired midwife.spoke with a cousin of mine who have a pre school in Lagos about his attitude. what they all told me is that I should stop beating him that I will end up scaring him away from me which I agree because after beating him he avoids me for like 2-3hours before he will get close to me again and I also rant while the beating is in progress and he has this scared expression on his face when I'm in that mood.I hate myself after each beating episode.
the point is my son throws things when he is playing and also sees it as a means of inviting you to join him and play.he screams too at the top of his voice out of excitement when he sees the object fly.his throwing attitude has never been as a form of tantrum or anger.
I have talked to him telling him how mummy doesn't like this attitude and also scared of him injuring another person.I have even denied him his favourite being ribenna and biscuit and he will still move on to throw something and scream while running round the house.to be sincere to you all,I'm not trying to be emotional or take side,I have come to conclusion that he doesn't understand what my fears are and doesn't understand the meaning of that beating I usually give him.at the end,my doctor friends all said I should go and ready up on TERRIBLE TWOS and THREES.even my cousin said same.I just googled that and I saw that the character he exhibits is just normal for his age.so all I'm left with is just prayers for this phase to pass and also for God to help me with my quick action of spanking him.
sorry dear mums I didn't mean to bore you all with long Epistle but I just felt I should share my findings since we happen to be many on this boat.....lifted hands and other mamas cruising same boat with me.....THE LORD IS OUR MUSCLE...... kissess
lol happy that you typed this. Beating shouldn't be an option now biko. Take objects from him before they can throw and shout like a broken record. Keep the rod for when he's old enough to understand why you're beating him

Reduce the quantity of yeast, and then don't mix it to be watery. Let the mixture be like Chin chin mixture, cover as usual, it will rise like it should, then you fry it. It tastes richer
k thanks. I already mixed it like chinchin but I'd try the yeast part

I have gone gangsta on her but she refused... I am thinking of changing her formula, she takes Nan, I don't know if I should change to aptamil and see if she likes it
lool nan or Nancy. Don't go gangsta yet. Try always giving her the milk when she's not hungry just to first get her used to the taste. I'm also trying to get my baby to take breastmilk from a bottle. She accepts it more when she's not hungry but I was thinking it would be the other way round

came back home just now from our 14 weeks immunization, no fever, no crankiness, just a lil bit dull, I have not given her paracetamol...

mama please oo, my Enny suddenly refused to take formula since 3 weeks ago but she prefers expressed breast milk in bottle, please how do I do it? she is going to daycare in 2 weeks time and I am resuming work by September 4...I don't know how to pack her feeds, I can't leave her starve, my work is not baby friendly..... pls e dakun epp me
Its cuz she's seeing a better option closeby cheesy give someone else to feed her and keep trying or you can buy an electric breast pump and express more if you have the means of storing it or the energy.

have u taken d 14wks? I need review pls grin
the needles were three this time. Two on one leg and one on the other yet it's been the easiest so far. No fever at all. Her temperature never went up. She wasn't too fussy and at night she laughed and played so much we were wondering if the immunization got her high cheesy it was so difficult to put her to sleep cuz she was so hyper. I gave her paracetamol immediately after the injection tho and I gave every five hours two more times cuz in between the playing she wud just start crying randomly like she was in pain

Don't b scared nah. My first was 2.8kg and d wicked nurse just tear person cry grin
Lol in my hospital the matron would say they must tear you no matter how you try to escape cheesy Pweetiebabe the tear is no big deal sha it made things extremely easier for me. Tho there's the one week of hell post delivery which I think I deserved cuz when I used to go to antenatal I used to secretly laugh at women with newborn babies who couldn't walk or sit properly. I don't know why I thought it was funny embarassedand hubby would be begging me to stop. After when I got my own nemesis and started limping and sitting with half bumbum he used to ask me if I know why I'm suffering now and I'd be like don't even say it I know. grin embarassed

For a. Min even when he fall asleep in my hands I would be like ope ooo finally he don sleep let me slowly lay him down as soon as his back is on d bed his eyes will just open like torch and he would start crying like say I pinch him cheesy am so happy he's back to his normal sef today grin
Seems my baby and yours react to immunizations the same way.

This 10week immunisation is still disturbing my baby he wi just cry for no reasons. He wants me to carry him always na so e dey do dem abi na something else
My baby does this too. Just fusses for an extra day after immunization. I use to think she just got used to the excessive pampering from the day before cheesy As long as there's no fever just carry him like he wants but gradually get him used to lying on his own again. it's not easy to collect two giant needles grin
